Delicious food, friendly and amazing staff, beautiful venue and just an all around amazing place! Every time someone comes to visit me in Halifax I always take them to Efes and every one of them have enjoyed the amazing food and atmosphere! Highly recommend to vegans and vegetarians to check out as well!

I work nearby and was looking for a clean lunch, stumbled on this place and boy am I ever happy I did! I got the spicy chicken wrap, it was a total flavour bomb to say the least. The ground chicken was seasoned to perfection and juicy, fresh veggies for a bit of crunch and rolled up nice and tight so it didn’t fall apart. It also came with a delightful tomato “relish” side sauce for dipping. I will be eating in and bringing friends next time!
It was such a nice experience to eat from this gem. Servers were very attentive and welcoming. Restaurant dine in area and washrooms were super clean. Food was so authentic and fresh with lots of options. Will definitely going back. Highly recommended
Without a doubt the best Baklava I've ever had. It was amazing. The mains and started were good too. The servers were friendly and would seek answers to questions from the chef/manager. We wanted to go back just for Baklava the next night but they were closed by the time we got there. Will definitely visit again when in Halifax; even if only for the Baklava.
Shared the yogurt chicken, and a haloumi cheese wrap. The chicken was incredible, well charred on the outside, and sauce was delish! Wrap wasnt my favourite but not what I ordered so it was never going to be my first choice :)

Favorite restaurant in Halifax. Solid experience every visit. Food consistent. Delicious! No fake on flavour. Service and environment always pleasing. I could go on...ok, I will... the meat is always juicy and sides, fresh. Salad fresh, rice clean unique and full flavour. Dinner for two is my go to whether I'm with 1 or 3 other people, add another appy, like lamb liver or grilled goat cheese... baklava authentic, as are the tea and coffee. Wonderful!
Very friendly staff serving up authentic Turkish food. I went with a Turkish person and they offered to make traditional food that was not on the menu which is cool. Not very many options for vegetarians. The vegetarian platter was delicious but the serving size didn’t reflect the price.
Third visit and I absolutely love it here. The food is great i especially enjoy the halloumi wrap. The service is great they are very friendly and attentive and this visit I had left my bag behind with my wallet,phone and keys and the server went out of their way to run it to me as I was walking away from the restaurant and I so appreciated it as it would of put a damper on my evening for sure.

Got a very tasty dinner tonight. Lamb shish kebab and feta salad with 2 sauces. Very beautiful interior inside of the restaurant, all the paintings and Christmas decorations. The food was amazing! Will be back!
Everything was amazing. The service, the food, and the place. The rice was outstanding, and the chicken shish and lamb were out of this world!! The baklava and the rice pudding were unique, best in halifax!
It is authentic Turkish restaurant very nice and warm ambience and décor, which make you feel you are in Istanbul. Great place for lunch with coworkers or dinner with friends or family. The menu has great variety of grilled kebabs and wraps in addition to nice selection of wines. This restaurant make you feel warm Turkish Mediterranean hospitality. I went with coworkers there for lunch and we had for a starters: delicious gluten free kiymali, which is warm hummus with spicy minced lamb, shrimp guvech cooked in eggplant tomato sauce, and halloumi grilled slices of Turkish goat cheese. For the main course we had delicious seafood kebab, kofte kebab and yogurt kebab with bottle of nice Villa San Martino Pinot Grigio. The prices are very reasonable for the great quality food. For desert we had Turkish coffee with yammy baklava. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes Mediterranean food. We are planning to come back with the team again and try other items on the menu.
