Good food and great view...
This is our "go to" restaurant especially in the summer. Their salads are the best and we enjoy their happy hour pints and pizzas. The service is consistently admirable.
We had my sons 25th birthday party at Lido and every single bit was fantastic! food, music and service were perfect!! Thank you so much for everything!

Looking for a venue for a private party? Lido is your answer!. I just finished hosting an engagement dinner at Lido and we got the whole space to our selves for our private party. I booked about 6 weeks in advance and I was every bit annoying with all my little requests I had for Steve (The manager) he not only answered my questions in a timely manner, but he never said no to any of my requests! He made everything happen! I was SO impressed. When he told me we would have just a chef (Jamie) and a bartender (Scot) I was a little worried, we had a party of almost 30 people and it seemed like a difficult task for two people to handle. These boys knocked it out of the park! The chef is not only very kind, he is brilliant in the kitchen. My guests are STILL talking about the food. Every course that came out was absolutely to die for. Scot managed to take care of 28 constant drinkers all night, I rarely saw anyone waiting for a drink. He was fast and efficient. I am so grateful for the staff at Lido and making this event the best it could have been. The Brides and family were more than ecstatic. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a space to hold their special occasion, two thumbs WAY up.
I love this place! The staff are always friendly and smiling, local beers on tap, amazing wings (best in town I think) and an amazing view of the inner harbour. It's also great if you want to book a private party. The prices are beyond reasonable and the food quality is excellent.
Best pizza on the Island. Wow! So far, this cute little hidden gem has the BEST pizza on the Island . It is NOT your typical greasy flavorless pan pizza. The dough is perfect, the toppings are absolutely amazing. The service is also great and the view fantastic!
Wonderful Event Venue and Catering!. Lido is a wonderful space. My workplace rented the bistro for a private dinner party. The staffing, food and beverage options were wonderful. The food was great, loved the mushroom caps and pulled pork pizza!
Would definately recommend this venue to a friend for a similar private party or just for an evening out with friends.
Date Night. Visited Lido last Friday night and had a wonderful night. The food and ambiance was astounding! Our servers Annie and Brigetta were both knowledgeable and very friendly, making great suggestions and adding to the quaint feel of the place. Will certainly be returning soon!
Private birthday party. I just held a private birthday party at the Lido Waterfront Bistro and it was better than I could have anticipated. The food was spectacular and the staff was more than accommodating, the booking process was a breeze and the cost was so reasonable. Everyone loved the waterfront location and overall ambiance of the restaurant. I will definitely book another party here, thanks to Steve and all the staff!
Hidden Gem Downtown Vic. Wins the best patio and pizza award! Serves local beers and delicious cocktails. Family & DOG friendly! Best view of the harbour i.e. seals, pirate shows, sea planes. Thanks Lido, will be back soon!

Will DEFINATELY return!. I was here with a group of 8 other gals for a stagette and we all LOVED it! the location: GORGEOUS.. food: DELICIOUS ..staff: FRIENDLY and ACCOMODATING!! they were easy to work with while organizing and fun to be around on our "wild" night out.. highly recommend!

Located along the water North of ship point, this pub often has patio seating even during tourist season. Tucked in behind a condo building and at the end of a parking lot, if you don't know it's there, you might stumble across it getting off the water taxi.
Service was prompt and polite. Pints were cold. Finger food was quick, crispy and overpriced, but you ARE on the harbour and paying for location. Sit at one of the higher patio tables or you won't have a water view. Sit under an umbrella or you might get whitewashed with seagull poop.
ATMOSPHERE...great location, but the music selection included so many F BOMBS it was uncomfortable to listen to. (Right beside a water taxi stand where children were getting off and on..). There seems to be a disconnect here...
I love going there for a drink and a snack, when it's sunny with my dog, because the Patio or the small grassy area is authorized for our dog friends, it's an excellent point! 🥰
The cocktails are pretty good, the snacks aren't bad either, although there's a bit of a lack of choice for an aperitif to share...
I often take the Fried Cauliflower because nothing else appeals to me. The sauce is not at all to my taste, it's quite vinegary it's a shame but the portion is hearty!.
On the other hand, I never wanted to eat it, because the prices scare me! 💲💵
Had the prawns with coconut curry and it was the best. Our waitress was amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable. She understood celiac disease and cheerfully told us they have a designated fryer! Parking was right next to it and so easy to pay.

Friends and I went on a Sunday, at noon- it opens at noon, and we had no problem grabbing a table for four. The menu is a good size- definitely give it a look. Two of my friends got the nachos- with added protein. They usually like their nachos over-done, and my friends were pleased with their food. I had a bite of nachos with the added chicken- I highly recommend that, for sharing or solo! The chicken was quite reasonably sprinkled over the nachos with some love, not just lightly. It was tasty, not too salty for me.
Now please excuse my photos- the blue umbrella really adds a colour filter, and everything looks so blue! I had potato salad as a side to my chicken wings- it was a normal potato salad. Absolutely enjoyed the Louie Blue flavour of the wings though, which had a very slight heat- my friend that is sensitive to spicy flavors could tolerate it well. It was very flavourful. My only complaint (all comes down to preference?) Is that the generous and lovely sauce removed the crispness of the chicken wings. But the sauce made it up for the lack of crisp. Server was wonderful, able to check in on us as the customers started arriving more and more.
I would come again, to sample the pizza- it looked appetizing!
The nachos were simply delicious and hearty. Very friendly service but took a little extra time to order and get food. Dog friendly! It overlooks the harbour. Delicious cocktails- the orange margarita was great!
Artisan-style pizza and lots of choice of pizzas, great views of the water - we even saw a seal whilst we were eating! We had the mushroom pizza which was delicious and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. Four stars only because the food was a little slow and the ambience inside was slightly dingy.
This was my second private business cocktail party I hosted at the Lido. Steve and his staff were so fab the first time around I had to come back and they did not disappoint. All my guests were raving about the food and the view. Even when it's dark, the lights of the city are beautiful. The duck wings, arancini and donuts were absolutely outstanding. Thank you Steve and Shona and the chefs. It was all perfect!
Very accommodating to my dietary needs.
Shared the peach mozzarella salad. I had a pizza and hubby had the fried chicken sandwich.
The pizza was a bit greasy but good.
Hubby said sandwich was fine, breading on the chicken needed a bit more flavour.
Sitting on the patio overlooking the harbour is amazing.
This place had great food, service and views. We had pizza which was pretty good, not my absolute favourite but pretty good. Then we had the popcorn which was delicious and I had the cauliflower wings which were amazing!
Lido had one of the most chill patios in the inner harbour. It's a great place to soak in the sun under the blue umbrellas but also take in all of the happenings of the harbour. From watching float planes to the various ferries coming in and out.
The food is quite good! Although I think it's on the price your end of things. The pizzas are very good but they are quite expensive for what they are. It's a great place to check out happy hour and soak in the sun. Our service was great, kind, prompt and friendly.
