Review Frankie's Italian Kitchen & Bar Vancouver - Vancouver

Went here for my gf's graduation and this place was amazing. I have always walked by it and dismissed it because it was "part" of the hotel. Well I was wrong. You NEED to go here ASAP. Our server was amazing/funny/attentive. The food was amazingly delicious. the drinks were great, the vibe was amazing. Their dine out menu was perfect. OMG their scallops is TO DIE FOR! OK enough ranting, should you go to this place, definitely!!

Excellent venue, great music and the atmosphere is really just warm and inviting. The staff was very cheerful and attentive. I highly recommend their tiramisu. They have big tables also, they could accommodate our group of 10 with no problem in just one.

I’ve been to many other Italian restaurants before but this place is by far my favourite Italian Restaurant.🤍🤍🤍 They make everything from scratch and you can tell in taste and in everything. Just simply amazing! The staffs were very friendly and accommodating, love the ambiance, very elegant as it’s not loud from kitchen noise. Oh! I didn’t have a picture of their dessert but we ordered chocolate torte to go….The deliciousness spreads in your mouth - that good.😋

We stayed at the hotel while in the city for a Lions Game. I expected this restaurant to be a typical pasta and meatball joint. BOY was I wrong!! This is one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at. Each dish was absolutely perfect and had beautiful flavour. The service was top notch.. from bartenders to hosts and servers. I recommend the lamb. Absolutely Devine . We will be back and it is largely to experience more dishes from this Gem!!

Not as good as I expected. All foods were super salty, except beef carpaccio - which was mixed with some strange sauce that not tasty to me, I prefer the traditional vinegar. Seafood is not very fresh, at least a couple mussels were dead before cooking & with terrible smells, but scallop was very well cooked, strange thing, it seems they have some problems on quality control. Calamari is not bad indeed, but also has salt problem, maybe they want to sale more drinks? Not acceptable to me anyway. We have waited for about 15 minutes till somebody brought water to us, who was very unfamiliar with the menu and had to ask others for our questions. Not a very happy experience and I would like to give 2.5/5 but not 3 if possible.

Hotel hopping and ended up here. Got lucky since reserved wine bottles were half off. Server was friendly and recommend a good wine option. For food we got risotto fungi and Veg pizza. Risotto was amazing. Would surely be back to Try out more options and deserts.

Not bad. Didn't have reservations, but they got us in, in about 30mins or less. Service was pretty good, nothing to rave about. Ordered the beef carpaccio to start, it was pretty good. Then we had the chicken Linguine and lamb shank. The Linguine had A LOT of rosemary, that was the dominate flavor of the dish. A little too dominate for our liking, especially when that's all you could really taste. The lamb shank was good, along with the risotto. Got the chocolate torte to go and it wasn't bad. Wished it would have been a little creamier/smoother.

We spent a week in Vancouver this past summer and this was one of our favourite places to eat! We even ate here twice! First off, this restaurant is beautiful from the moment you step in. The meatballs and risotto balls are unbelievably delicious, and so we’re all 4 main dishes we tried. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming although being quite busy and understaffed.

Must be new owners. Really disappointed. Have come here for years and the Arancini was always mouth water, this time it had no flavour. Other table offered bread, we had to ask. Seafood linguini was ok, the lobster was gross and rubbery but the other seafood was ok. Slow slow service. Ordered cheese plate and wine, wine came 30 minutes after cheese plate. We were told the bar was really backed up. It's a Saturday night (early 5:30PM in Vancouver!) Anytime we politely said this, waitress with no emotion said so sorry and walked away. First time bringing my Italian husband and he couldn't understand why I loved this place so much. Other servers looked pleasant, ours was a mix of no personality and miserable. It's always interesting when you ask for a dessert menu which has no ice cream or gelato on it, and then you hear the server next to you give the menu and tell them there is also ice cream and gelato available. In not one to expect good for free, but am used to servers or managers offering to somehow make the meal better...something else to eat, a dessert on the house or the item half price or on the house. I'm more upset about the lack of concern. Our bill was $160, and I can get better service at Starbucks. Gnocchi was good. Will not be returning.

Very good experience. I was hesitant to book a reservation at a place in a hotel lobby, but the location was good and there were tables available at the last minute so we decided to give it a try. We visited for dinner before an event at Rogers Arena. Our server asked if we were going to the game and made sure everything went quickly to meet our timeline. She made good suggestions on food choices. The caprese salad was amazing. The green salads were great and those that had soup really enjoyed it. The pasta dishes were unique and delicious. The environment was nice, not too loud and not too dark, but still intimate. All four in our party enjoyed everything about the experience. Nothing about the meal, service, or experience was anything less than enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

We were there for the Dine Out Vancouver menu. Food was great except for every other table got served bread before their meals but not us! I asked our server if it should have been served automatically, she says it's not because the Dine Out menu is already a lot of food and therefore, not everyone would want bread before their meals. Then I said but we were not even asked or being offered to have bread. She again insisted that the Dine Out menu is alot of food and therefore, it's not a common practice unless the customers ask. I felt that her answer was sorta lame and in a way, insulting. I really wonder those tables who received bread, if they had to "ask" or were served automatically?!? We felt that only because we ordered from that Dine Out menu, we were being treated differently or something. We ordered a bottle of wine and had all the extra add-ons ordered including dessert. Our bill came to $200 total for four coming from a $28 set menu!

We went as a party of four before the Neil Diamond concert. The service was super slow and the food was not great . Our seafood linguini had rawish mussels that we couldn't eat, the veal parm was loaded with chedder cheese and not great. had to re order our drinks three times because they forgot . I was embarrassed because I had made the dinner reservations for us ....not good

Nice place, good atmosphere, upper-scale for Chilliwack. Food has been great every time but portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Pretty expensive for pasta. Expect to order an appetizer or you'll be leaving hungry! Great for a date night but we haven't eaten there in close to two years because of the meal sizes.

First time here, my parents and I were looking for a place to have lunch before Cirque Du Soleil. Had the Marsala Chicken, it was delicious! Super moist and the sauce was awesome. Waiter was friendly, food came in a reasonable amount of time. Would come again!
