My family has a long-standing tradition of going to the Mandarin, and our usual once-a-year pilgrimage is in January to celebrate birthdays. This year, we went for New Years Eve and I was wowed by how efficient the restaurant was among the holiday crowds. I thought at first that with the chaos, we would be kept waiting, even with a reservation, but everything ran smoothly and we were seated right on time.
The staff were attentive, they were quick to replenish the buffet, and the food is always consistently tasty with a lot of choices. It's great value for a large family, where everyone can pick and choose what suits their palate. For New Years, they do have a 1hr 45 min time limit, but that's plenty of time to enjoy a dinner out before the night's festivities.
Been to several Mandarins in my lifetime, and this by far is the best Mandarin, perhaps coz it's one of the newest but the place is clean, the food is fresh and the service is friendly.
Considering that this mandarin location just opened, the service was excellent; they continuously refilled our water & took our plates away as soon as we were finished. The food was good as well, except their lobster was not as good. It barely had any lobster meat in it and they stuffed most of it with potatoes. Other then that, it was a good dinner & I would go back.
