This is the second time we have eaten here and both times we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. #74 and#73 and fabulous freshmade ice-cream and deep fried banana for dessert. Can't say enough good things about the food!
First time and I loved it! The beef stew with noodles is off the chain! And Lina (waitress) was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in YVR.
They have good price, good portion for the custom pick combo menu from $13 you can get one pho or any kinds of noodle , one appetizer, and one drink such as iced soda lemonade or iced milk tea...ect.
They got Rice combo too with 2 toppings , one soup and free drink also around $13. friendly server , good music and free wifi, free parking , open late until mid night. We come here so often now.
Yummy food with good combination choices and a wide variety of Vietnamese food. Their pho broth is so tasty and comes with a side dish of bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno and limes (most places I go to now omit half of those). Also you have to try their crispy chicken wings.
Lunch alone - comforting soup and generous portions. One of those eat and leave places that you can count on for a fuss free lunch.
This is one among the authentic taste Vietnamese restaurant in the city area. Service is quick, the portions are adequate if not more than other restaurants. Price is also considerable.
We came with a group of 25 for Christmas party today. It was packed . The beef Noodle soup are really really good, BBQ grill vermicelli is very tasty. Must try the " Bun Bo Hue" and " Bo Kho" . I Couldn't find anywhere else serve good " beef stew" like them. My boss ordered the tofu. He told me yummy too. My husband got the combo comes with " pho dac biet #18" and salad roll , Ice milk tea only $13. Big portion with this deal. Can't wait to come back again.
Best Vietamese Food I've tasted so far, had their soup noodle combo. Chicken pho, spring rolls and an iced milk tea. Soup was flavourful and not oily! Most Vietnamese restaurants I've been to so far the soup is somewhat sweet but not here, it is so nice and the chicken is so tender. Loved it! It is open till very late too with spacious parking lot in the back. It is now my regular go to place for pho ! Would definitely come back and recommend this place!
○poor / slow service
○family friendly
○food was mediocre similar to most Vietnamese restaurants, nothing really stood out / special pho (pho Dac biet) generally has beef balls but this place Doesn't so that's odd
○free parking in the back
○if I had to choose 1 dish : lemongrass chicken
○would I go back? Maybe
1st time i come to Richmond, i am searching for good vietnamese restaurant on trip advisor, yelp, urban....i decide to try dinner in Pho 99 restaurant in Richmond, food is really good, service friendly, location near my hotel Laquinta, the price is reasonable, restaurant clean,... i will recommend my family & friends come to Pho 99.
every time i have meal in pho 99, i feel like i am eating at home, my mother cook for me...lol. i have try all dishes from the menu. they are pretty good. i love vegetable, love spring roll and salad roll, but i can't finish two dishes at the same time. last week, the kind, young owner recommend me Pho 99 Dragon roll, i was falling in love with that.fresh vegetable grab nicely the spring roll. it is fresh and crispy. omg!! i love it so much ...lol.
I've been craving lemongrass chicken for WEEKS. Weeks I tell ya. Ever since I got back from Vietnam a few months ago, I've been craving it like crazy. Yes, there are better Vietamese restaurants in Richmond (Green Lemongrass, Pho Han, Pho Ho for example) but I just felt like coming here because it was close by haha! I did read a few mediocre reviews about this place but I decided to go anyway LOL. What's the worst that can happen? Well, to my surprise, I actually had a pretty good meal here!! I really appreciated the fact that they had a bike rack at the front!! I always have trouble finding bike racks so I usually have to resort to locking my bike on a pole -.- During my meal one of the owners actually came out to chat with me LOL in Mandarin!! Maybe it was my camera?? He asked me where I was from...and I was like "Um...burnaby?" LOL!! I always find it confusing when people ask me where I'm from, are they referring to my ethnicity, my nationality, or where I live? He also asked if I was a student, and told me that students part of the UBC food club get a discount, and that I should join, and bring my friends! And then he asked me if it was my first time I was here, and I was like "Yes" and he was like "Ah I see, no wonder!" No wonder I was taking pictures? LOL. I didn't tell him I was a blogger though because I didn't want to receive biased/favourable treatment! I've been slowly eating my way through all the restaurants on Alexandra Road in Richmond (aka Eat St!) and Pho 99 is located right on the end of Alexandra, across from Cattle Cafe & Deer Garden!! Pho 99 is a chain (I know, I know, foodies shudder at at that word haha) with locations in Richmond, Coquiltlam, and Vancouver!! "Best Vietnamese Restaurant in North America" Woww, that's quite the claim isn't it? ;) You can check out their full menu here: http://pho99vn.com/Menu.html Happy Hour!! Free drinks!! :D Hot Salted Lemonade 3.5/5 stars This was pretty awesome!! I would imagine this would be g
Yummy. I've been here a few times. I usually order one of the house specials. The pho is quite tasty and the price is pretty good. I usually get my food pretty quick.
Came in this afternoon with my co-worker at around 1pm to try out this place. She told me they got a good "bun bo hue" #21, i tried out, oh yeah, very tasty, i love it. My friend ordered the Lemon grass pork chop on rice. It came with a combo with a drink and 2 big pieces of juicy pork chop and a soup for around $ 14. Good price, good service and food is very delicious. They have free wifi here and free parking behind the restaurant. Will come here more often from now for sure
Amazing place! Love every dish, its so delicious. The owner is amazing, makes me feel like home! A must try restaurant if you are in Richmond.
The place was surprisingly quiet during lunch hours on a Saturday. I love their phos, especially the soup base (hot and tasty). Parking at rear was quite easy. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go again.
Great service. The pho was very good. A different soup base that what I’ve had in the past but not bad at all. Reasonable prices. There is a kid’s meal option (small bowl of pho and a soda), which is a nice touch. Our 9 year old loved it. All in all a great experience.
Love love love! Best pho restaurant in Richmond! And i can drink too! Reasonable price, highly recommended
If u are visiting Vancouver, this is the best place to come, there are many delicious vietnamese foods, down here is what i had before, highly recommend this place!!!!
