While on vacation in Victoria this is the only place I ate at twice. The waffles are authentic and simply delicious. I tried both of the waffles the liege and Brussels. I loved both of them and the fresh fruit compote � wishing I had one of these waffles now.

I came here today with my dad. We each got a liege waffle with whipped cream. I can honestly say this was the best waffle I’ve had in my lifetime.
Not too soft, not too hard or dry, and with a hefty serving of delicious home made whipped cream. It was served on real plates with metal utensils, and the place was run by one very friendly man behind the counter.
10/10 will eat here again any time I’m in Victoria.
Amazing Belgian waffles out here. They are authentic and served fresh. We got the basic waffle and ice cream scoop and enjoyed every single bite! 10/10 would come back!
The best waffle shop in Victoria, almost every one knows about them. The shop is in a very nice location at market square where you can check out other stuff around too. One star off because the staff wasn’t so friendly when we visited recently but overall, they got delicious treat, even the plain one with no chocolate sauce or whipping cream, quick and nice service most of the time. I will always go back here for waffles
Awesome waffles! Best waffles in have had so far! This was the highlight of our trip to Victoria. Cozy little place in the market square. Looking forward to visiting again!
We had a delightful after-work outing on a Friday at Wannawafel. The owner ensured that everything on the menu was available for us, making it a great experience overall. The waffles were authentic and delicious!
A little disappointed in the strawberry waffle; we were expecting fresh berries, not compote. Still good and flavorful. Safest to go with the liege waffle.
Came here years ago when I was visiting Victoria. The waffles were really good so I thought I would give it another go. It's still incredible and the guy working here was very nice and quite helpful with directions. Would absolutely recommend!!!
I had been craving a crispy waffle for days with no success at satisfying that craving UNTIL we stumbled upon Wannawafel. These were fantastic Belgian style waffles! So many wonderful toppings but the classic whipped cream was perfect

Thank you for your feedback. If we visit Victoria again, we will stop by and give it another shot. It must be good because there's always a line. It just wasn't my lucky day.
We were so excited to try this place and in the morning we headed out. The place was late to open and we got there while the tables were being put out. We ordered and the waffle dough wasn’t ready so we had to go with something else. It was not the best. I make better ones at home. Sadly we were not impressed and I was so excited about going there.
Really great waffles and the toppings are fantastic. Very delicious. Pretty expensive for one small waffle with toppings being an extra like $2 each. Pretty good overall though.
