I had soy chicken on rice. The chicken was extremely tender, there was enough chicken, mostly brown meat which I'm happy about – I would have left the white meat untouched. There was a bit of a wait for ordering and for the food as they had a long line up. The only complaint I have is the two tiny pieces of choy sum, I guess I have to order "add vegetables" next time. I will definitely eat here again.
Wanting to have a quick dinner at Aberdeen. Ordered a soy sauce chicken with rice for under $10, you also get a free drink.
I am pretty surprised by the quality of the chicken. It is still very soft and not too salty. For food court cuisine under $10, it is a good deal.
I haven’t been to the Aberdeen food court in a long time and it’s as busy as ever! I was craving some Chinese comfort food because it’s bulking season and I have my eyes set on carbs!. This time I hit up Leung Kee which offers great HK style food for a great price! They offer all the classic HK style cafe dishes that you can think of. The line here was almost as long as Bubble Waffle Cafe.

My take on it:
It's been a while since I last visited the food court, and this time I'm craving for a #healthier and #quickmeal.
That's when I saw the mean #greenbean and #beef menu snucked at the back menu without pictures with a #chinese character stuck beside it. I had no idea what it says... (but it probably says "comes with rice") Fast forward to my table, the smell of black bean and beef wafting from the opened #Styrofoam was indeed delish!
The green beans were as fresh as it can be. Trimmed at the end and cooked #al-dente. (that's perfectly cooked in Italian - literally translates as "to the tooth") The beef slices were soft (baking soda soft - #google this if you're not sure what it means) and has that amazing "#umami " #Wok flavour, which can only be achieved in cooking food on a really hot Wok.
A classic dish of vegetables, meat, and #fermented black beans sauce done right! I was surprised with the amount of beans and beef served, which was quite a bit. Thumbs up!
It was a satisfying healthy meal that doesn't feel heavy or fatty. Thank you Leung kee for another great meal!

a quick fix for cantonese food, well the lineup have been crazy long for lunch hours, and the food that my uncle ordered is the efu noodle, where it's deepfried and the sauce on top. definitely alright nothing special, but at the same time sometimes you'll just miss something that's regular and nothing out of the box. definitely alright place for a quick fix. although i must say the flavour is more underwhelming.
I come here pretty often when I work in the area. Super cheap hongkong style foods. Huge portions! And pretty fast service considering how busy they get.
I only come here for their excellent HK style Milk Tea. It's strong, but not bitter, smooth, thick and cheap! Only $1.50 for the hot and $1 more for the cold.
Leung Kee = Happy Me!!. This is my favourite food establishment at Aberdeen. The two dishes I order frequently are the curry beef brisket and rice and the stir fried beef flat noodles (huge portion and I drizzle it with Sriracha sauce!).
Love this place! Small increase in price many months ago but still very affordable. I love the BBQ pork with rice noodle in soup. Very flavorful and I can't taste much MSG, if any. Great portions and nice ice milk tea as well as ice lemon tea. A good place to eat on a budget, and be full at the end!

Was hungry this weekend while shopping with my fiancé. Had a Chinese food craving and this place satisfied it. Was this the best? Probably not but it was fast cheap and tasty enough. I recommend it! The stir fry beef and rice noodles were good. I asked for a side of soy sauce and chili oil to give it more of a kick. My fiancé ordered the fried rice and she liked it. Friendly service and the milk tea was delicious.
Authentic HK dishes served here. Aberdeen Centre has one of the best food courts in Canada when it comes to Cantonese food.

If you are a foodie, I must recommend this cheap and delicious Leung Kee. If you have the opportunity, you must try it. It is from this restaurant that you like Shanghai Hong Kong-style fast food. There are long queues in front of the common stalls. I tried it once. I like the taste of Hong Kong-style fried noodles and risotto. I've tried dry fried Niuhe, Xingzhou fried rice, roast duck noodles, salt and pepper pork chop fried rice, and Caiyuan beef rice are all good. The shrimp wontons in wonton soup are good ingredients, but the soup is relatively unaccustomed. If you order food in summer, you can add some money to change the soup to a cold drink. Dinner with drinks is really a satisfying meal.
Better food than most sit down Chinese diner restaurants at a better price. Sometimes it can get pretty busy and there’s a longer wait for your order than might be tolerable. They don’t take credit or debit but take e-transfers to an email address.
Awesome authentic Cantonese food here for a good price. My go to at Aberdeen
First choice whenever I’m at Aberdeen food court because it is authentic HK dishes and consistent quality for me. Tastes like childhood!
