Chain Yard is a great new spot that I have tried a few times and highly recommend. Awesome staff, atmosphere, quality, and value. Unchained kitchen has a great menu to compliment the ciders on tap as well. You can even purchase some of your favourite ciders as well as branded merchandise to enjoy at home. Gotta love the one stop shopping and supporting local!
Ate here last night. Food was awesome and the service was top notch! They made sure my meal was gluten free as I’m Celiac. Loved being able to sample the ciders(try a flight if you get a chance).
This was the perfect finish to our stroll along Agricola! We enjoyed our pretty cider flights and really liked the fried pickles and banana peppers! Great fries as well. I want to return to try their intriguing coconut and curry Rice Krispies squares..

When you settle in for a quick flight and some lunch in a rainy Tuesday afternoon and it turns into lots of tastings and absolutely fantastic food you know you found a winner.
Work with the staff to understand what kind of cider you like, chill out in the great space and try the cauliflower tacos. Fish and chips are a hit and so are the loaded fries (mix them up, add some salt).

Very cool vibe and great cider! Stopped in for lunch (not far from the hop off bus). Very reasonable and yummy food.

Food is fabulous, worth the visit alone. Yet they add in some fantastic options for cider, seltzers and beers. Now consider staying for Bingo!
The bathrooms are well thoughtfully designed and clean.

Their ciders are quite tasty and more varied than I expected. I also liked the view of the canning process right when you walk in, very cool to see behind the scenes. However, the oysters were not great - sauces were nice but the oysters were small and lacking in flavour. There was also a slight issue with the preparation, as there were some shell shards that got into our mouths - nothing dangerous but unpleasant nonetheless. Grab some cider and skip the oysters.
Popped in here for a bite and some drinks after work on Friday. It is a typical establishment for this area. Rough, barn-like ambiance, and furniture. Very casual, but the food was fantastic. The drinks were ok. Their cider specials were not our favourite, but I thought the food was very delicious and unique. We ordered the chicken and fries with the beet and goat cheese salad. I thought both were very impressive, although my husband thought the chicken had way too much hot spice. I loved it though, so order for your taste. The staff was friendly and very enthusiastic about the business, and we discovered that the kitchen was an entirely separate business from the Chain Yard Cidery.
Great ciders! A good variety to choose from made in-house and guest taps too. Kitchen was slow, and seemed overwhelmed dispite the taproom being about half full. Not sure how they'd handle a big night. I think if the food service was fixed, this place would be amazing!
I have Celiac disease. This is the first time I've had fried chicken that was completely safe for me since my diagnosis. It was delicious and made me so so so happy.
We also enjoyed a flight of awesome ciders and the stellar service! Would give 6 stars if I could.
Great spot with so many cider options. It was hard to choose just one! Their food was delicious! A little on the pricey side. I was going into it thinking it was pub prices but the portions were pretty big. I wished they had more photos of their food to help me decide… so hopefully I can help you :)
Recently went in for a birthday dinner, food was AH-MAZING. My friends and I couldn't stop raving about it. Service was great, waitress was attentive and super sweet. And as always atmosphere was great!
