This is by far one of the nicest restaurant I have ever been to, the food was top notch and the staff are very professional and courteous. We have passed by this place numerous times in the past few years but never had a chance to visit the place. Therefore, my wife and I decided to dine here for our first anniversary, and after this exceptional experience, we would definately return in the future. Thank you for making our evening so amazing.
We had a wonderful dinner tonight for our anniversary. The food and service was great. The steak is moist and cooked perfectly and the same for the prime rib. Our server was attentive but not overly attentive. Some servers checks up on you for the sake of doing so. Like asking if you like the food when you haven't taken a bite at all. At Peter's our server dropped by each time we needed something before we even asked for him to come. We also got a complimentary cake for our anniversary which is a nice touch. I definitely recommend this place.

Peter's Fine Dining is in Markham, Ontario. Although the outside of the restaurant looks old and small, the interior actually has a nice, old-school steakhouse decor that doesn't feel old, dark, or dingy. It's an excellent valued meal. As always, I had the bone-in rib eye, rare. It was very good. I also tried the rack of lamb chops, which was surprisingly excellent. Perhaps the best lamb chops I've had. In terms of the steak, the quality of the meat isn't as good as Jacob's Steakhouse, but the texture of the meat was soft and tender. Also, the char-broiled steak gave a great char-flavour that wasn't as good as a charcoal grill, but much better than the regular broiler that other steakhouses use. Everything we ordered was cooked beautifully (prime rib, lamb chops, ribeye) and the portion sizes were massive, especially the prime rib. I would say that this steakhouse gives the best value overall. The complimentary bread was nice and soft, toasted and warm. The French onion soup was fine (not as sweet as some other restaurants like to make it). Finally, I'd like to add that I love that this restaurant didn't go too heavy on salt, like so many other restaurants. I highly recommend Peter's Fine Dining. I am especially glad that we gave this restaurant a chance when my previous favourite, Barberian's suddenly started dropping the ball. Update: Little touches that are nice include a fresh rose gifted to all female customers at the end of their meal and a complimentary dessert if you are celebrating a birthday.
Hubby and I ordered Caesar salad to start, served tableside, as one would expect in a fine dining place. Our server was so amiable. It was like watching the Food Network as he gave me the instructions on how to make fresh Caesar dressing at home.
We decided to split a 24oz Porterhouse steak as it seemed the better value vs getting an 8-ouncer each. And boy, did we overestimate our capacity. Maybe 10 years ago, a 12-ouncer would not have been so huge (am I dating myself?). But when our big, honking chunk of meat arrived, I was all too glad we did not order extra sides of baked potatoes and veggies as well. How the heck were we going to finish this?! Well, of course, we managed because it was just delicious!
Prime Rib is excellent. Enormous portions. Good wine selection. No visit to Peter's is complete without trying their caesar salad. No other caesar salad can even comes close. It is that good!! Dessert selection is so so, the only thing that prevents me giving them 5-star.
Wonderful meal and excellent service. Wow, this was the best restaurant meal we've had in a long time! We paid about the same amount for dinner at Harbour Sixty downtown Toronto and you can't even compare the two. The caesar salad was the best we've ever had, and I found myself wishing there was more when I got to the end of it. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Really really like it. I've been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff know my family and treat us like old friends. The food is excellent, I usually get escargots and a filet mignon or steak neptune. Always very good, and the garlic bread and pickle dish are to die for!
First visit for special occasion. Ordered a french onion soup au gratin and prime NY steak with broiled scallops. It was great! Well prepared and the service was just over the top. Price is considered high but you get what you pay for. Reservations are needed. 95%
Great Restaurant!!. I try to go out to Peter's a few times a year. I have never had a bad meal at Peter's and the service has always been great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in looking for a great steakhouse. The value is much better than you would get at the Octagon for example.
Best prime rib in the city. Cesear salad is outstanding as well. Great staff and decor. Not cheap but good value for the price.
This is my absolute favourite steak house out of the ones I've tried. A very classic fine dining restaurant located at the east side of Markham. Their staffs are always friendly to welcome you at the door and serve you like VIPs at the table. Wide selection of steaks available, from prime rib to peppercorn steaks cooked at your table, their steaks are tremendously tender that give you that fuzzy sore feeling as soon as your teeth touches them. I've never had a failed steak at Peter's. Even their freshly baked garlic bread get me hooked! I could eat them all day but of course, I'd have to save room for the steak. Not a huge selection for dessert but you definitely get your money worth when you go to Peter's on any occasion.
First off, the staff is amazing here! You are greeted very friendly and professionally. The good is amazing! Everything we've tried has been delicious! Some meals are prepped table side and gives you such a fine dining experience! The table side Cesar salad and Peter's prime rib are a must try! We have been customers here for 3+ years and looking forward to returning every single time!
One of the finest steakhouse in the city. Steak was cooked to perfection and it’s one of the few places in the city which serves Dover Sole. The Dover was cooked perfectly. The bacon wrapped scallops were out of this world. Service was first rate and the Nutcracker coffee was the perfect end to the evening. We will be back for sure! Thank you Tom and your amazing crew.
This place is just exceptional. From the Caesar Salad that was made fresh, to the Steak Diane that was cooked at your table side, everything was done in perfection. We were here for birthday dinner and they even gave us a free cake to celebrate. This is one fine dining restaurant indeed.

The food is definitely cooked to perfection! Although the onion soup was on the salty side, other dishes made up for it.
Had to say must try the famous tableside Caesar salad also the tableside tenderloin steaks to finish off with a tableside crepe must mention there cappuccino is very good! After all the heavy food that cappuccino really stand out
As the name stated fine dining, expect $80+ per person but well worth your dollars
If you haven't had the chance to visit Peter's Fine Dining, you're missing out. This was the greatest dining expierence we've had.
Service is beyond exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to make you evening wonderful. Enough positive things can't be said about this establishment. The food is incredible and the best steak I've ever had was had here. The lobster was pure perfection. Thank you all. You made our evening something to remember.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. First off the establishment is in a great location with ample parking. It’s kept super clean and has a beautiful elegant atmosphere. The service here is phenomenal, from the owners to the wait staff, they’ll do everything they can to make sure you have a memorable experience. The food here is impeccable, all cooked to perfection using only the highest quality ingredients. The menu is straight forward and has all the classics you would expect from a high end steakhouse. Our family has been coming here for years and will continue to do so for a really long time as it only gets better year after year. If you haven’t been I’d highly recommend you give them a try because there’s a really high chance you’ll be returning again and again to celebrate many occasions and create memories there to last a lifetime.

This is a very delayed review as I was scrummaging around old photos and realized I didnt post a review for this place. We came here to celebrate our anniversary back in 2019 and it was extremely snowy that day. We were immediately greeted and had our jackets checked in. Throughout dinner we had steak and some appetizers, we were kept in check and the server was extremely courteous.
If I am in the area in the future, I will definitely come back for a special occasion :)
