Ate here twice. First time at about 4.00pm we were famished from a long drive and needed a pick me up.
The service was efficient and we ordered  Hongkong Boat congee and century egg congee. Both were excellent. So was the deep fried wantons we had to go along. It was packed solid with prawn flesh and fried perfectly.
The next evening we could not resist to go back for dinner. This time we ordered their noodles. I had noodles with beef brisket. It was excellent. The others opted for the congee and noodles. We were not disappointed. We had also their wanton is red chillie oils. It was good, by Canadian standards.
Service was what I reckoned to be family members though I think the main lady server cashier etc. could be less stern faced.
Good value for money

And I am a fussy old Chinese man  who has tramped the world but mainly spoilt by a wide international choice of excellent Singaporean food.

I lucked out on parking out front on a late Sunday afternoon around 1pm. When I walked into the joint it was dead and we got a seat right away. I've read alot of other posts here that the beef brisket is a hit or miss. I decided to take a risk and order the brisket and wonton egg noodle soup. My girlfriend didn't know what to order so she got the Thai fried rice.

Service is 5/5. I believe the guy who served us was the owner and is pretty cool. Thai fried rice was ok. Nothing made it Thai but chilies haha. Still, it's enjoyable. Goulesters on cambie has a way better Thai fried rice. The beef brisket and wonton egg noodle soup is DELICIOUS. My experience with this dish was pleasant. They had some bbq satay oil sauce on the side that gave it an extra layer of flavor.

I must say... Their in house wonton dumplings are pretty good. I would definitely come back again and try out their late night menu.

Btw there are two prices for the beef and wonton egg noodle soup. The more expensive price comes with a drink of your choice.

My brother Narc likes the fried wonton. You get about eight of these huge, juicy shrimp balls that stay crispy even when we order take-out.  My father Ludvig use to bring back sui kau for  my younger brother Jacuzzi and I after he went out with his buddies.

This place is always packed, any time of the day. We came here for late night eats and this place was packed full of people!. We ordered from their late night menu which were mainly $8.95 items. If you order I think 3-4 dishes from their $8.95 menu, it comes with unlimited plain congee free. We had the gai lan, green beans and the pork knuckle dish.

came in here after a few days after new year, was curious because it's near the area where i was staying and it's noodles, definitely i'm a big fan of egg noodles type or any type of noodles. and so came in after was seated after a few minutes, ordered a few dishes, some dishes that i ordered are actually not noodles, ordered their wontons, clams, chicken with cashew and green/red pepper, and brocolli with tofu.

overall the food was definitely okay, recommends the wonton because of the ingredients, and the rest are definitely good, the food tenderness and softness are well cooked to it's right firmness.

I came here for a late dinner. My boyfriend and I wanted to eat wontons and beef tendon with some noodles, so we both ordered similar dishes of food. He ordered a bowl of beef tendon and wonton with noodles in soup and I ordered a dish of beef tendon with oyster sauce with mixed noodles with soup on the side. The food was very Hong Kong style and it came out fast. But nothing was special or surprised me. The price and service were okay.

This restaurant is located in Richmond. Richmond has many Asian restaurants. If this wonton noodle restaurant wants to stay competitive in the market, they need to maintain their food, service and quality or even improve themselves in all these aspects.

WOW, this place is pretty good! I would like to go back and try other things. Got the beef and wonton noodles. Soup had amazing flavor unlike most HK style cafes. price was on point too.

Amazing wonton soup! The size of the wontons are huge and they are filled with 100% juicy shrimp. I really recommend the Beef Brisket Wonton Soup, it's super filling, seasoned perfectly, and warms the soul.

Any Cantonese kid will tell you that going for congee, salty donuts, and lo mien meant that it was Sunday (or saturday) morning and you didn't have to go to school LOL! In my case (sunday) because I had chinese school on saturdays!! I eventually quit in 5th grade...which was a really BAD idea... I really regret it now. I wish my parents "forced" me to learn to write chinese, just like how they forced me to play piano lol  In my never-ending search for the best wontons in Richmond (Vancouver is whole other ballpark!) my dad and I found ourselves at Tsim Chai Noodles! If there's one thing my dad likes more than Yum Cha, it's congee!! Nothing like some HK breakfast to calm the soul! ;)     Tsim Chai is known for their wontons, but personally I thought they were just okayy haha. I still prefer MaxNoodle, Mckim Wonton Noodle Saga and Old Buddies (for their gigantic tennis sized wontons!) They're located on Westminster Highway right by Banzai Sushi! So the next time you're thinking about stuffing yourself with puck sized house rolls...consider going for some bellay warming congee next door! ;) Liver & Fish Dace Congee $6.25 3.5/5 stars   Nothing like a bowl of steaming congee to get you up in the morning!! ;)   This was a pretty large bowl, with generous helpings of liver, fish balls, and a few pieces of fish fillet!! The congee was really flavourful but the consistency was more on the watery side. I would have preferred if it was thicker. But overall, a pretty decent bowl of congee!!  HK Milk Tea 3/5 stars   My dad had his usual HK Milk tea, and he didn't have any complaints!! Oddly enough whenever we go to restaurants my dad gets iced milk tea, but when he eats in a food court he always orders it hot LOL.  HK Lemon Iced Tea 1/5 stars   I love ma hk iced tea!! HK iced tea is just so much better than regular iced tea!! ;) ...but this was a really disappointing version. I've had HK iced tea all over Richmond, and this was probably one of the worst. It didn't have

Everything was flavourful and good portions for the price. Surprised this place isn't busier. Standout was the honey and garlic spare ribs.

Been awhile eating here for wonton noodles in person. Love plump juicy shrimp wontons. Nice to be able to dine-in person (takeout available). Getting used to new restaurant restrictions of space and plastic wall dividers, condiment/sauce jars gone from tables (given in measured lid plastic cups instead) but glad customers can come-in again to eat.

Had the dry mixed noodles with wontons and beef brisket and added sui gao, it was a huge portion, easily big enough for 2 meals. Cost the same as a place in Chinatown but TC was more generous and tasted better. The beef brisket sauce was very flavorful and imparted that wetness to the noodle. I asked for sriracha and chilli oil to spice it up. Staff were very nice and hoped I enjoyed my meal.

A wonderful place to eat! My favourite has got to be the shrimp wontons. They were so good in any and every dishes! Their stir fried dishes were also wonderful. Portion was big, and very enjoyable. My complaints: as much as I wanted to say ALL dishes were good, I couldn't. Stir fried noodles and fried rice weren't great. Service was just another HK restaurant service--no offense, but definitely not their strongest quality. Nevertheless, the staff was definitely friendly. Washroom wasn't dirty, but it wasn't good. I've been to this place for over 2 years now, and they've been opened for far longer.

Wanton is awesome. Golf balls size and filled with prawns! Also, try their salted fish with diced chicken fried rice, lots of wok hey and super fragrant salted fish.

Tried 6 different types of dishes and they were all not bad. This place was actually a lot better than other Chinese restaurants with better review.

If you come, order the wontons. They are homemade and bursting with fresh tender shrimp. The noodles are your average egg based firm noodle and kinda bland but you can add vinegar and chili sauce to spice it up. The broth tastes unique and flavourful. The place gives off 90s Chinese restaurant vibes...
