Most adorable little cafe hidden in oak bay. Amazing baked goods, lunch and breakfast specials! I'm not a coffee drinker but my mom assured me that the coffee was excellent!
Coffee and a few desserts were enough for me to understand why my wife sneaks out here at least once a week with her girlfriend...
De'lish delightful !. In a city full of coffee shops mostly making fast, weak, frothy and expensive drinks, De'lish is a real find. This little gem hidden away in Oak Bay is fantastic. Great coffee made and served by someone who cares about how you like your favourite drink, fantastic baked goods and snacks and take home frozen gourmet dinners when you haven't got time to cook. It hits the big 3 - great coffee, great food, great service.... will be going back regularly.
Consistently excellent.. Never been disappointed by this place. Beautiful, flavourful, unfussy food. Seating can be tight, but much of their menu is portable, and there is a lovely seawall only a block away.
Very tasty! Slightly pricier than some comparable places but the location is nice and cozy. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Got to try about 6 different appies catered for an event and each of them was spectacular.
Wonderful, cozy South Oak Bay Gem. What a fantastic spot. Such a cozy place to sit inside with a friend or outside with your dog under the new heaters! Great staff & service. Impeccably clean business - you can see the kitchen & it sparkles as much as the cakes in the case!
Such, de'lish coffee & pastries. Great lunches & dinners to go, PLUS they do some of the best catering!! They do Intimate dinner parties to buffet weddings for 200 (they did my friends wedding (all out of that sparkly kitchen!) this place is amazing!
Well worth the trip for the free parking, great service and amazing flavors. But remember you are going to Oak Bay ($$) - its well worth it.
WONDERFUL frozen take out. Every year my husband and I go for a vacation in a secluded cottage on a Gulf Island - no restuarants earby- and no, I'm not telling where! We are on vacation and have no energy for cooking. Problem solved thanks to De'Lish--- we buy a cool chest full of wonderful meals from here and have feasts every evening!

Great place to enjoy coffee, especially on a sunny afternoon. Wanted to go to De'Lish for a long time; finally doing so on a saturday afternoon. I had the famous lemon tart, and it tastes great, with full flavour. Other pastries and sandwiches look great as well, with lots of selections. Lovely service, and just simply a great place to relax on the sunny day.

A totally appropriate name. The patio is shaded, which is very welcome, staff attentive and food amazing. I look forward to my next visit.
It really doesn't get any better than this. There is not one thing that I have not enjoyed since the first time I went there. I hope they never expand into a bigger space or larger kitchen. What comes out of the kitchen now is culinary magic.

A Quaint and lovely space. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful looking food! Very appealing and delicious food. Usually I found little bistros/cafes like this don’t have enough variety or enough meal-type food more-so just snacks, and I’m left leaving hungry. But they had a great variety of delicious food like polentas, salads, sausage rolls, and incredibly yummy desserts. I will definitely go back.
In July, Mark catered a wedding reception for 140 people in our garden. Where to start with this? well, the planning of this event was complicated - at least from our point of view. For Mark, nothing was a problem - he looked after everything from food to beverages, ordering of tents and tables and chairs - every detail was thought out and executed perfectly.
The food: fabulous, as the food from De'lish always is, and it just kept coming. The staff was professional, courteous and experienced...and somehow, unobtrusive. In the weeks following we have had many unsolicited comments from friends about the food and service - rave reviews, in fact. Thanks Mark - you were a very important part of this celebration.
The food was great. Now, the customer has to negotiate a very small ordering area to be able to get cream, sugar etc. Not very easy when the place is busy. Another cream and sugar station outside, where most people are sitting, would be a good addition. Paper plates instead of paper boxes would be better especially when you stated to be eating on site. Ceramic dishes–even better. Wood sticks to stir hot drinks is just not worthy of a fine place like that. Also proper metal cutlery would be welcome.
They would save the earth a bit more efficiently if they would wash the utensils instead of using disposable stuff.
Maybe, it's due to covid measures and if that is the case I hope they go back to proper cutlery. It's a very nice and attractive place with great food apart the inconveniences.
Stumbled on this little gem today. Amazing food and Pastries. The soup was delicious. The staff we're very welcoming and friendly. They also have a great selection of prepared meals to take home. Will definitely be back.
I absolutely loved this little and cute bakery. They offer a great variety of sweet and sour treats, in addition to sandwiches. I especially loved their scones and their hazelnut cookies. Their coffee was pretty good too. Sadly, they are closed on Sundays.
