Had a wonderful time playing music poker and sitting chatting with friends. So close to where I live so I can just walk around without worrying about driving. The staff were great and so friendly. Thanks for a great evening.....I'll be back and soon.

Often meet friends here for a refreshment or a quick bite to eat before band practice.🎷 the Blenkinsop Chop Chop salad is delicious and a large portion.

Had a great time here after stopping in randomly on a night music bingo was on. Didn't know it was a bingo night but stayed and played, it was a blast! Bit of a wait on our food before it started but thats to be expected before the game kicks-off. Reasonable prices, good food and drink specials. Had fun! Will be back.

Saturday night music bingo is always fun...a must go!! The food is served hot and delicious...atmosphere is like walking into "Cheeres"...and the service and staff are great...see for yourself!!

Pretty good food. Stopped in here as was waiting for my appointment at the bc driver's place. Great atmosphere and a really friendly staff. Definitely would recommend for lunch. Phillips on tap is nice and crisp cold and paired with the monkey tree club wrap works best. The house salad with vinaigrette worked perfect.

Even though I waited 1.5 hrs for my food it was worth the wait. There was a HUGE group that ordered just before us so I understand the wait. The servers were attentive and polite

I really liked the atmosphere here. The place wasn't packed so the food came real quick. The food was good and the service was excellent. I would go back again. I didn't see any monkey's in the trees. Ha Ha ha.

Fabulous Finds

The food was very good here. They were perfect to accommodate a finicky friend that made requests on the way his meal should look and they scored 10 out of 10 for service there. Waitress was busy but very good. Lunch time here is quiet but we arrived at the end of happy hour and the place was packed and noisy in the front area but quiet in the back area. Busy with locals after work and very good vibe. Well run and the staff are amazing. Musician was very good and enjoyable. Good energy at this pub.

I forgot about how awesome the Monkey Tree was until I had the chance to become reacquainted with this amazing pub/restaurant. They launched a new menu with a few delectable seafood selections. I happened to be there for both trial rollouts; the Jewels of the Sea (aka oysters) and the Flash Fried Calamari Frites. Attention: Seafood lovers, these are home run dishes! I have gone back specifically for the Jewels of the Sea. They were so good the first time I tried them (and shared them), I had to have them again so I could have my own order. They're very rich, the 4 you get are surprisingly filling! I can't wait to have the Calamari Frites again. And they have Phillips on tap. Perfect pairing.
