My husband & I went there for date night. We were seated promptly. Someone took our drink orders quickly. Our server was friendly & efficient. The chicken & rib dinner that I had was excellent. The chicken was moist & flavourful & the ribs had a bit of a bite to it. Dessert was wonderful as well. All in all a 5 star experience
Went there on Saturday got our booth N server came right away asked what we wanted to drink then when she returned with our drinks asked us if ready to order my friend what torn up about getting the ravioli or the salmon N waitress helped her make her choice. When our food arrived It looked delicious wow and it definitely was I got the Herb Crunch Salmon N my friend got the Ravioli with Prawns it was very good I would definitely go back again that's for sure!!!

February 6th has a special meaning for us, so SWMBO and I decided to celebrate the occasion at Joey Markville. We showed up for our 6 pm reservation, were told that our table was ready, and we were promptly seated. Although the restaurant was moderately busy, we probably could have done without the reservation.
We did have a primary server, but they definitely use a team approach, from taking drink orders, serving food, and clearing tables. The service this evening was top notch.
After adult beverages, we then moved on to sharing the Pesto Shrimp Flatbread. It was served on a small breadboard, and cut into six pieces, making it easy to pick up each piece. The bread was a bit puffy and soft inside, topped with tender shrimp, pesto sauce, and mozzarella. There was also a healthy drizzle of chipotle aioli, to give each bite a pleasant kick.
Next was our main course. SWMBO chose the Steak Frites (medium well please). The sirloin was lightly charred on the outside, tender and a bit pink on the inside, served with a dollop of parsley butter on top. Good fries and arugula salad rounded out the plate.
I had the Steak & Sushi. The sirloin was served tataki style, already thinly sliced. Each bite almost melted in my mouth. The sushi was 8 pieces of rainbow roll (ahi tuna, salmon, avocado on the outside, crab on the inside, topped with sriracha aioli) that was light and fresh.
We still had a little bit of room, so we shared their Chocolate Lava Soufflé, which was served with a raspberry sauce, fresh raspberries, and a scoop of nitro vanilla ice cream. The souffle oozed warm, runny chocolate when we cut into it. Nice way to finish a meal.
I ordered what I always order at a JOEY ... Rotisserie Chicken (minus the veggies). It was delicious! The portion of chicken was big and it was tender. The mashed potatoes tasted just right. And the sauce was tasty!. Nisa was my server and she was great! She was very friendly and took excellent care of me. She is obviously very happy to be working there ... in fact, she said, "I'm proud to work here."
One of my fave places in toronto. The ambience, the food and the drinks are all awesome. A must to come if u ever visit toronto
for dessert get the apple pie
a must have Is the lobster grilled cheese sandwich and the ahi tuna club.

Our server was absolutely wonderful!! Really took care of us!! The food was alright, nothing spectacular or exceptionally flavourful. Rather bland food and with a price tag for it. Our server though was the absolutely best part. She celebrated our event and made sure we were happy!
We went to Joeys for my sisters birthday. Most of us ordered the steak and sushi which had great flavours and was a good portion. I enjoyed the ponzu sauce that the steak was marinating in; delicious! I tried the Baja fish tacos ehich wasnt anything special. For dessert we had the apple pie with Maple ice cream on too. It was heavenly. I just wish i didnt have to share it because it tasted so amazing. The waitress had forgotten about one of our meals and to make up for it, they too care of our calamari appetizer (nothing special, small portion), one of our steak and sushi meals and dessert. They were extremely kind and we had great service. The atmosphere is classy and modern. Ive been here before and tried their lobster grilled cheese which will leave you wanting more because its mouth wateringly good! Greta service, food and atmosphere!
Granted I haven't been to a Joey in a few months. But I swear the servers at the newly opened Markham branch are just not as risque and flaunting as the other branches. I will visit the Don Valley location again and right a review to make sure. If changing direction to become a family restaurant then disappointment coz we already have Swiss Chalet and Boston Pizza
Great food great service. I went to JOEY Markville for the first time yesterday and the menu had a great selection. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and it was by far the best chicken sandwich of my life.. the chicken was perfectly cooked and came with perfectly cooked fries. Food came withing a timely manner and the service was amazing!! I am most defiantly going back again!!
Read all the review before I go make me worry, but actually their service is not bad as review said. We went Thursday night, food is amazing and our server is great. Nice & helpful. I'll definitely go back again
Among all the Joey restaurant in Toronto... The hostress in this location is the worst. I really hope that the mgmt is looking at all these complaints and look at the issue. Because your chiefs are making the best food out of all the Joeys. I really appreciate their food. Thank you.
A great night at Joey Markville. New restaurant just opened over a month ago so thought we would try it for a special occasion and all was great. Started off with a long wait for water but the service improved greatly after our waiter arrived. Food was great. Service was very friendly and helpful. Four of us shared the spinach and artichoke dip which came with a spicy salsa and crispy tortilla chips, pesto shrimp flatbread, Calamari Fritto and house salad. For mains, we had the Fish Tacos and Steak and Sushi while the kids had the Tagliatelli Alfredo. Portions were good and the food was delicious. Steak was a small piece but perfectly cooked. We didn't have room for dessert which we will try on our next trip as we will definitely go back.
