I went to this bakery just for a croissant and the Manager there oversold me some pastries but that was worth it. I really loved Orange chocolate scone and cute Kouign aman. Highly recommend this local organic bakery.

Their butter croissant is so crispy and flaky on the outside that when you bite into it, it literally shatters into flakes that fall all over the table! No exaggeration. Quite tasty and pretty perfect croissant.
They also have a housemade ginger ale that is quite refreshing. Worth trying if you are craving baked goods while visiting Granville Island.

An artisan bakery specializing in pastries (both savory as well as desserts), breads, rolls and plenty of sandwiches.
The blueberry scone and pastry with hazelnut cream and drizzled with lots of chocolate were fresh, well made, very tasty and unique.
We were back 2 hours later to buy a few savory items that we saw but they were already sold out. If you see an item that you liked, buy it since it might be gone if you'LL look for it later...

It took an out of town houseguest of my roommate to remind me just how damn good the desserts are here. I'm re-hooked. And I've bought a lot of that tasty bread in the past. Dangerous that it's under a 10 minute walk from my house. 😂 Sorry, the photos are of slightly smooshed but still exceedingly delicious pastries as I was on my bike.

Very good baked goods. I have had their ham and swiss cheese croissant and it was delicious.(and it was good size) I went there around 1 to 2 pm on Wednesday and most of the sandwiches and wraps were already sold out. I would definitely love to try more items for sure!

Called ahead and they put aside a loaf of The Birds & The Bees, and one of the Nooner. Lots of yummy items in/on the display, and also some local jams. Very nice and happy service. They do offer to slice.
Both breads were easy to slice at home. They had tender crusts. The Birds & The Bees had grains on top but also throughout the bread which gave it good texture. Nice shape too. I liked that one with just butter to bring out the sweetness. The Nooner was a traditional loaf shape. It was good with olive oil/vinegar and for sandwiches. Both loaves were light in taste for me. Will be back to try the sweet snacks.

The best place to buy bread! They have great organic pastry, bakery, bread, coffee.. absolutely everything I've tried is delicious 😋. My favorites are banana bread pudding and almond croissant which are a most, but cookies, croissant, sourdough are also delicious.

Got the “Turkey in a Dress” sandwich when visiting this location at Granville Island. One of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The bread was so fresh it practically melted in your mouth. So good.

I am on Granville Island frequently, usually to show off the area to visiting friends and family, and I always make a stop at A Bread Affair. They are my favourite artisan bakery and have the best sandwiches in Vancouver BY FAR. They have great vegetarian options and everything is non-GMO and organic - win, win, and win. For all you veggie lovers out there, I highly recommend the brie and avocado sandwich with some "best freakin' peanut butter awesomeness" cookies on the side.

I had a strawberry ice cream sandwich and brought home a better than sex brownie and a cheese croissant. They were all delicious and the service was outstanding. They were knowledgeable and made great recommendations.

The absolute best breads I have ever eaten! I love the Three's Company Bread and the Flat bread is beyond delicious. I use the flat bread to make pizzas..... it is so good! My kids go crazy when I make them. It takes like 3 minutes to make and way more healthy than store bought garbage pizza! I only wish we could get the flat bread here on the Sunshine Coast! <3

Incredibl bread. Worth every penny. And if you get a chance to visit their Granville Island location in person grab a cookie or a sandwich. Their baked goods are just as fabulous as their bread!

Amazing bakery!!! My husband and I stumbled upon A Bread Affair on a Saturday stroll and we can't stop going back! Our must-haves are the better than sex brownie (I want one now!), double baked croissant, lemon scones and the brioche loaf...I could list more but those are a good starting point. They are also organic and non-gmo - perfect combination! YUM
