First time visiting was on New Years Eve, and service was top notch given how busy and high-energy the night was. The staff truly enjoy working there. I was expecting the establishment to be a tiny "hole in the wall" cafe, but it was so much larger and elegant than I was expecting (think Dr. WHO ;) ) Lots of space, lots of tables, lots of elbow/leg room. The food was phenomenal (again, given the pressures of New Years Eve) and I never expected to like a veggie dip made from cauliflower and leeks. This is a great establishment to treat yourselves (especially for special occasions like anniversaries with that special person)
First visit. Unsure about the menu but our server Tamara was great explaining everything. The food was excellent too. Want to return to explore more of the snack board and other mains. Great drink menu but would have liked to have seen more NS wines.
Luckily, the weather was nice enough for us to be able to eat on the surprisingly large roof terrace. Laura (or was it Lara) looked after us really well.
I had the guava cocktail, which I recommend, and a glass of montepulciano. My wife had the non-alcoholic wine.
We shared the whipped brie as a starter. For mains, my wife had the halibut. For me, they did the duck pasta without the duck and with mushrooms instead, gorgeous.
I would recommend it.
We had an awesome dining experience from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, we were impressed by the decor and the atmosphere. The lighting was dimmed and a live band was playing. The hostess greeted us at the door and took us to the table. Our server was Holly who took great care of us. Once we had a chance to look through the menus, she took our drink and food orders. Other staff made sure our water glasses were always filled and brought complimentary bread to start.
We had the escargot and scallops appetizers. Both were delicious. Our mains were Beef Wellington and lamb shank. The entrƩes were cooked beautifully and we savored every bite. In the end, we were too full for dessert!
Thank you to all the staff for our wonderful night out.
First time there and not one thing to complain about or be better... Food and service was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back and do again...
Second visit was just as phenomenal. Incredible service and food. The price fix menu is a great deal early week. Currently celebrating a 10th anniversary with specials from their first menu...
It was our first time for my husband and I and the waitress was amazing. Can't remember her name but she was excellent. Food was delicious. My husband Loved his French Onion soup and our mains were so good too. I loved the Escargot that I had for an appetizer and the Beef Wellington was amazing. We were too full to have dessert.
Agricola Street Brasserie did everything right. The design and atmosphere is outstanding. The service was exceptional. I wish I could recall my servers name but he did a terrific job.
I went for Brunch. Menu was the right size. The options made it tough to choose. I had a cappuccino which was great. Brasserie Breakfast and Duck Confit Hash were chosen. Cinnamon Roll and Danish Pastry were add-ones. Food was a 10/10.
I am looking forward to heading back for dinner soon.
My second time visiting; first time for dinner. In a word, fantastic! Great music, that is relaxing and still allows you to carry in a normal conversation. ill be back. .
Had a wonderful experience at Brasserie. The atmosphere, food and staff are all excellent. Good portions and really well done apps and mains. They make all their bread, sauces, sausages and preserves in house which I think is rare now a days.. The duck was cooked perfectly and overall flavourful dishes. The cocktails were also great. We also shared the coconut cream tart, it was really pleasant and not too sweet which i love myself. Our waitress Shannon was so attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and kind. Fully recommended and will definitely be back to try more menu items!
We ate here as a group and were seated above the kitchen in a cozy space that was large enough for our 15 or so people. We had a choice of appetizers main course and dessert. I enjoyed my calamari, it was cooked perfectly and was definitely sharable in size. I couldnāt eat more than half of it as I wanted to enjoy my main , the herbed chicken. The herbed chicken was a mixture and not the usual breast meat by itself. The accompanying veg and sauce tasted great. For dessert they hit it out of the park with cheesecake. I enjoyed my meal but would have loved it if Iād read the menu in better light. The green bean Caesar looked amazing and everyone who had it cleaned their plates. However the filet mignon were undercooked but still had great taste. The bread pudding was yummy as well.
11/10. Absolutely phenomenal experience. We are frequenters at ASB and decided to host our entire wedding there in Oct. 2023. Melissa and her staff were SO patient and SO experienced. Nothing is out of the question as they can make anything possible. Your booking includes set-up and tear down by the staff, HUGE win. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. And obviously the space is GORGEOUS; very little decorations are even needed in the romantic moody room. We did our ceremony on the roof and it was SO special. Food incredible. We did a standing cocktail dinner and we had more than enough and continue to received compliments over the menu. This is SUCH an awesome spot!
Great dining experience.
The kitchen is uniquely visible, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere was great; dim lighting & cool wine-bottle glasses. It's a little pricey, but the food is worth it. Yum!!!
