I work nearby and ear here a lot. Its ridiculously good. Possibly the best burgers in Vancouver. Super friendly staff. Everything is made fresh. Honestly, I've never been disappointed.
They have the best burger in town. Am the customer since they took over the place.

Food is incredible and the service is amazing!!! I loved it so much!
Delicious burgers and fries. Excellent service with very friendly staff. Always warm and inviting. Great decor; very clean and vibrant. The deserts are amazing as well; not sweet, just delicious. Will always come back to try something new.
Absolutely 5* customer service and amazing food!! Everything tasted so fresh and I was particularly impressed with the poutine!
DELISH burgers and fries - you could taste the freshness and handmade love in every bite! The service was excellent, I don't know how many times our waitress came by to ask if everything was ok or if I needed anything else. The eatery was very clean and I can't wait to come back to try their eggs benny! Fresh food made with love - I've already texted my friends to check this place out...
This is a hidden gem everyone is missing out on! They advertise as "best burger in town" and I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but for the price you pay the food is well worth it. I've been here several times over the last couple of years and I would have come for more if only I didn't work + live so far away. They close around 5pm, which makes sense since they still get a lot of people in for the lunch rush. The burger patties are never dry and well seasoned, both of which are the "must have" qualities of a good burger joint. I would generally recommend their mushroom & swiss cheese burger to try!
I love the burger and crispy fries so much!!:) want to try other stuffs next time. so good!! and service was amazing too!! but the menu is quiet confused. you can always ask to the server about the menu tho. they are going to help you! fabulous!
After being a ding dong writing the name of the restaurant as To Die For, thank the forces it was not that difficult to find To Dine For. A favourite of the people working in that neighbourhood (and most likely the only decent eating establishment on Terminal Avenue), To Dine For offers all sorts of burgers but they seem to be famous for their beef curry.
Fantastic Spot. Holy crap this restaurant makes amazing burgers! I've only tried two - 'Bob's Burger' (a bacon, cheese, mushroom option) and their Peanut Butter and Bacon burger - both were superb. Definitely one of my favourite burger places in the city, I make a point of going here once per week. The service is also very friendly, so that's a plus. Would HIGHLY recommend this place.
Burgerlicious. Amazing burgers!!! I tried 4 or 5 different burgers all great here, however simple is sometimes best! Cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger to die for!!! I think best burger in town! Fries are awesome too. Service too sweet for words! Don't go I don't want to wait in line!!!
Delicious. Fantastic food, from burger to coffee ! They have chosen to use real good food for doing their hamburgers (organic, local), and it is pricy because it is delicious and charming. They support local farmers and high quality ingreditents (hand-made bread, as one of the many examples). Soup is delicious and fresh ! For who wants to compare to usual fast-foods, you are just so wrong. This is a restaurant who elevate burger to real healthy and tasty food, real plates, real drinks, real service. And for that price, this is still cheap.
It really is the best burger!. There is a big sign in the front window that says they have the best burger and ITS TRUE! The TDF burger rocks. The spice sauce they put on it is amazing. The beef is moist and flavorful. The service was great too. I'm going back tomorrow.
This burger came highly recommended. Did not disappoint. Big, juicy, soft bread, even softer patty. Messy trying to eat because of how jammed it is, but it's delicious. I really want to try their other specialty burgers now.
Got the Korean rice bowl. It was delicious. Looking forward to next time.
It was really fantastic for everything. All burgers are made by homemade patty with fresh vegies!!!
Most of all, crispy french fries? awsome...
I've never tasted before...I mean it was really fantastic!
and ...umm...motoroll?? I think its totally good for vegetarian.
Moto roll is fresh mozzarella chesse, basil pesto and cherry tomatoes with black rice rolled in it.
its very unique style roll... plz dont compare with the regular sushi roll...
anyway! I love all TDF MENU :) muuuuuuah!!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Burger!!!. Like another person on here wrote, I created an account here just so I could write a review. YOU MUST TRY THEIR BURGERS!! With every bite (mushroom burger) I couldn't stop commenting to my brother about how good it was. Fresh, homemade, mouth-watering goodness -- I wonder if they bake their own buns too -- so soft and perfect consistency. I can't wait to come back for more!!! Please try them out! I think because they are in a "lower traffic" area, they don't get as much business but trust me it's worth it to go!! I REALLY don't want them to have to pack up shop, not only because the owners are super sweet and wonderful people, but also because I've never had a better burger and I always want to be able to get one here!!!
Very Creative. I had the Korean Kimchi burger and it was quite satisfying. The beef was nice and tender. It was juice as well. Kimchi was not too spicy and was "sour" enough. I didn't have the fried but they were nice and crispy that didn't feel oily. Lacked a little salt but could easily fixed with ketchup. Overall, great experience and would go back again to try the other stuff. Staff was extremely friendly.
Really good. I've seen this place dozens of times before while passing by on the skytrain and I've always thought that perhaps it was a simple sandwich and coffee shop, A friend suggested this restaurant and reading the reviews, I was very eager to try it. The food was able to meet my high expectations - which is a rare feat. Good quality food paired with friendly and polite service. Even though it's not on the menu anymore, I inquired about the 'poutine burger' and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. It was delicious! I especially love the fact that they have an vegetarian gravy that is homemade. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and within walking distance from a skytrain station (very important).
Great night!. I am sure this diner sees enough business during the day, but at night there was just us a group of 10 or so, we had made our way over for a reserved burger feast. Some of us got the Holy Smoke, others the Kimchi. I decided to go with the peanut butter and bacon burger. I one of my companions suggested hot sauce to go with that and I thought it was a good idea. The burgers arrived in a timely fashion followed by lots and lots of napkins!! It was a saucy, crunchy mess...but a delicious one!! Their housecut fries were nice and crunchy, just how I like them. I imagine if I am down this way again I would make an effort to stop here.
Great food and excellent staff. I will definitely return to that amazing place!
Awesome eggs benedict!. Had the blackstone benedict and they were awesome! the fries were exceptionally good! portions were generous. friendly service. definitely will be back for lunch. awesome new place! definitely a hidden gem and would recommend it! gonna try the burgers next time
Highly recommend it!. Just ate there today and brought a friend. both of us werenot disappointed at all. sure, price isn't cheap but neither is the quality. you get your money's worth. she had the bibimbap (mixed rice bowl) and i had the peanut butter bacon cheese burger (delish!). would recommend it to anyone. heads up, lunch time is busy so may want to get there early or order to take-out (we did).
Awesome burger and fries. Offers one of top quality burgers and fries I ever had in long time
portion of meal is quite satisfying too
I recommand to everyone
I made an urban spoon account just so i can write a review for this place. I absolutely love it!
Not many people know about it because theyve only been open for 2 months. Everything on the menu is amazing! I tried the bj burger and the korean rice bowl. Fresh, just the right amount of everything... Delish!!!!
Family run place and the staff is soooo nice. The restaurant is also VERY clean
So clean, so quiet, so tasty, so affordable. After another busy work day, hubby & I longed for comfort food and quiet surroundings. Thanks to high recommendations from friends, we tried To Dine For Eatery. It's easy to find on Terminal Avenue, with easy street parking, and even easier because parking was free. (There's a huge parkade two buildings away so parking would never be a problem.)
I was really impressed with the minimalist decor of two solid coloured vibrant walls, and steel tables and leather chairs. Simple bright matching colours - well thought out - not haphazardly put together. Sitting by the spotless floor to ceiling windows, watching all the students flocking to the international languages night school was our entertainment while awaiting dinner.
Hubby had the Chicken Poutine ($9), and I had the Vegan Chilli ($6). Both hearty helpings, very hot and tasty. Hard to beat those prices for such decent food. The owners surprised us with two complimentary 'deep fried peanut butter and bacon balls' - nice touch.
The varied menu, polite warm service, quiet ambiance and comfortable chairs will have us returning again soon.
New Favourite place to eat. I've gone to "To Dine For" 4 times now and every time I've had something different and every time what I had was AMMAAAAAZING!! The PB burger is my fave but they all are great. I highly recommend this place!
Unique Burgers made from fresh meat. There were a number of different burger choices to choose from. We decided beforehand what we were going to order so it made it easier. They tweak their menu a bit every week, I think, and they also have different specials everyday. We went today and it was a dollar off all the burgers. An order of burger also includes either fries or salad.
PB and Bacon - It works! Sounds weird but it actually tasted good with the sweet taste that the PB brings to it. The consistency of the peanut butter was perfect - if it was too thick it would be too filling. The bacon were chopped up pieces. I would preferred it less crunchy.
The Poutine - We loved the mushroom gravy. There was a generous amount of cheddar in it. Nice combination with gravy smothered fries inside the burger. You can taste the patties were not those frozen ones bought from stores. We even saw a guy deliver bags of fresh beef while we were there. Although, we did find that the patties fell apart too easily.
This is a family-run restaurant. Service is good. Lots of tables. Would def. return and try the other burgers. The T.E.D. burger is next on my list to try.
We found the place on urban spoon. The location was a little weird but we thought we would try it out. Soooooo good! Our food ranged from a grilled cheese sandwich to a beef burger, the TED (thanksgiving every day) too a traditional dish. We were all over the moon impressed with the food! Delish. The service was impeccable. The chef came out several times to check on us and even brought my little girl a treat. Felt like family! I will be back and I will bring my peeps.
Found awesome burgers in Vancouver. Was amazing taste ive ever tasted, :D
All most everything is "House made products' except ketchup lol,
people work there were sooooo nice that I felt like I was treated like their family
you can enjoy fabulous interiors with the burgers,
must visit place I recommend!!
The Best Burger!!. I love it!!!
You should visit there and eat!!!
WoW!!
I’m always intrigued by what gives restaurants such high ratings on Urbanspoon and with 92% at the time of this post, To Dine For Eatery is a great candidate for this task. Do the burgers come out fluffy and filling or bland and soggy? Read on to find out.
To Dine For Eatery is located on Terminal Avenue a few blocks away from Main Street Skytrain. I came here with a few coworkers as we were in a meeting close by. Surprisingly, its Korean-owned and they have a few unique items on their menu besides burgers like BiBimbap and some rice dishes. As you can tell from the menu, it’s mostly sandwich, soup, burgers, curry, and rice bowls. The prices for lunch are around $10 – $15. Korean Kimchi Burger ($13.95) has an 6oz homemade patty with kimchi, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and a special sauce inside the brioche bun. Instead of fries, I got salad on the side. It’s a pretty good burger. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavour. Overall, we like what we had for lunch and was not disappointed. I would come here again. We Rate To Dine For Eatery : Address: 333 Terminal Ave Vancouver, BC More food reviews on Foodology .
