We ordered a birthday cake (blackberry bliss). The service and ease of ordering was fantastic! The cake itself was very pretty, decorated very nicely but was disappointingly bad. It was not flavourful at all and super dry. A big bummer as I shelled out more that a grocery store cake since we couldn't throw a party (Covid) to have something 'Fancy'.
We ordered a custom cake for our daughter's 7th birthday here, and it came out beautifully and tasted so good! The bakery is quite small, but cute and quaint - every worker there that helped us treated us very well and made us all very happy, including my daughter who LOVED her cake. Thank you guys!
Great service and high quality cakes and pastries! Last time I was there was Christmas Eve and the staff was so patient and in such a great mood! I got their Yule Log and the shortbread hazelnut cookies and it was pleasantly surprised, almost had it all myself! Once again a great experience at Lighthouse Cake Co.
This place is very cute, I wanted to take pictures of everything. I loved the service, cakes, and cookies. The store is small and the area could be better organized. Having a person in a corner specially for online sells, per example. Or all the cakes in the front so we don't need to go to the back if we are not paying.
I ordered my wedding cake through Lighthouse and I couldn't be happier! Easy process meeting with them picking out styles and cake tasting. Our cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious!
I drove from Sooke to get a cake from the Lighthouse Cake Company for our friend Michael 99th Birthday. No regret, it was worth driving the distance. We got a raspberry decadence cake and it was so tasty. So flavourful and so light, everybody could have taken a second piece. Thanks to the Lighthouse Cake Company you had a big role to play in making this day a really pleasant and delicious celebration!
