Dammmmn! How I lived in Vancouver for so long and just now tried Nando’s for the first time. Better late than never. Orders the half chicken extra hot with a side of peri peri fries! A great meal and a good price. Will definitely be coming back for a full chicken next time.

📍Nando's is a South African multinational fast food chain that specialises in flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken. Founded in Johannesburg in 1987, Nando's operates over 1,200 outlets in 30 countries.
❗️ Don’t expect much from the restaurant for dining in as its more like a fast food restaurant. Just enjoy the freshness of food there.
✅ Recommendations:
- Peri-Peri Chicken (Plain…ish)
- Veggie Sandwich ( Medium hot)
- Brussels Sprouts
- Peri-fries (its a little salty)
- Garlic Bread
* I don’t recommend « lemon & herb » & « Mango & Lime) for Peri-Peri chicken as it makes the chicken juicy.
** Peri-Peri chicken is already marinated in hot sauce and delicious enough. If you wanna go harder, medium is ideal.
*** Veggie sandwich is super delicious and even medium hot is too hot.
**** Fries is really good and its Peri-fries is not that hoy, yet salty.
***** Brussels Sprouts is a must-try here.
****** Garlic bread is surprisingly tasty and crunchy.

Ordered off uber eats. Peri fries just had seasoning covered on the top. Buy 1 coke get 1 free and order came with 0 cokes. Ordered a chicken ceaser wrap; and it had some random salad dressing, cucumber and tomatoes. This was brutal.

Possibly our 10th visit to this place. The staff is very friendly and offcourse the chicken is great. We always take the Extra hot sauce chicken, with a side or garlic bread and rice. The cook possibly knows by now how we request it to be extra saucy even though we do get a side of just the sauce too. He just makes it perfect! This Friday evening, it was a bit later than dinner time. We were the only one pair to dine in, and then it poured with people. We ordered and took a seat, the server mentioned that their was a slight issue in out bill and we paid a few bucks extra, so they will compensate with a dessert. They gave us naughty natas (Portuguese custard tart), and it was amazing, we never had that before. As always, love Nandos, amazing chicken and great service.

Love the flavour of the flame grilled chicken. Nothing beats it along w the kick of spicy peri peri sauce. I like ending my meal with the egg tart. So yummy. Thank you.

small size even smaller portion of chincken in the inside. Couldnt get the mangoe flavor only bottle like lemon taste. ceasar salad good tho... and service nice.

First time we ordered at this restaurant from doordash. We ordered the Classic at $36.62 and we are sold! It was very fast and quick. Food was still hot. Chicken was so yummy, fries are tasty and garlic bread was good too. It’s too much for two person!
Will definitely order again soon.

It was my second time having Nando’s. I had chickens with my friends on the first time. My boyfriend and I went downtown on the weekend. We had a chicken sandwich, vegetarian pita, and three chicken wings at Nando’s. The Chicken Sandwich served with fresh, crispy leaf lettuce, tomato and PERi-naise on a freshly baked Portuguese bun. The Chicken Sandwich tasted awesome. The Vegetarian Pita thing was OK. It’s just Vegetable in the pita without the special pita sauce. Nothing is excited about it. We also ordered 3 Whole Flame-Grilled Wings. They were decent and well cooked. We ordered the food at the front desk. Then, the server brought the food to our table. The food came fast. The servers were friendly there. It was a great experience to try sandwiches at Nando’s.

The three of us ordered the Variety pack $29.25 which comes with half a chicken, 5 whole wings, and 2 skewers and 2 regular sides. For the wings, we chose plain (non-spicy). Skewers medium. Half chicken was lemon herbs. For the sides, veggies and potato wedges. I like the skewers the best. Super juicy and tender. Wings were burnt and dry with very little meat to eat. Otherwise, the rest was pretty good. The wedges were crispy and tasty.

I don't know how many times I came here fr the rice and grilled chicken. Food was excellent. Loved the hot sauce. Chicken was cooked perfect with the nice grill taste and juicy. Rice was another favorite.

4/5 I without fail pretty much always get this burger because rarely is there a place where I can get Halloumi. Halloumi is a very soft, not very distinctive cheese, tastes kind of like mozzarella but softer. I thought this burger was pretty good as always, and the fries were ace. . Busyness - medium. I had this with water and it was fine. Dandy. The fries were a tad on the saltier side but the cajun spices were great.

Visited this location a couple times in recent times.<br/><br/>Strangely enough, the girl asked us if we wanted water (we did) then never came back to give us water, which was kind of funny. They always have glasses of water if you ask at the counter. <br/><br/>I got the chicken burger (Medium spice) and it was very spicy and delicious. Their bread has a lot of chew, a LOT of chew. The (Saffron?) spiced rice was good as well. The service wasn't the quickest but they are quite busy most of the time. Would come back.

As wonderful as it was when it became a favorite of mine in London. Phenomenal tastes. Peri Peri chips wonderful as always. My only reservation was that there were no free refills and ice, like at UK locations.

Always one of the best! The chicken is delicious! Peri peri sauce is amazing. If you are not into spicy chicken, you can always ask the staff to make it non spicy.

If you want <br/>- overcooked chicken that requires a lot of sauce to revive it <br/>- Oily greasy "grilled" vegies<br/>- Yummy potato wedges<br/>then this is the place for you. The premade packaged sauces are decent however. I live a block from this specific location and will complain about the nasty smog this restaurant emits on the side of the building.

Decent food! Some things are better than others (vegetables are a disappointment) but overall a fun and nice place to eat. Good selections, good portions, and good prices for everything. Also the food comes out very fast.

Nice atmosphere, good service, excellent food. I've been here multiple times for dinner and the food is always outstanding. The portions are large and the chicken is always grilled to perfection. The service is fast and the wait staff are always checking up on you. <br/><br/>I've been to other Nando's locations, but this restaurant definitely tops them all!

Huge portions, amazing food. Visited the Nando's grilled chicken for the dine out vancouver festival. Did not disappoint at all! Comes with wine pairing and huge food portions. The chicken breast and kabob dish was truly outstanding. Lots of meat and left very full. The coconut and mango ice cream is a MUST!! Services was great, server always ensured that we were enjoying our food. Make sure to make reservations!!! The wait can be up to 30 mins long!

Best chicken place! hands down!. This is by far the best chicken place in Vancouver hand down. Don't even bother going anywhere else. The sauce is awesome, attention is perfect and everything is ultra fresh. The owner is a cool guy and knows how to grill a great chicken. He doesn't have any fancy signs or catchy advertising like "chicken" places. The chicken sells it self. try it. i promise you wont regret it!!

Pricing here is same as other stores. The other comment is incorrect---new menu boards went up late 2013. Some menu items were added, some deleted. The manager told me pricing of some of the items was adjusted to reflect higher food costs. Most menu items did not change in price. The last menu board and pricing change was well over two years earlier, i was told.

...my friend really wanted to go to Nando's. I agreed because I've never had Nando's, (what kind of foodie am I.. ) and I heard all positive things about them, so why not? (plus they were rated the best $18 menu last year or the year before.) This year's Dine Out Menu Hungry and Tired, 4 girls bused from UBC all the way to Davie, and ran in the pouring rain with heels and business formal attire... just to get Nando's? yeah we are crazy like that, but hey!

Flame-broiled chicken from Nando’s with side of Spiced Rice. There are five heat levels to choose from. I chose the ‘Hot’ level (4th out of 5). It’s pretty hot, spicy, and flavorful. The chicken meat was tender and juicy. Really nice. There are additional hot sauce on the table just in case we wanted even more heat. For me I think I can for the Extra Hot level next time. Definitely will be back.
