Wow! Every bite, of every course, was unreal. You get what you pay for, believe me. My wife and I agree this is the best restaurant in Victoria. The staff were amazing, friendly and professional. I had the "kitchen tasting menu" and my wife had the "vegetarian tasting menu". Both were perfect.
I have to come up with something negative so I dont sound like a crazy person. There were no strong local IPA's(6 or 7%) on the beer menu which I've come to expect living in hipster Victoria. Oh well, I wasnt drinking tonight.
I love it and will be back.
Didn’t have time for a tasting menu but ordered plenty of food and everything was so yummy! The cocktails, wine, food and friendly staff were amazing! Definitely going back next time I’m in Victoria!! ❤️❤️❤️
So my vegetarian pal was visiting, found an online review and said, "let's try the vegetarian tasting menu" - we were so pleased - the varieties, the flavours, the colours, the aromas ... I think I said "they're doin' UMAMI and they're not Japanese!"... BUT what blew us away was that my chum said "let's go back", so we made a reservation and I let them know that we LIKED the previous meal so much that we wouldn't be upset to have the same things, but would it be possible to mix it up a bit so that not everything was the same... WELL... we had a completely different meal (this was six days from first meal with things NOT on the menu) (except for our re-request of the fried seminola sticks with garlic aioli omg) which was equally satisfying as the first time... SO good... okay, and I confess that I'm awaiting the right omnivorous friend to come to eat the meated tasting menu... and as we discussed, $45pp for the vegetarian tasting menu is a bargain... So-olo good!
