Review Elisa - Vancouver

We were so impressed by our entire experience at Elisa! The food was so tasty and beautifully presented. We went for the steak and were not disappointed! The Brussels were amazing and crispy and the scallops were juicy! Beautifully balanced cocktails mixed to perfection. The service was attentive and didn't feel rushed at any point. The design of the space was absolutely gorgeous with little design treasures to be admired around every corner. The acoustics were particularly pleasant. There was a nice buzz of chatter in the room with ambient music filling the space very evenly. Perfect for casual conversation. I can't say anything negative about our visit to Elisa. It was perfect for our anniversary dinner 🤍

Firstly, the tomahawk was grilled perfectly and amazingly. The meat was so tender and flavourful; the surface was crispy. The risotto tasted so soft and delicious as well; the flavour of the crab was fully absorbed in the risotto. The cavier was undoubtedly exceptional; it consists of a delicately firm texture that is transformed into a smooth and creamy, almost butter-like consistency, as it melts in my mouth. The rest of the food was fresh and nicely made as well. Additionally, the service was extraordinary. We had a great experience overall! Would definitely go visit again!

This was a hard decision. I am giving Elisa a 4 because the food mainly. The service was top notch; very attentive servers. The food however was slightly disappointing. We got the a5 wagyu and the 60 day old aged blue dot steak from PEI. The meat was great but definitely not worth the price. We also got fries and wild foraged mushroom as sides. The fries were incredibly good; highly recommend. Maybe we too much of high hopes for the restaurant. I liked the experience but wouldn't go again

Came here to celebrate wife’s bday with our baby girl. First time to see everyone without mask, guests and staff, in the restaurant. It’s awkward and great! Expected it to be overpriced and hyped, but turned out to be an amazing experience. Food is not cheap, but it’s good quality and portion. We only finished half of the chicken and Wellington steak. Service is also attentive and professional. The dessert was too sweet for us, but it’s just our personal preference. The wine menu has way too many options lol Overall, our dining experience was spectacular.

Great Anniversary Dinner. This place often comes in as one of the best steakhouses in Vancouver. It did not disappoint. We ordered the porterhouse and shared it. It came pre-cut and perfect for sharing. The pureed potatoes were delicious, and the staff so attentive and really added to the experience. The Steak was perhaps the best we've had (and we've hit all the highly rated steak places in Vancouver) . Make sure to make reservations. It was very lively for a Tuesday night (where all the other restaurants in the area were almost empty) . This is a perfect spot for any special occasion.

Amazing staff, wonderful environment, knowledgeable and professional. Checks all the boxes as being the best steak house in Vancouver, without a doubt. However, being a steak house and not being able to cook my steak Chicago style (char outside, rare inside), is kind of sad for a steak house. One of the world's most popular styles to cook a steak and it's "we can't do that but we'll do our best".... Really? Again, great steak but it was char outside and almost medium inside. No bueno.

The experience was great. Sat on the patio and celebrated my birthday. The ambience was good. Didn't care for people walking by and smoking. Didn't see valet parking. And well the food was prepared with excellence, both my wife and I felt the dishes were overpriced. The prime rib was a go ood portion, but the sides were not a good portion. Thankfully we had ordered some small plates to make up for it. The baked Alaska in my opinion was the star of the show. For the price, I think I'd rather go next door to Cioppinos for the 7 course meal. As much as I enjoyed the food, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

Our server was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the steaks. We tried 3 different kinds of steaks and all of them were amazing! It was my husband’s birthday and we got complimentary desserts! The only minor thing was that our booth seat was a little dirty. It wasn’t a big deal though. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Elisa!
