Review Suzette's Deli - Vancouver

ATTENTION!!! PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU WANT THE MOST UPDATED REVIEW AND ALL THE REVIEW FOR THIS PLACE!!! Came here and saw the queue so dont expect so much things since its a cafe food. The taste was okay i personally think mamas rice bowl is better. Maybe ill give the daily special another try so that i can confirm it. Nonetheless, it is very cheap though for a fulfilling selection of lunch. Cheers! I hope this helps! Update 1.0: Decided to give suzette deli another try. I personally love the bulgogi focaccia and it was really good. It was cheap and i would definitely try its other daily special. Update 2.0: Today, i tried another daily special of bulgogi bibimbap. In my opinion, it was just okay. I asked for the spicy sauce, but it was just okay. It definitely did not meet my standard for bibimbap. For the price, i think the bibimbap is something it can improve. Cheers! I hope this feedback helps! Update 3.0: Today, I tried another daily dish which was the spicy pork. It was definitely something i would give it a try because it was better than the bulgogi bibimbap! So come around and try this! Update 4.0: Another day of trying the daily special. This time i got the taco rice bowl and it was splendid actually. For the price of $11.95 and getting the quality and taste better than chipotle, i think it is very worth it. Come early on monday because it would probably get sold out before 12pm! Cheers! I hope the feedback helps! Update 5.0: Today, i tried the last daily special that suzette deli is offering. I personally think that it was just okay. The sauce itself got a lot of taste which is better than mama's rice bowl's. However, the less dry rice actually doesnt fit for the butter chicken. Also, the chicken is too big and too hard for butter chicken. Butter chicken is meant for kids in the beginning and a soft, small chicken would be preferable. Since the chicken is too big, the chicken couldnt absorb the sauce well. Also, since the chicken is not cooked long enough with the sauce, it does not absorb well. Just a recommendation for your next one is that you should cut the chicken into smaller bits and cook longer. You should also uze dryer rice. Nonetheless, this would be my last review with suzette deli since i have tried all its dishes that i thought would be special to try and choose which to recommend to those who read my feeback. Their breakfast sandwich is by far the best one I’ve had in years! It’s got various ingredients topped off with their yummy sauce. Hands down for their healthy and delectable taco bowl which will definitely fill you up as well as their canele for those sweets lovers out there 🙌 Go check out their place asap!

The best lunchshop since the beginning. All of special menus are awesome. 2021.10.20 update. They got new sandwich and that is something, amazing taste. And don't forget the cookies ;)

definitely love the food and the people. their sandwiches and daily specials are so good but if you haven't tried their desserts and pastries yet you are missing out. they bake different muffins and scones everyday in store and i bet i never find the same quality in town <3

Super tasty food! Nothing fancy but solid food and friendly quick service. Downside, couldn’t see a bathroom, and there are only a few seats, and when we were there it was raining and cold outside and packed with ppl in lunch breaks. I’ll be back when I’m in the neighbourhood for to go lunch!

Love this place! I haven't had a single thing at this place I didn't love. Fresh. Really good flavor, every single thing that I have ordered. Great daily specials, my favorites are the poke bowl and the taco bowl, Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Prices are really reasonable, I always come away feeling like I got a very good value healthy lunch for the price. Very reasonable and great quality food. One of my favorite alltime lunchtime spots.

Best sandwiches!!! Stopped here to get some food since we were in the area and will be going out of our way to come back! Vegetarian sandwich was the best I've had anywhere with the variety of fresh veggies in it and the Chicken schnitzel sandwich was very well made. The people working there were so inviting and kind. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Suzette’s Deli is amazing! I work freelance and used to grab food at random restaurants but this has become a new favourite. Their ingredients are always fresh, prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly.

Amazing place! Very close to my work so I often come here to grab some lunch. The staff are super friendly and nice. Their food is amazing as well. Definitely worth a try and to be able to support a small local business, especially in tough times.

Definitely a different schnitzel than what I am used to, I was very pleasantly surprised. A soup and sandwich with tip delivered through a food app for 20$ is unbeatable. The quality is high too, the beef soup has so much fresh ingredients yum. Thanks for this comfort food. If I lived close by I would go all the time lol!

I’ve been here a couple times for lunch as I work near by. What a perfect hidden gem. Family run atmosphere that you can taste with their home cooked selections. Korean dishes are a must,the bugogi wrap is a Thursday special that I love. Mostly serving soup and sandwiches with bowls as well.

The last time I visited Suzette's was about 4 years ago, and it was unsatisfactory. I visited here again with my colleagues early this year, and I found a new owner and new menu items! Now, it is the only place I go for a quick lunch since there aren't many good lunch places near my office. If you don't know what to order, I recommend getting the daily specials or chicken wraps. Veggies are very fresh, and delis are nicely cooked. The staffs are very friendly, and prices are inexpensive, which is a huge plus.

We ordered sandwiches for the company lunch few weeks ago and everyone loved the sandwichs it's sooooo fresh the bread is moist and fresh. So we ended up ordering them again today and again every one loved it. When I say everyone I'm talking about 100-150 people.

Suzette's Deli is amazing! Food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, delivery is always on time and their customer service is unbeatable. On top of all that the prices are so affordable. I've used Suzette's multiple times for catering at my office and have never had a negative experience with them. I've even had to add an additional 20 items to a catering order an hour before delivery and they STILL got to the office on time and everything looked perfect. If you order directly from them you'll never regret it. I will continue to use them for catering without any hesitation whatsoever.
