Popped in here for a quick bite and the were fortunate to catch a group leaving so got a parking spot in the complementary lot and a table for two right away. Food was fresh and arrived at a good pace. Would recommend a visit if in the area.
Food: great variety of menu items ranging from cooked appetizers, sashimi, sushi rolls, robata- grilled items on skewers, dons- rice bowls with raw or cooked items, noodles: cold, fried and soup.
Had the pressed salmon Oshi (a popular favourite), yakitori beef udon, yakitori chicken with cheese skewers, bacon and scallop skewers. All dishes arrived hot and tasted very good.
Beverages: beers, cocktails, fruity drinks, tea (tea was on the weak side- could have used more fresh leaves)
Service: Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful.
Ordering is done by making selections off their web page. What would have helped make it an easier ordering experience is to add photos (or descriptions) under the food items so it clear what is being ordered as some titles had Japanese words that may not be common knowledge to all.
Overall a positive experience.
A good variety of items to choose from. Service was excellent. Food was awesome. Will definitely visit again. It is a small shop so call to reserve your table.
Lots of variety in this restaurant. You wouldn’t have expected in a tiny restaurant to have that many choices. My favourite was the carpaccio, yam mochi, and sunset roll. The sashimi was fresh so definitely give that a try. Their other speciality rolls like the battera roll didn’t really amaze me. I’ve tasted better elsewhere. However, customer service is really nice. I like their robata skewers too! I think it’s a nice place to come have a beer or two with some skewers! Parking can be hell so keep in mind for that haha.
