If you like generous portions of meat on your pizza, go for the Carnivore: lots of ham, pepperoni & capicolli so no question, the value's there. Crust also worth finishing off, as some other places, I'd leave off the ends lol.
Not quite the full neopolitan-style, flat pizza, but deleesh enough.
They also sell ice cream too, pasta and wings.
It's a cozy small place with a few tables and window seating for great people- watching to Stanley Park.
Been here for 10 years.
Located a few doors down from Ciao Bella.
Best pizza in town!. Their pizza is whole wheat thin crust with lots of creative pizza's like Tear Jerker & the Perfect 10. Ordering from these guys has always been quick and they have a large delivery area. When speaking with the owner they said many of their ingredients are organic and they have gluten free pizza which tastes incredible. 100% worth a try.
Fantastic fresh pizza. I was on holidays in Vancouver in August with my partner, sons aged 5 & 7 and niece aged 15 when it was lunchtime and we saw the Rebellious Tomato on Denman. We ordered a classic pepperoni for my sons, a Thai veg for my niece & myself, and a meaty cheese-less pizza for my dairy-allergic partner. All three pizzas were fresh and delicious! My partner could've had dairy-free cheese but chose not to but that was fine, as his pizza was nicely filled with toppings, which is often not the case at many pizza joints when he orders cheese-less. The best surprise though was the Thai veg pizza. I'm not normally a fan of "non-pizza" flavours on pizza but my niece wanted to try that one, so I was game - and boy am I glad we did! It was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Lots of nice flavours complimenting each other and veggies cooked just the right amount. And my 7 year-old son who normally only eats pepperoni, Hawaiian or cheese wanted to try it... and then ate about half of it! Sadly, we live too far to order again right now but Rebellious Tomato can be sure that we'll be in on our next visit to Vancouver!
Will definitely order again. We really liked this pizza. The sauce was really tomatoey and all the toppings tasted fresh. I really loved the whole wheat thin crust, it was and chewy with a crispy bottom and almost had a nutty flavour to it. I also really appreciated that they carry Daiya cheese. Only complaint was that it wasn't very hot when it arrived (delivery) so we had to heat it back up in the oven- very annoying but it was still good!
