Not fancy decoration. But the service, food and price is EXCELLENT! If you go a few times, they will remember you! Eat in or take out both good options. Food is fresh made for you on demand. Definitely would recommend a try. Everything is good.

really liked this place, spent $33 for two people to be absolutely full, could have spent $12 for each and be a normal full :D but it was so yummy we wanted to try many things! service was great, they gave us tea and water like most sushi places. it was completely empty except for us, so the workers were chilling and watching tv which i dont mind at all, i def didnt want them to just stare at us waiting to order something lol. loved it! food is really good, i had veggie sushis and they were awesome. also had veggie tempuras which were really good!!!

One of my favourite places, the food is very reasonably priced and always good and fresh. The only point of critique I have is to have more interesting vegetarian/vegan options. For example some interesting chef-made veg. rolls, like I've seen at other sushi places.

I liked it. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. I had spicy salmon sashimi and a cherry blossom roll. I feel it's a decent value. It seemed like a lot of people in the were regulars.

My friend and I have been coming here almost weekly after our workouts. Lunch sets are very affordable and the quality of the fish is great too. Service is always friendly and they have those guava candies for when you’re done your meal. Love coming here.

Great and affordable sushi place. They have a good selection of vegetarian options and great combos! The veggie yakisoba was very tasty, I recommend it! I also got the vegetarian combo with yam and avocado rolls and miso soup. I got an extra mushroom roll. My friend got combo E with salmon and tuna sashimi as seen in the pic

The food is good and the value is incredible. Less than $10 for a tasty chicken teriyaki on rice. Hard to beat that, hence the 5 star review.

Great selection of eats and fairly inexpensive. I wasn't a huge fan of the rice used for the sushi as it lacked flavor and was a bigger portion of the roll. However, they give big portions and have good quality of fish. The customer service as well was excellent. It's a good place but not mind blowing.

Terrible place... waited 10 minutes to be seated despite there being 3 empty tables. Waited another 15 minutes to order, and then was under-charged when paying because the waitress cannot do basic data entry. When trying to correct the issues, waitress became impatient and aggressive, as if it were my fault that I had paid what she originally entered incorrectly. Enjoy making $40k a year for the rest of your life haha

Read lots of great reviews about this place and was recommended by TL i decided to try it for myself i ordered the Combo 2 (8pc Cali Roll 8pc Alaska Roll) and 2 Ikura(Salmon Roe) it comes with Miso Soup to my surprise the rolls are huge and extremely filling the service was very attentive and extremely friendly i would highly recommend this place,please bring your appetite

Delicious sushi.<br/><br/>Located on the hustle & bustle of West Broadway near VGH. <br/><br/>Service is always friendly.<br/><br/>Food comes out surprisingly quick.<br/>The chicken teriyaki sushi roll isn’t great. Basically chicken sushi with cold-ish thick teriyaki sauce (I assume) thrown on top. Below average roll.<br/><br/>The rainbow roll however is a definite go to. The sushi rice is sweet & cooked well. The salmon & tuna are sliced well. The shrimp lacked flavour. Together with avocado beautifully draped over the basic California sushi mix of a sushi, delicious.<br/>The vegetable sushi rolls are pretty decent too.<br/>They have specials every day at lunch if you are looking for deals. <br/><br/>My recommendation- if anything try the rainbow roll.

I had the Crunchy Roll (spicy sauce on the side- it is pretty spicy), dynamite, and the vegetarian roll. <br/>The sushi was HUGE and extremely filling. I would highly recommend getting the vegetarian roll. The crunchy, dynamite, and vegetarian were more than enough for 3 people. Food came in 5-8 mins, very fast and tasty. Cute scenery. Come early or after lunch, as there is not many tables and can easily be a full house.

While running errands back in October, we were looking for something quick and tasty to eat around the Broadway area. Since there is an overabundance of sushi places in Vancouver, we decided to try Sushi Dragon. This restaurant is rather narrow but the large mirrors on the left wall makes the place feel bigger than it really is. It seemed like they cater mostly to take-out orders as we saw a lot of people coming in to pick up their orders while we waited for our food.

There are so many sushi spots in Vancouver, it's hard to know where to go. I like sushi, but I don't trust myself enough to differentiate good from great (or maybe I've just never had "great," only "good"). To pick this one, we walked down Broadway until we found a place with no wait that wasn't (a) empty, (b) grungy, or (c) too fancy/expensive. It was good, and we'll remember it for next time. It was clean, affordable, and friendly.<br/><br/>We got a couple of combo plates and a crunch roll. The combos came with miso soup. Tea was complementary. All the items tasted good to me, fresh and well-made.

Very sloppy, service and food preparation both. Super slow, waiters don't know how to take back dirty dishes or serve tea and menu when customers sit down. Taste was average, presentation inconsistent and mismatched as a result. Over 30 mins for food to come out--and only a few pieces of sashimi that still stuck to each other (sloppy cutting, the onions in the nabeyaki udon were like that too ). The restaurant was about 70% empty so I'm not sure why everything took so long? Then as I'm eating I hear staff being disciplined "I told you to ---- and you didn't----".<br/><br/>Really, I have no idea how this place was rated so high, unless the restaurant switches the entire staff regularly? I came in at dinner time too.

Got a Bento Box F and everything tasted great. The highlight was the BBQ Eel which was prepared perfectly with a nice, soft texture and not drenched in sauce. If you know me personally, you know that I say, "The one thing a sushi place is not allowed to mess up is a Salmon roll" and Sushi Dragon delivered. The rolls and sashimi had a consistent freshness to them which is hard to come by.

Good Sushi. Having had lunch here 3 times in the past month, it appears that the quality is consistent and the service is attentive. I especially like the very inexpensive veggie combo of a avocado roll and a yam roll. I also ordered some salmon and tuna which were good. Miso soup, also included, was good.

Amazing sushi place. I've been in Vancouver on holiday for 2 weeks and have already been to this place 5 times. The sushi is incredibly tasty and the rolls are very big. Can't recommend this place enough and the staff are super nice as well.

Disappointed. Ordered a chopped scallop roll and the rice was too soft for sushi and there was absolutely no mayonnaise or any dressing, making the roll quite tasteless and dry. In the end I had to resort to the usual soy sauce which doesn't suit the roll at all. Service was slow, had to wait 20 mins for my roll.

Great little spot.. Nice new place for some really tasty sushi. Good value and great service. This will be my main spot when I need some Japanese food in the area. I had the Combo 3, Golden California Rolls and Philly Rolls. I like it all. Free Miso Soup that was also really good.

Great sushi - definitely recommend!. I got takeout from Sushi Dragon last night, and set up an account on this website today just to write them a review!<br/><br/>I ordered the Veggie Special (miso, avocado and yam rolls), a dynamite roll, and tofu teriyaki. Everything I ordered was great, especially the tofu teriyaki, which was made just the way I like it (similar to how Watami sushi used to make their's before they closed, much to my disappointment). I didn't order anything with raw fish, so difficult for me to fully comment on the freshness referred to by another reviewer, but I can say that my avocado roll was delightfully fresh without a hint of browning on the avocado!<br/><br/>Although I did not dine in, the restaurant looked new and clean from what I could see when I picked up my order, and I was greeted and helped by a very friendly waitress. <br/><br/>In all, Sushi Dragon is, in my opinion, the best sushi in the Cambie/Broadway area and is a better-than-good replacement for Ro Sushi - definitely my new go-to for takeout sushi in the area! I hope they is around for years to come!

Sushi Dragon had a special combo featuring a miso soup, 8 pieces of California rolls and 8 pieces of Dynamite roll. For those who do not know, a California roll usually consists of crab meat (fake), avocado and cucumber.
