We were at Lure for Dine Around Victoria on Saturday night. Great meal, fabulous atmosphere, and Sarah went above and beyond as our server. I follow a grain and dairy free diet; she ensured I was aware of ingredients and made special requests with the chef for me. Thx to the chef too for being so flexible!
I recently checked this place out and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a royal experience. The service made me feel like an emperor, with the staff going above and beyond to cater to my needs, especially considering my dietary restrictions.
The winter domes set the stage for an enchanting evening, and the food? Pure indulgence. The dishes were fancy, each bite a symphony of flavors. And let's talk about the dessert – decadent doesn't even begin to cover it.
Surprisingly, for the level of elegance and romance, the prices were reasonable. It's the kind of place that's sure to impress – an amazing culinary adventure that I'm already planning to repeat.
Cannot beat the gorgeous waterfront location! Delightful service and enchanting ambiance on the patio. They even kitted us out with blankets when the wind turned! Highly recommend the sushi bowl, yum yum fries, savoury olives, crab cakes and short ribs! We shall return! 😋
As a Christmas treat, my wife and I booked in the 7 course dining experience in the outdoor domes.
In the end, this was a pricey experience, and we have zero regrets and a new life long memory we shall cherish!
From start to finish, our amazing waitress took care of our every need, was attentive, and made excellent drink recommendations through out the night. She was so totally amazing and made it a point to way way over tip. Merry Christmas to her for sure.
Our meals were top notch. Each dish sported culinary highlights and numerous ingredients that were new to us. We compliment the chef on innovative local ingredient use like Sooke seaweed for the Miso soup course. 🍲
The domes themselves were cozy and warm. Overhead heaters kept us from freezing and blankets were available throughout the three hour experience.
I would highly recommend LURE and the Dome Dining 🍽 to anyone. 👍
We went to have happy hour on Saturday. It took the waiter a while to get us water or drinks. He apologized and he took our food order. We ordered the chicken wings,apple fennel salad and fish and chips. The food was really good. I really enjoyed their apple fennel salad.

We met another couple for breakfast on a Saturday morning in mid-December. There weren't many people on the restaurant at that time.
Our server came over to our table quickly, and was very pleasant and efficient.
Being more of an upscale place I thought I was going to be in for a fancy but sparse breakfast. Boy was I wrong! It was great, and a really sizeable serving (as were all 4 of our meals).
The restaurant sits right on the Inner Harbour, so you look out across the water towards the Empress Hotel, legislature building, etc. Certainly one of the best views in Victoria.
While not cheap or fast, it's an excellent place to dine for a couple or small group.
The restaurant is located inside the Delta Ocean Point hotel, which is gorgeous). Parking is available in their underground parking lot (i believe its free if you eat at the restaurant or stay at the hotel) and ample street parking (free) is available immediately beside the hotel.
Easily accessibly for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
The staff treat me like a friend. They are unrelentingly cheerful and helpful. The food is amazing. Great harbour view from every seat. I love the experience of being there.
This was the best experience I have ever had dinning out. As a person living with over 20 food allergies the chef went above and beyond making sure I was able to eat what my friends were eating. I enjoyed every single bite of our 7 course winter lux meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and chef. They sure now how to make accommodations. Thank you so much lire and chef Curtis !!!!
I had such a great experience with Kevin! He was incredibly attentive and took the time to go through each item on our menu. Not only was he sweet, but he genuinely cared and listened to his customers. I could really tell that he went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. WE LOVE KEVIN.
We stopped by during happy hour. The included appetizer for the pickle pub crawl was wings and they were excellent! Light herbs and a generous portion. Our drinks and service were great. A really good stop for us. Plenty of shaded outside seating for a sunny day. Looks like a lovely hotel. Very clean!
Amazing service and saying the food is divine is an understatement. Plus, the view... We love the dome, it's much quieter and private. Last time we had the kids with us and we were so at ease there as we knew we were not bothering anyone and our toddler wouldn't just runaway. We ate at peace. It is not just good food, it's a dining experience that all couples and young families should have.
