This by far is the best pizza on the ubc campus. After a long day I decided to grab a pepperoni to go. It's absolutely delicious. Their dough isn't as greasy as pizza hut. It's not as heavy and leaves you so bloated. I had a few slices and was done for the night. I totally recommend this place if your in campus.
Hi guys! :) Sorry I haven't be posting as much. I've been going to treatment (for my allergies) 3 times a week and the medication/treatment I'm on makes me extremely fatigued. As a result, I haven't left the house much since break started. I should probably get back into the swing of things. I'm going to go out to eat sometime this week! I went to Safeway today and noticed a new pho place had opened near my house!! It's called Pho Chan, I'm planning on going there soon *so excited!*
In the meantime, here's a post about Pizza Garden from a while back! I ordered an entire pizza + an extra slice during my lunch break and ate it ALL BY MYSELF hehehe. I tried to be really discreet about it though ;) When I was paying the guy was like "You're not going to eat that all by yourself...right?" and I was like "Uhh...of course not." (I was asked the same thing at Nat's New York Pizzeria!) You mean to tell me that people don't eat 9 slices of pizza in one go? ;)
It's like a higher end fresh slice. If you're that sophisticated uptight pizza snob looking for only the finest of the fine, this is the place for you. Jokes aside this place is actually quite good! If you're willing to pay and extra buck per slice, you can get some quite unique and delicious pizzas with all kinds of tasty ingredients.
UBC's little slice of Heaven "the Pizza Garden". This place makes an incredible first impression when you are lucky enough to get one of their pie's fresh from the oven... and it will bring you back for more!
I know I'm going to regret writing this later because the Pizza Garden is one of our favourite hidden secrets that few locals know and even fewer on campus have discovered. That said, the guys at Pizza Garden have figured out that making extraordinary pizza at reasonable prices is not rocket science. Their ingredients are always fresh, the crust delicious and the potato pieces a weird however pleasant surprise that adds to their unique formula.
Hello Vancouver, there is a new entrant to the gourmet pizza scene and they are slicing & serving it!
The Blackwolf Navarre
Best pizza at UBC, both price and quality wise. Also much better than the downtown location.
Great slices. Superb thin slice pizza. Lots of good vegetarian choices. Excellent quality toppings, well worth the price.
