Every now and then, one needs to get away. See the sights. Eat the snacks. For us, a recent getaway is one of our favourite places on this hunk of rock, Vancouver Island. When one has an early flight into the Victoria International Airport, the precedence after landing, lands on breakfast. Luckily, Mary’s Bleue Moon Cafe is only a five minute drive away.
Terrific! Most definately going back!. Prime Rib was excellent! Appy's very tasty! Staff friendly, efficient and alot of fun! AND we only live two blocks away.
Good place close to home. Love this place. Good food and great drinks! Haven't been disappointed yet!
First visit. Enjoyed my brekkie sooo much... Service was friendy, fast and enjoyable,, Thank you.. We will be back
Great service and food. Always great, friendly service and tasty food. Wonderfully spiced and tender chicken in two of my favourite meals: mediterranean wrap and tuscan chicken ciabatta.
My family and I love eating breakfast at Mary's. The food is always delicious and the service can't be beat.
We will be coming back to this warm welcoming restaurant again.
Work team always comes here from MTC. Portions good, Richard always gets Shepards Pie, I don't like Shepard. Specials always good. Best choice near Airport.
Eccentric surroundings. This restaurant started selling pie and coffee to pilots during World War II. It has developed into a lovely restaurant with a varied menu. Service is always good and the food, while not extraordinary, is of good quality and is well-prepared. The decor is over-the-top aeronautical and is worth the visit.
Never let down. Marys always give my family and I the dining experience we desire ...consistently great food with the service to go with it...not much to ask for but damn hard to find...See you next week Marys
Great tasting food, large portions and fantastic service.
Three of us had a late lunch. We were seated immediately and found the menu extensive with a lot of options. The food came quickly and was great. We had one dish split and they did a great job plating the split. My fish wrap was fresh and crispy. The salad was the same. Staff was cheerful and good with suggestions The interior has a strong aviation theme with photos and models and a radial engine
Absolutely a don't miss Restaurant. The location is adjacent to the airport. Parking is accessible by parking across the street. Outstanding professional staff. Fresh and tasty meals for a reasonable price.
Although it was packed to the gills, I only waited about 15 mins for my salmon burger and waffle fries, possibly less. The food was excellent.
I’d heard about Mary’s from several people and it was just as great as recommended! Love the quaint decor and local call outs. I had the chicken wrap and it was fantastic! (subbed Frank’s Red Hot sauce for the Cesar dressing) 🍗 Attentive and friendly service. We will definitely come back for another family dinner!
This restaurant was fantastic! Our server was super friendly and had lots of good recommendations on food. The food itself was delicious; everything we ordered was really wonderful. The decor and atmosphere were very fascinating. One thing to note is that parking is on the other side of the street from the restaurant.
This place has an excellent selection to choose from on the menu, something for everyone. The food is good, it’s a great place to warm up and when they have live music, it’s a wonderful place to hang out. The aviation theme is well done and appropriate for its proximity to the airport and the aviation museum. We go there every couple of weeks and are happy bringing friends. The service is reliable, the tables are clean and the food is excellent.
Incredibly tasty food (house balsamic dressing was fantastic) in a historically significant location with interesting aviation related items on display. Would definitely come back. Servers were friendly.
There's an interesting video about Mary's in the Memorial Room of the British Columbia Aviation Museum across the street as well!
This seems like a favorite spot for locals. When we went there early morning on Saturday, there were lots of people inside the restaurant and most people seemed to know one another. Our server was friendly and gave us some recommendations around downtown Sidney.
Pretty standard pub fare. Had the roast beef special which was pretty thin sliced kind of like a beef dip. Yorkshire more like a muffin consistency so can't recommend that dish. Other persons meals looked pretty good and a cool atmosphere. Service a bit slow but we did have 7 people. Overall Id recommend this pub.
Right next to the flying club, Good and original food and choice on the menu.
I priced a seafood quesadilla (with lobster) with a salad, I really enjoyed it.
There was no cocktails menu, that's a shame, but apparently the batman can make all the classic cocktails I want, so I took a tequila sunrise, it was good classic.
In conclusion I will not return for the cocktails but gladly to eat there.
Thank you for the very warm welcome and the sun on the patio 😎
