I hadn't been to redbarn in awhile, as I thought they were pretty pricey. I was pleasantly surprised that they're prices are very comparable with larger stores now! I'll now be doing a lot more shopping there now
Over a decade later, this is still my go-to spot for lunch when on the Island. Today was the kicker- somehow I got the equivalent of a salad jammed onto my half sandwich that cost around $8… no extra charge for vegan cheese or vegan mayo, and let me tell you- it was so fresh and fulfilling, and the perfect fuel for a long bike ride.
Conveniently located along some great cycling routes or on the road to/from the ferry, great outdoor seating space in the covered patio or lawn, and other wonderful market items you may need are all right here.
The BEST made to order sandwiches. Amazing fresh ingredients with a perfect variety of all meat, veggies, spreads, sauces, breads, and desserts. Great smiling friendly service from all. Funky market with produce, groceries and sundries. Great picnic area with room for kids to play, with a coffee and ice cream truck. Don’t miss this experience for lunch❣️ $$

The sandwich bar is exceptional. You must have to try out their order-to-made sandwiches with the delicious potato salad. Parking is available outside the market. A great place to visit during weekend.
Great little market. I get my hot lunch from here almost daily and I'm never disappointed. Staff are lovely and helpful and always have a smile on their faces. The cooks make really good hot lunches and breakfast. The deli is top notch for fresh sandwiches. I often get my dinner ingredients from here, your marinated Maui steaks are great and your scalloped potatoes are hands down the best.
Great selection of locally produced goods and otherwise. They serve quality coffee and freshly prepared sandwiches. Lots of parking. Definitely worth the stop as you pass by!
Grabbed a custom made sandwich at their sandwich bar, and some baked goods for our lunch on the way to the ferry terminal. We found this market based on Google reviews close to the Butterfly Gardens and it didn’t disappoint. I found their sandwich counter well organized, stocked with fresh ingredients, and a large selection of cold beverage choices. I didn’t have a chance to look around the market much, so this review is focussed on the sandwich bar. They also have an outdoor area set up with tables and chairs/benches on a grass field next to their gravel parking lot, but it wasn’t set up to look pretty or anything….more functional than anything. Bonus: a Island Farms Ice Cream truck seems to be permanently set up next to this parking lot! Fair prices for the sandwiches, loaded with lots of veggies. Excellent price for the two ginormous scoops of ice cream!
Lotta of fresh produce! Excellent sandwich bar as well as many pre-made near the front door.
Decent sandwiches. It’s best to do double meat to really taste it.; $15.
