I was searching for a nice and romantic dinner for my Vancouver trip. Five sails were spectacular. The check choice menu is pretty good and inclusive, in my opinion. We were lucky and got a seat right next to the window. However, one unique thing about this place is the tables with love seats for couples to enjoy the view. I highly recommend this place and it's a must-go.

The service was outstanding, and the view is definitely worth it. The menu was good but I’d give it 4/5 for the price ($75pp), the only reason being that some items seemed to have dried out a bit (bread on mini sandwiches, devilled eggs, truffle quiches). For the price and restaurant caliber this should not be acceptable. Tea selection was great (I recall 12 choices). The service, from host to everyone else was outstanding, lots of detailed care and attention from them.

We went there last week for my birthday. It was an amazing experience. There is not doubt that this restaurant has the mesmerizing views of mountains and ocean. Talking about the food, each and every item on the menu is a must try. The apple dessert was the best example of delicacy and fine taste. Lastly, I would like to say than you to the professional staff for the wonderful hospitality.

Our first time trying out Five Sails and it was great! The view was amazing, the food is awesome but expect small portion as it is a fine dining. Totally understandable. The service however is TOP NOTCH! Shaun, our server went above and beyond. He made our night EXTRA special!

Seamless dining experience. Most tables in the venue will allow for a lovely view of the city and water. All of the staff were pleasant to deal with and the food was incredible. Each dish we ordered was cooked beautifully. We started with cocktails; One cocktail in particular that stood out to me was the Season Of Mist. I enjoyed The Executive which was great but the star of the show was Season of Mist.
Would definitely return as all aspects of the dining experience were fantastic.

As a long time customer - over a decade, celebrating all important personal occasions and company’s Christmas party at Five Sails, I have mixed feelings on tonight’s dining experience. Food quality is good, but not as good as two and a half years ago before ownership change. Service is okay tonight. The service before ownership change was exceptional. With tonight’s dining experience, I no longer think Five Sails would continue to be my designated fine dining choice.

The customer service level of our server was exemplary and definitely made our 30 year anniversary a special event! We greatly appreciated the way the restaurant made special efforts in making our dinner memorable. We will definitely come back.

I went there for Thanksgiving. We ordered the Thanksgiving dinner with soup, bread, turkey, and dessert. The soup is the best. The toast with salad on top is a not my dish. Turkey is tender and juicy but portion is a bit small with only 3 pieces. The dessert tastes too sweet for me. The customer service is excellent. The view is stunning. Overall, 4 star.
