An expensive, but enjoyable dinner and conversation. Our decision to eat here was due in part to having a $20 discount with a hotel promotion that we had taken advantage of through Wag Jag as normally I don't like eating at hotel restaurants, but that has been changing lately.
The décor is somewhat dated but nice, and fairly upscale but because it is a probably more kid friendly hotel it is not too bad. You waited to be seated, but when it is not busy they just tell you to take a seat anywhere, and being a nice night we decided to sit outside.
We found the service extremely slow, but found out the next day that they had individuals that had called in sick. Not really an excuse, but it explained why it took almost 10 minutes to even have a drink order taken. Food took over 20 minutes, which I often think is a psychological ploy to ensure you have a 2dn drink after waiting so long.
There is not really a large menu, but that's not necessarily a band thing as what they do they have done well. I enjoyed the Salmon, and Karen enjoyed the Pork Tenderloin. Portion sizes were good, and the small food selection made it much easier to choose. A little overpriced for my tastes but the discounted offer made it more bearable.
