Third time back and it just keeps on getting better here. Asian fusion done right with a solid cocktail menu that have a wide range for all palate. Food was on point and flavorful. Even the simplest dish of potatoes was delicious with a truffle sauce to dip. Not a great place for vegan eaters as we had one person that left a little hungry. Overall, will be again again as the menu do change often and keeps it interesting.

Torafukus flavor combinations are so perfectly balanced and unique, I was enthralled by every new dish that came to our table. We got the spring tasting menu with duck and it did not disappoint. From the plating to the flavors, everything was excellent. I would definitely come back to try their tasting menus every time I am back in Vancouver.

We had the tasting menu and loved it !! Very reasonably priced and great variety and portion sizes. Dessert was to die for. Fish was high quality and delicious. Ambiance cute. Service great.

It was a great experience, service was great! I would recommend this as a spot to chat for a group of 2 🤠I was there for a dine out Vancouver. And the dishes surprised my taste buds on many of the dishes. It was a nice early dinner. I very enjoyable pan-asian

I've been to Torafuku twice now. Always a pleasant experience going here. They always have a fun twist with their menu! Everything is really flavourful and unique and the staff is super nice. The restaurant is really accessible - a 5 minute walk from Main Street Science World.
I went during their Dine-Out Vancouver period and they had a good selection of different dishes - so they have something for everyone's taste. My favourite dishes were the chicken wings, crispy rice w/ salmon crudo and brussels sprouts. Their drink selection was also really creative and fresh - they had fun flavours like buko pandan and yuzu!
Also, if you are ever here I really recommend their basque cheesecake - it's actually really really really great :)

I went there for dinner with couple of friends during the weekdays. We’ve noticed there were a group of Instagram influencers doing some tasting menu.
We’d ordered three appetizers and three main dishes. The scallops and chicken wings came served 10-15 mins after we ordered.
The rest of dishes came 30 mins later!
Other tables were waiting for their food as well except that group of influencers.
The food was great however the portion is quite small.
My friends and I enjoyed the cocktails. But I don’t think it’s worth to go back again.

Amazing little restaurant by Science World. First, the service was awesome. All of the staff were warm and friendly, service was prompt and thorough. They checked on us multiple times, answered all of our questions with kindess. Ambiant lighting, and the kitchen in full view added to atmosphere. The whole space, including bathrooms were really clean! The unique share plates were a nice touch as well. Came here for Dine Out, and the food was spectacular. Interesting yet tasty takes on asian flavours with a great attention to detail and technique. I liked the white chocolate ganache and the magic mushroom bowl the most, but it was all good! I plan on going back.

Went for the Fall Omakaze. It was excellent. By far the best dish was the Brussels sprouts. I've never had such a great veg dish in my life.
*UPDATE* Went again for the spring tasting menu. It was another amazing dinner. This time, the fois gras was the clear winner, followed by the fingerling potatoes.

Though the staff is super duper nice, when I first got to the restaurant it took a long time for my server to take my order. There was also a bit of a gap between appetizer and entree, but the food totally made up for it. Everything I ordered, from drinks to dessert, was incredible! Still obsessing over The Unicorn - came very close to licking my plate. Would recommend Torafuku to any of my friends visiting Vancouver!

We had the 7 ? course tasting menu. There were so many dishes I lost count. Each dish was full of tasty flavors. I highly recommend dinner here. The only negative is the lack of finished interior. Floor is concrete that looks unfinished. I would return definitely as the food is awesome! Service was as well.

Went and tried the dine out menu for this place and I have to say the food was excellent. The kare kare beef was very tender and done perfectly. The only thing that prevented me from giving this review 5 stars was the fact a group of 4 right beside my wife and I got their main course first even though they came in and ordered a good 20 minutes after us (they had ordered the same main course as we did). The waitress told us our orders would come right after, but after over 20 minutes of waiting, our main courses still had not arrived. Luckily, the waitress caught on and offered my wife and I, a round of beers on the house (we had just finished our first round) and give us great service for the rest of the night. However, part of eating out is not just about the food, but also the dining experience and although I give full marks to the waitress for trying to make it right, I still have a slight "bitter after taste" for the miscue there. BUT, the effort to make amends on the part of the waitress and the quality of the food is enough to warrant another visit and I will most likely refer my friends and family to try this place out. I hope the manager/owner reads this and acknowledge our waitress for the sincere effort. Cheers!

For only having been open a few weeks, the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The one and only downside was that food came out pretty slowly. The pacing is fine if you're looking for a relaxing night, but if you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend Torafuku at this time. Maybe the pacing will get better in time. Despite that, I still highly recommend Torafuku! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

My new favorite restaurant. Food is pretty sexy, eclectic, surreal, artistic and tasty, it's like magic in your mouth. Gorgeous cocktails, the bartender is fantastic, staff really easy going, very good service. Atmosphere is terrific. I surely will return. #Superlike

Food was good and atmosphere fun, but what killed it was the service. Brash, rushed, unfriendly and the whole time felt like we were part of an assembly line that was being processed with the end goal being a paid bill and getting out the door.
