Super friendly owner and the price he charges for his drinks and pastry is more than reasonable. I went in here to do some work but ended up chatting with the owner cuz it's a neighborhood cafe where everyone knows him and he knows everybody. Definitely worth a visit.
Great coffee, friendly staff, hearty lunch items and baked goods and very friendly host. A nice vibe in this neighbourhood. A coffee then shopping at Good Things, used items store, makes a nice outing. Tables outside for warmer days, and cookies and water for dogs is much appreciated by this dog owner.
The Savoury Café has what many cafes lack today, repeat clients due to its great food and the friendly atmosphere. Not only are you greeted with a smile but you are immediately made to feel genuinely welcome. Fun times and fabulous food are the norm. My daughters get excited to go there so that they can have what they call "THE BEST GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH IN THE WORLD." You can have Greek salad, fabulous homemade soup, vegan food items and deserts to fine locally made pastries. The photos of the regular customers up on the wall add a nice personal touch to the environment in the Savoury Café. Great food, fun and friends.

My favourite little cafe. Alan is amazing at making everyone feel welcome. Great coffee. Good highlights: bacon cheddar scones, Thea's carrot cake, egg salad sandwiches.
Really liked the vibe in the Savory Cafe. Enjoyed every last bite of our lunch I even had to sneer some of my daughters homemade donut. Excellent barista and had a interesting talk with a regular of the Cafe.
A nice local cafe lunch stop. Located across from our office, The Savoury is my favourite place to grab a quick lunch. Super friendly service and a wide array of tempting goodies. The Savoury is always busy and seems to have a lot of loyal patrons. A real gem in our neighbourhood!
Great cafe food. I am fiercely loyal to Discovery Coffee for coffee in this neighbourhood. However, the Savoury Cafe is a very sweet, but small, cafe with a friendly and genuine owner running the place - and most of the pastries and food comes from Patisserie Daniel, so it's terrific. They make their own soups in house, and they're really good! I probably will never change to them for my morning cup of caffeine, but I'll be back when I need a good, fresh lunch.
The best old fashioned donuts and super friendly folks. I'm here now using their free wifi having a yummy americano (two shots in a small)
Popped in for my first time today. Owner is super friendly. Really good, super filled egg salad sandwich hit the spot. Many locals sitting outside enjoying coffee. Good spot. Will return!
Perfect place for take out breakfast or lunch. We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. Wish we could visit daily. Great latte and the egg wrap was delicious. The owner is very welcoming and gave us good recommendations for our next destination.
Honestly the guy who runs this place is the coolest person you'll ever meet. I mean this in the best possible way. He just genuinely tries to create the best coffee/meal experience for his patrons at reasonable prices. Breakfast sandwhich is ace
A real hidden gem Cafe, among the multitude of other cafes here in Victoria. Superb coffee, great food and cozy atmosphere. If you're visiting Victoria, this place is definitely worth the trek out of the core to make the pilgrimage to!

No coffee shop like this one in Oak Bay. The service is top shelf, the owner knows customers by name and drink order... This is how a small business in every community should be. Busy little coffee shop that makes you leave with a smile and wishing you lived in Oak Bay so you could be a regular.
