A newly opened spot for sweets in Victoria is Chocolats Favoris. They are a Quebec based chocolate company and their specialty is making chocolate fondue. At their shop, you can have soft serve ice cream dipped into a variety of fondue flavours. I had to have the orange dark chocolate fondue on my ice cream cone and my husband really enjoyed the classic milk chocolate. They have lots of special handcrafted chocolates and other treats like hot chocolate. They are located in downtown Victoria and easy to find.
Definitely a place to visit. The place is a icecream and chocolate lovers paradise. Must try: Strawberry flavour with crunch hazelnutš. Totally agree with their saying: Life is short..eat chocolate
Must must visit for chocolate lover...it is a chocolate heaven...with icecream dipped in real pure chocolate of your choice...initially when they dip your ice cream in chocolate you feel an extra dip would be nice nbut once you eat you that layer is just perfect. No wonder this place is full of customers even on weekdays till their closing hours
Apparently, Chocolats Favoris is a new entrant to the Downtown Victoria area, having opened only in early July! However, given that almost everybody within a 5 block radius of the joint had one of their ice cream cones, I figured that it must have been good and was worth a visit.
Stopped by today with a group of colleagues for dessert. The place was well put together and the ambiance was nice to hang out in. So many selections and all of the ice cream options we bought were yummy with a great variety of sizes
I also met one of the owners Patrick in which did an amazing job walking us through the menu. Will definitely recommend this to people who travel into the island
As a dedicated dark chocolate enthusiast, my visit to Chocolate Flavours in Victoria was an exciting first for me. Opting for the Intense Dark 72% ice cream, I was treated to a delightful combination of flavors- raspberry sauce, roasted coconut, and raspberry crisps. This particular creation struck a balance between sweetness and a gentle sour note, which resonated well with my taste buds. I found myself drawn to the distinct richness of the dark chocolate, which enveloped the ice cream in a way that set it apart from other frozen treats Iāve had. It was a truly unique experience that left a positive impression on me.
The best chocolate ice cream shop in downtown Victoria! Iāve been here a couple of times and I can say that they always maintain the high quality ice cream servings they provide to the customers. On top of that, I also love how clean and well maintained the shop is, and how amazing the staffs are. Would definitely comebackš 10/10
Nice chocolate dessert shop in Victoria downtown. Itās chocolate lovers heaven. We came here for their signature ice cream. The unique of their ice cream is you can customize it the way you like from the flavour to the glazed sauce to the toppings. Itās not very sweet which is our style. There is also tables you can eat outside too. The decorations is like chocolate factory from the movie very well thought and fits in nicely. This is must-go spot for tourist if you are in Victoria. They have other locations too but this one is the most popular.
For me is a no brainer five star review. I love ice cream š¦ and I love chocolate š« and the two together are a match made in heaven. I hah the 70% chocolate dip with freeze dried raspberries and raspberry sauce. Absolutely delicious š there are plenty of other yummy selections but this is the perfect combination. There are other things the store sells that are chocolate like bars and treats and and other related chocolate things. The store is cool and gives a great vibe and the smell is amazing. This is a first visit of more to come. My wife and I absolutely loved the visit.
Walking in feels like youāre in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! The shop is very clean and youāre surrounded with the amazing smell of chocolate. There are endless variations for you to choose from! The chocolate is very rich and tastes amazing. Highly recommend visiting them!
The icecream was delicious and not overwhelmingly sweet!! The dipped dark chocolate coating was a perfect balance to the icecream inside. The individual chocolate selction was also delicious and plenty! This is a perfect store to end your day on a cozy and delicious note!!

I have been to this location several times and it never disappoints! The quality of the chocolate is impressive. The variety of flavors guarantees that there's something for everyone! I personally recommend the Original Milk or Dulce de Leche chocolate covering.
The prices are also accessible for the amount of toppings you get.
My only complaint goes towards the service. You may ask for the same ice cream size on different days, and you will never get it to be the same. The 'baby' size, for example, is sometimes very large or very small depending on who serves it. Orders are commonly mistaken (it has happened to me around three times and the order you refuse to take is just tossed in the trash, which is a huge waste and a loss for them). Also, they don't seem to prepare everything that is announced on the menu, as I have asked for some things other than the traditional cones and been told that they're "not making them at the moment".
Other than that, the flavor is unforgettable. You'll want to come back!!
Definitely a no-brainer 5-star review for this place. I love ice cream, and chocolate, so this is the perfect must-stop spot in the area. Walking in, it reminds me of a real chocolate factory, where the tubes are running overhead and the air smells like delicious chocolate. Very kid-friendly, and plenty of places to sit (plenty of napkins too!) and enjoy these sweet cold treats.
I got the fudge one and it is so good, I will have to come back to try them all!
The beta hot chocolate Iāve ever had hands down. If you are a local or a visitor and are looking for a hot drink or an ice cream 5/5 would recommend.
