I've been to Mott 32 in Vegas so I know what to expect but the price still shocked me. Peking duck is a must order but because you have to order it one day ahead makes it very inconvenient. The duck fried rice (optional addon) is way too expensive but at least it's good (albeit a little oily). The smoked sea bass should be avoided because the taste doesn't match the price. The lobster mapo tofu is interesting and a new take on mapo tofu so I'd recommend trying it. The black pepper beef is not worth ordering either due to being quite plain. Overall it's a good restaurant with some creativity but a little expensive but probably should be expected.

A great place for fine dining chinese food. I suggest preordering the peking duck. It was worth the experience. Everything is prepared with extra care and attention. Though our fish course took the longest to arrive we were happy with the service

The food is ridiculously good!! There's isn't one thing that we've eaten here that I wouldn't rave about. The presentation of the food/drinks, ambience/decor, and the service are totally on point!
As many other reviewers have noted, the amount of time that you will wait for food and drinks will be very long. However, we knew that ahead of going there, and therefore expected it (hence still giving a 5 star rating).
The menu is designed in a way that you will order multiple dishes, and based on that, they need to find a way to space out/time the dishes that take less time to prepare and get those out to tables first... just so that guests don't sit there for an hour with no food, and then get hit with back to back dishes before finishing the one prior.
Timing is everything and definitely contributes to the overall dining experience - so that would be my only critique. But then again, the food is just SO good that it's still worth the wait.

we had made reservation in advance with an order of the Apple Wood duck. Prior to food ordering we were told it'll take 45 mins for the duck to be ready - which is ok, understanding that the duck will need to be served right. We ordered 7 other dishes, with the appetizer (BBQ Pluma pork) came within minutes.
Since then every other dish comes in 15-20 minutes apart, with the Apple Wood duck came 2nd last (yes it came way beyond the noted 45 minutes) and its associated duck fried rice 40 minutes after - the food is delicious and the server offers continual follow up, unfortunately the wait time really outwrites the food experience, despite the server offers us complimentary dessert.
Sidenote: Since the Trump hotel has been closed, parking becomes an issue for this place. We had to walk around the block back in the alley and call for gate access clearance to get back into the parkade. Probably a good exercise if weather is permitting but when it's freezing cold / wet out there, it puts a huge *minus* to this venue.

Impressive food and decor, however, service was not up to par. 30 min early for our anniversary dinner and ordered two drinks while waiting. The drinks never arrived in that 30 min, we had to reorder. We had the Applewood duck and some dumplings, hats off to the cooks. However, we also ordered seafood rice and it never arrived. Being that we were so full, it didn't really matter, until we see its still on the bill... Sorry Mott 32, you cannot be 5 star without 5 star service.

Exotic upscale room with attentive service.
We enjoyed the scallop dish very much as well as the black cod. It's maybe best to come as a group as the dishes are family style.
Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

One of the better bejing duck in the area. The duck fry rice was very well done and tasty.

First off I don't normally write reviews unless the restaurant is not good.
Visual the restaurant looks amazing, customer service is great but the kitchen was not so great & front staff.
We pre ordered 3 ducks ( minium ) but the restaurant forgot about us and gave us one duck that took 40+ mins long to get to us.
When we ordered a bunch of appetizers & entrees
It came in 20mins but the portions were tiny everything looked like appetizers.
In the end our resos were at 730pm and ended at 11pm feeling hungry and now I'm going to get a burger to enjoy.
Would I come back probably not because I felt like I paid $100+ for nothing.

Not your normal run of Chinese food. Some waiters can't speak Chinese. It's more like fusion Chinese food. The roast pork was very good. Quail egg siao mai was unique. Scallop fried rice was tasty. Best was mince pork gailan. Special mention for dark smoked black cod...yummy!!!
But very expensive place.
My host's business was manufacturing of the paper whereupon the Renminbi is printed. I wondered why i was invited!
Her current interests weren't anything to shake a stick at!

It was a pleasure to watch the busy and coordinated guys in the open kitchen and what they sent to the tables tasted so good. The service was ok, but far away from making me excited. Maybe you meet a very special sanitary situation at the 3 bisexual restrooms. A permanent maid could be helpful. The follow-up of serving the different courses was not very successful. Topping the sound level of a crowd of so many guests with a hard techno beat will not be helpful to lower your stress hormons.

Expensive but not that worthwhile. Washroom is bisexual, seldom to find elsewhere. Food was just normal and without big surprise.

So delicious! It's in a whole other dimsum ball park!
