We found Anatolia’s online during a recent stay in the neighbourhood and decided to give it a try. We’ll be back for sure - the salad sampler appetizer was fantastic, and the Lavash bread is straight up addictive. We shared a kebab sampler as our main dish which was also very good, but the dips and salads are unbeatable - I’d consider making a full meal of that next time.
It is a decent Turkish restaurant. I have been there a few times and I love their fresh baked bread. The taste is not to the levels I had when visiting istanbul city.
We come here few times and we like the food here. They give quite a generous amount here and the price is reasonable. Their coffee is quite strong and maybe it's too strong of a taste for me. The decor in the restaurant is not very appealing but the food tastes good there and it's very authentic Turkish food
My first try of Turkish food. I had the lamb was a bit bland. The lavash was nice, puffy and warm. I loved the carrot salad. Texture was nice and tasted sweet. I would come again with more people. I was dining on my own tonight.
Staff very polite and prompt.
Great food, great lavash bread. Yum yum in my tum tum.
Somewhat forgetful staff when it comes to complete orders.
Yum yum in my tum tum. (filler for 140 character limit)
We use to come here often, but have not been on a while. We went for dinner tonight. Polite servers, amazing food. We started with the smalled mixed plate with the amazing puffed up bread. I then had the lamb shish. So tender and full of flavour. Such a great place!!
If nothing else, try the lavash. Having only discovered this restaurant in the past few years, it's quickly been a go-to when we're running out of ideas for what type of cuisine to eat. The donairs are delicious, and just thinking about the curry makes my mouth salivate. One point to note that is that the level of heat in their curry seems to change on a day-to-day basis, making me conclude that the sauce is made differently every day (but there's nothing wrong with that).
Would definitely recommend to everyone - the portions are very generous, and the staff have always been courteous whenever we've been there.
Friendly and honest service. Our server john was such a cool person and the food was delicious and came out quickly. we will be back.
Not a bad item on the menu. Everything I've tried here was simply delicious! I've only been here a handful of times because it's out of my area, but wow...I'm always impressed.
I really can't remember all the names of the dishes I had, but It was a variety of skewer like meats, a meat bread thing, lavosh bread, lots of colorful tasty salads and sauces, and even the pizza was good.
One day I picked a few veggie items from the from display thing in the front 'to go' and had them with lavosh bread - way beyond my expectations.
The staff are also knowledgeable and accommodating. I came with someone with many food allergies and the server came back 3 times just to make sure the ingredients didn't cause any issues.
Give them a shot if you want to try something new. If you haven't tried middle eastern food before, but you like Mediterranean foods you'll probably do OK.
Amazing! We didn't make a reservation (definitely make a reservation) they let us sit at the staff table which was so kind of them. The food was delicious, the staff were great. Definitely in the top 5 places in the city. Absolutely delicious!
Decent portion size, warm fresh bread , great selection and 3 salads per plate. We ordered to go the beef adana, chicken kabob and eggplant salad. The food looks delicious and tastes so good. It was ossum!
This place is always a local gem! I have been in this place for many times, and never been disappointed. They would give you the famous Lavash bread with garlic yogart to start. The bread was freshly coming off the oven. Be sure to start eating it right away. It was delicious! During the years, I had tried their curry, kabobs, lamb chop, etc. They were all amazing! We would order the Ali baba (baked mushrooms with cheese) every time. My wife loved mushrooms and this was a must for her. This time, we tried their pizza for the first time. Curry pizza was a new experience for us. But It surprised us. It was quite good. Fresh from the oven and juicy curry sauce. We liked it very mush. At the end, I suggest a Turkish tea or coffee to finish. Would definitely return as always.
We had lahmajun, meat and cheese pide, which I liked. The lavash bread they offer at first is great freshly baked. We had mixed plate as well which had all the appetizers and it was great. The kunafa was so good and the tea was served in traditional Turkish way
I ordered the kofteh Guvesh which came with fresh bread and some yogurt sauce.
Even though there was only one other customer and I called and ordered 10 minutes before arriving I had to wait for another 15- 20 minutes to get my food.
The Guvesh was good but not great, the cheese seemed to be not of the best quality or not the freshest and I would get it with out cheese for sure next time.
The lavash bread came with oil and sesame which was actually great, I got another one for to go.
The bread is definitely worth to try since they have their own oven, and that's why I would give it a 4 star.
I need to try more of the dishes here to have a better judgment of the food quality.
Had an amazing experience. Food is absolutely delicious. Brought my kids for a late lunch/ early dinner and will make sure to come back again
