The regular barflys. The amazing staff. The great food. I am hard pressed to find a bad thing to say about Tom's Little Havana. I have made this place my headquarters over my visit to Halifax, and the many hours I have spent have brought me new friends, and great memories of this warm and friendly city. The staff has lead me to other wonderful places and they given me suggestions about how to see the rest of their awesome city. I've not been disappointed once by Tom's Little Havana, and I look forward to my next (several) visits before I return home!
If you dont come to Tom's Little Havana while you're in Halifax, you're doing yourself a great disservice.
The first and the best so far, Exile draft and unfiltered is the one I've been looking for. Staffs are super nice and friendly while classy and polite, Sean in particular.
Fun locals place to hang out. Lots of local craft beers on tap. It's a hidden gem that the tourists don't know a lot about. Sometimes I go sit there to play cards or board games with friends (they have a games selection). The food is mostly typical pub fare. The service is very friendly and the vibe very comfy.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been to a bar where you have to wait such a short time for service. Even when the place is packed my glass is rarely empty. Lots of board games scattered around and a few decks of cards make it easy to spend quite a bit of time here. It’s a relaxed place with a nice atmosphere.

Their share platter for 13 dollars was fantastic (loved the warm dip) and the meatballs were some of the best I've ever had. Place has a bit of a run down feel but it seems to keep the regulars happy.
Great hole-in-the-wall find. We were walking around the neighbourhood and came across it. Had the Tatamagouche Hippie Dippie Pale Ale and it was great! This place is very comfortable and the bartender was really nice! It was a good enough experience for these two Winnipeggers to leave a review!
Fantastic little hole in the wall bar with a good variety of local beer on tap, a small but excellent menu (you really want to try the Butter Chicken Natchos and Deep Fried Pickles), and my personal favourite - a decent variety of board and card games to take to your table
One of my favourite bars in the city. They have an excellent beer list and the food is unique and on point. The staff have been there a long time and provide superb service.
Really well made bar food. Service was a bit slow, but bartender was waiting tables. The regular drinkers are a bit loud for a couple wanting to enjoy a quiet meal for sure.
Great atmostphere lots of great beer choices, and the poutine I had was white good. It doesn't have the same charm that it used to but it is still a great place to grab a beer and some food.
