A solid Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว and at under 15 bucks as a lunch combo is an absolute gem. Authentic home-cooking style Thai food in a local Burnaby eatery and under the radar great joint with extremely efficient and accurate service. The noodles were rad, authentic super yummy and chewy thick rice noodles with a heaping of tofu squares, scrambled stir-fried egg with great overall flavoring and seasoning. Plenty of thai spices, the spicier the better!! The lunch combo soup is chicken-broth based, but they whipped up a salad as an alternative since it wasn't crazy busy which was super nice of them. The dish also came with one of the best deep-fried veggie spring rolls I have had in a while and less processed or pre-frozen than other joints I have grabbed at. The staff are super nice, accommodating and friendly. The smell of bleach and disinfectant is overwhelming, but may have been bad timing as I was close to the end of lunch serving.
