Mid afternoon, pre flight bite to eat. Service was great and the Tiramisu and Chocolate Cake were to die for! Happy Hour Sleeves for $4! We will return!
The place is great, the style is neat and the food was good.

Great spot for casual fare. Situated right at the airport, where you can watch the planes, takeoff and land while you’re enjoying your food. Food was delicious, service was terrific, and the atmosphere was friendly. Four of us enjoyed our meals of haddock burger, blackened chicken, and the special of the day - roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. Portions are a fair size. Reservations recommended and lots of free parking
Great location with good food and great prices. Burger and Fish and chips were very tasty. Friendly staff.
I've visited the Spitfire Grill many times, and, always, I've been quite pleased. Food was plentiful and tasty. I shared a meatloaf plate with my wife, and there was enough for both of us. The mashed potatoes (real potatoes!) Melted in my mouth and were covered with a rich beefy tasting gravy. The meatloaf reminded me of my Mom's Sunday creations. The server explained the offerings to us clearly and checked on us several times. Overall, we enjoyed our evening and will return for another tasty experience soon. I highly recommend the restaurant.
We enjoyed a lunch at the Spitfire Grill. My 1st time and I was pleasantly surprised. Easy going atmosphere, good Canadian food. I had the Reuben sandwich with lovely fresh, crisp salad. My husband had a cheeseburger. Great, crispy fries too! Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. We will definitely take a drive and have a meal there again.
Absolutely hands down the best seafood chowder and the Sunday special roast beef and mash potatoes in a Yorkshire bowl is quality, quantity and priced amazing!
You know it's great place to eat when it's packed and you're the only non local person in the place.
Good food at decent prices with friendly, quick service. And they have decaf coffee.
Blackened salmon sandwich with beef barley soup.
Ribs with pasta marina
Lemon Merange Pie
Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake
A 20 minute stroll from the Victoria airport down walking paths will get you here.
This was an excellent restaurant that was basically on the runway at the airport. They had Sunday roast. It was delicious and very reasonably priced.
I would compare the Spitfire Grill to any excellent local restaurant.
The prices and quality of food was great. Coffee was good for sure. The only unfortunate thing was that when I asked for some fruit, yogurt, and granola, the did not have any granola. If I was originally told they didn’t have any available I would have switched my order.
I really liked the location, it definitely in a unique spot. I have only tried their breakfast!
Taste: Good
Presentation: excellent
Service: Good
Uniqueness: Alright
Do not laugh I am a long time resident and have never been to Spitfire Grill before ever lol 🙃 ....
Wow my lost ..
What a lovely restaurant so near to airport that opens up so many options.
You can go and not be traveling to airport or go before going to airport.
It was Sunday and they have a Giant Yorkshire pudding with Roast beef , mashed potatoes , veg and gravey all on the Yorkshire for $19 YES $19 dollars 💸.
The staff are wonderful, quick service, delicious food.
Do yourself a favor and check it out .
We were seated right away, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and polite.
The food was good and hot and was delivered in a timely manner.
They have a special each day and my husband had the Monday Meatloaf and he was very pleased.
