Disappointed.I ordered two chicken two halibut as entree.Chicken were over cooked, dry and bland.Seasoning of the Halibut just nothing special, and one halibut was also over cooked. I would give one star to their chicken & fish entree based on my last experience. I put three stars just for their gorgeous appetizers ( as well as the daily special free dish from chef’s choice) and amazing cheesecake dessert.

The interior design is modern and it's a good place for family/friends or even business gathering.
Their service is good. The staff there are nice.
Beef tartare is good and the portion is quite big compare with another appetiser mussels.
However, one thing is really disappointed... the main course is not really hot enough. It's like placing our for a while before serving to us.
Not only is, even our neighbours table also complain about it...
Hope it's not their usual practice and will look forward they will have a better temperature before our next visit.

This restaurant is placed in Gastown, the place looks very good and uniquely furnished. Staff is really cordial and professional. I've chosen the 6 courses taste menu, every single has been explained from the staff the help distinguish every single flavor in it.
everything was delicious. The price is aligned with the service and the quality. It's really worth it!

Went there last night with my wife. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was absolutely amazing. The wine was quite good. The service was ok. We liked the decor but noted that the atmosphere is a bit on the cold side - befitting the Bauhaus style.

This restaurant aced 3 major points for dining out for me. Service, food, and creativity! Fine European cuisine that is served up in a beautiful space located on edge of trendy Gastown. The service is fantastic, these are true professionals with in depth knowledge of the dishes and the wine pairings. The chef celebrated local produce in his creations. Try the Veal Tongue, the Cold Cucumber Soup, and the Cauliflower dish for some things done absolutely new to Vancouver restaurants. I wrote a full review, check it out if you like longer reads.

This is a great modern German restaurant in Gastown. I heard great things about their Wiener Schnitzel and went here specifically to try it out. The ambiance is very open and inviting. The German beer selection is very good. They were able to accommodate my food allergies quite easily. The chef even sent out a complimentary small appetizer. It was very tasty. The Wiener Schnitzel was excellent. The sorbet was a great choice as a dessert. I definitely recommend this place!!

Recommend going for its tasting menu. It has a 4 course option and a more dynamic 6 course one. Creative menu, each dishes with a guaranteed range of flavours, and intriguing combination that creates a nice craving and a lingering finish. The wine pairing is creative as well, using hard to trod upon Romanian and Italian wines. The wine lovers should try; while those with a particular palate may want to order a la carte bottle. Fresh ingredients, creative composition, attentive staffs, nice ambience - we would come back again!

Either you are visiting Vancouver or you are living in our beautiful city, you gotta make time to enjoy dinner at Bauhaus Restaurant and record some sweet memories for eternity.
Is not unusual to meet and talk with the owner Uwe Boll and sense the passion for excellence and sublime cuisine in his voice.
Once again ... the food mixes the art of cooking with the art of decorating a plate to pleasantly surprise the guests.

One of the best restaurants I have EVER been too. I started out with the white asparagus soup that felt like a warm hug when I had every spoonful then my main course was the halibut with the cheese spaetzle, my mind was blown. If you have the opportunity to come here I highly recommend it. This place deserves its michelin star for the food and service.

I had the pleasure of taking my friend to Bauhaus yesterday for dinner. It was the first night out for her since having her child. I wanted for it to be a special night for her. When I told her where we were headed for dinner she was very apprehensive about my choice. However, the look on her face when she put the first bite into her mouth was perfect. She was in bliss. My friend had said it was the best food she had ever eaten. We left completely satisfied with every aspect of our dining experiance. The food and cocktails were impeccable and the service was just the same. I would definitely return.

This was the first time trying Bauhaus and was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and service was awesome! One of the coolest things I liked about the restaurant is how everyone worked together. You have a main server but all servers help each other out. This model is so nice to see!
