Review 6 Degrees Eatery - Vancouver

4 of us travelling from the UK stopped for breakfast here. Staff helped with Gluten Free options and all good was really good. Kale salad was really good! Really enjoyed the coffee too

Went in for Brunch with some friends. Beautiful location. Clean and well kept. Friendly and super welcoming staff. Has a very nice ambiance. The prices are decent for Downtown Vancouver. Great service. I would highly recommend 6 Degrees for Breakfast or Brunch.

Really well located cute cafe with limited but great breakfast food. All the eggs benedict variants were a hit! The roast potatoes and the salad on the side was so bomb. Great selection of mimosa flavours available as well. I really enjoyed the lychee flavoured one. The berry muffin is a must try.

Totally recommended if you are looking for a comfortable place with great service this is the place! Despite having little staff and many clients, all the service are very friendly, excellent experience for my friends and for me with pleasure we return, we had to stand in line for a while but it is totally worth the wait the food looks the same as the photo with great flavor not to mention the delicious pastries! We were in the mood for a mimosa but we will be back for it!

Lovely view of the harbour and lovely food! I came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by how not touristy and not busy it was. You place your food order at the cashier and then can enjoy your time sipping on coffee while you wait for your food to arrive. The breakfast was tasty, good sized portions and fresh. The coffee (I had the Americano) was delicious! Woke me right up. Highly recommend :)

Inside was stinky because of eggs, Not bearable for us. Outside has a nice view. Food is delicious. Not a big portion comparing to the same price in other places.

Cozy eastery open on Christmas day. The wait was long and the lines were outside the restaurant on a cold snowy day. We started with a latte and green tea and had the Magic Mushrooms for breakfast. It is local foraged mushrooms benedict served on a toasted muffin with poched egg cooked to our liking and a side of roasted baby potatoes and kale salad. The meal is very filling and delicious.

I experienced very pleasant time there. I have ordered Mushroom lovers it was fantastic, we had to wait in the line up around 20 min and 25 min for the breakfast to be ready though. But the view was great and we enjoyed waiting.

I went to meet a group of my friends there for lunch, coffee, desert, etc... We received lovely service and had a great visit. We also requested warm water on the side of everything we had ordered. At the end when we received our bill, we noticed that we had been charged for the hot water which we usually don't get charged for. One of my friends mentioned this to our server and she took the charge off the bill. This was not a big deal and it was nice that our server took the charge off. Up to now, all was fine. As we were leaving and were halfway out the door, the owner followed us out and with a horrible attitude said to us "With all due respect ladies, don't ever come back here again". This came as a shock to us all as we didn't do anything wrong or request anything strange. It's not like we sat there and only drank hot water and demanded a zero balance on the bill. This whole experience seems so ridiculous yet it affected all of us in a very negative way. Why would an owner treat his customer so rudely and arrogantly? Customers who's total value of bills were above average. His poor attitude, the lack of class and respect is unacceptable and uncalled for. As a woman, I was treated so poorly and condescending that I will never go there or refer this place to anyone. In this day and age, there are so many cool and hip places to go enjoy lunch, or just a cup of coffee while being treated with respect that I won't miss this place. My whole point of this review is to advise others about how the owner of 6 degrees eatery treats some of his clients. Is it prodigious behaviour? Discrimination towards a specific group of people? I sure hope not. I definitely don't recommend this place, and highly suggest you don't even bother with this place.

In Vancouver for a conference I was walking by the waterfront hoping to find a little place to get a pastry, good coffee, and maybe some lunch. I stopped in and ordered a cappuccino, chocolate croissant, and the grilled salmon bagel. I got my drink and croissant quickly but apparently there was an oversight somewhere along the line and after about a half hour I still hadn't gotten the rest of my food. One of the lovely servers came over to check on me and I told her I was still waiting for my food. It was prepared quickly and I received several apologies as well as a refund. I wasn't in a rush and though I was a little annoyed, I understand that these things happen and really appreciated that I was issued a refund even though I didn't ask for one. The food was amazing, and it was a lovely little place with a great view. Thank you to the entire staff, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

Best little Eatery I've been to, a must to stop in whenever I make it over from the Island. Ian is the best! Most gracious and cheeky person to have met :) I love the atmosphere of 6 Degrees, great cozy place for tapas and wine, with water views.

Good location and pricing was normal for the tourist area. Great music and food was cafe food - had oatmeal & breakfast wrap and inquired about cream for my oatmeal & was given creamers? Should have more options for the porridge.

Stop in while visiting Vancouver. Great place to relax, have a drink and a bite to eat. The staff was super friendly, and the libations were tasty. I wish I had this type of neighborhood gathering spot where I live.

We are so impressed with this treat of a place! We’ve (unintentionally) walked by it multiple times while heading to our usual restaurants, but one day last November we decided to stop in for coffee. We loved the decor and ambience so much that we went back the next day for breakfast. What a gem this eatery is; not only is the atmosphere aesthetically pleasing and the menu reasonably priced, but the food is, of course, delicious...and always presented beautifully - like a work of art (see picture). We shared our thoughts with one of the owners (Ian), and along with being gracious and kind, it is clear that he is a true professional who takes great care and pride in creating a very high quality experience for his guests. 6 Degrees Eatery is a delight in every way and we continue to look forward to each visit there. Here is a picture of one of their beautiful and delicious cappuccinos:

You probably don't deserve anything as good as their truffled mac n cheese with ham, but they'll still let you order it anyway. How great is that?
