So me and the little one (4 years old) popped in for a quick bite and a drink waiting for the Pride Parade to kick off yesterday and I have to say everything was awesome. Our waitress was very friendly and engaged well with my daughter (still didn't get a word out of her though, so shy with people!) and checked in on us regularly after we'd placed our order.
I ordered the combo (chicken strips, mozza sticks, potato skins and bacon), which was delicious, and the little one had a small order of blueberry pancakes. They must have been good too because she ate half of them (which is an achievement for her).
The high point of the visit was definitely just before we left though, the little one decided she needed to use the little girl's room, so I sent her on in and told her to just give me a shout when she was done. She was in there a while, but then I heard the hand drier going and she came back out with a female member of staff who had helped her wash her hands and dry them off. I was over the moon she got some help in there, above and beyond the call of duty right there, super impressed!
I've always liked this place, but I have to say I like it even more now! Prices are very reasonable for a downtown eatery / drinkery too!
Amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, awesome music, a good crowd of people, and delicious food.
Decided to stop in to grab some supper during a day out on a nice hot day.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great.
Only reason I gave a 4 on atmosphere is we were on the rooftop patio and found that there wasn't enough umbrellas and the sun was directly in my face the entire time. But that is a very minor thing and really didn't take away much from a fantastic experience
Visiting Halifax from Montreal for the weekend, but i grew up in Nova Scotia and have been here years ago! I knew it had a cool rooftop patio, and suggested to my friends who were with me that were visiting from Toronto that we go here on a sunny Saturday. The food exceeded my expectations & we loved what we ate. I had the Moustache burger and it was fantastic. Our favorite part though weβre the potachos. highly recommend!
Great food and good service. Our server was very attentive. Steak was cooked to preference. Little pricy but better quality than other places.
The location is amazing in the heart β€οΈ of spring Garden road. Parking is an issue as parking. spots are limited.
Layout and decorations, the place is spacious, can fit large groups. Lots of seats and tables. The place is cozy and has some seats close to the window, which is excellent. The restaurant is on the second floor, and I did not notice that there is an elevator.
Cleanliness within expectations
Time to be seated, my experience on Saturday was ok. We did not have to wait.
Service, the service is excellent π π π, employees are well knowledgeable of the ingredients. Professional dealing with customers. π π

Conclusion: it is a nice place to have dinner, I will visit them again
Great rooftop patio. Pretty dissapointed in the lobster Benedict, regular non- English muffin bun, and really non-delicious hollandaise sauce (lobster part was delicious of course)
We always visit Your Father's Moustache when we visit Halifax. Good food, interesting decor and friendly service!
One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Nice to go to a place that will actually cook their burgers medium instead of well done.
Loved this place. It was recommended to us by staff of a store we popped into and it was well worth it. In the door you walk up a flight of stairs and the restaurant is there. We chose a booth by the window and had a nice view of the street and public garden entrance. The waiter was really nice and funny. I had the blackened haddock taco with fries and it was amazing. Would love to return here to try more menu items.
Food was alright. Service was decent and not too remarkable. The seafood chowder was pretty good.
I visited for the first time today and it was nice because the wings weren't too salty.
