Review Anatolia's Gate - Burnaby

Badger and Yew
Amazing! We didn't make a reservation (definitely make a reservation) they let us sit at the staff table which was so kind of them. The food was delicious, the staff were great. Definitely in the top 5 places in the city. Absolutely delicious!

Decent portion size, warm fresh bread , great selection and 3 salads per plate. We ordered to go the beef adana, chicken kabob and eggplant salad. The food looks delicious and tastes so good. It was ossum!

The first visit we just came in to try some light snacks. We tried their turkish coffee- the cup was cute but when drinking it to the the very end you can taste the ground bits of coffee which gives it an unpleasant texture and taste (bitter), We had their lavash, by far it was the best one we’ve ever tried… super fresh, warm, toasty and just melts in your mouth also their dip was well balanced with the lavash. The chicken wrap was really mediocre, chicken was dry and was hoping for more components in the wrap, it lacked depth and flavor. 2 weeks later we came in to really try their main dishes & saddened to say that it was just lacking a lot of love. It was small for the big plate and it does not look like the picture displayed outside. Also the meats were dry, not flavorful, and lacked salt. Rice was a bit sticky and salad was super simple. Although their people were nice and welcoming. Ill come back here only for the lavash & yogurt dip.Other than that their main dishes are not worth the price. We paid roughly $50 for everything. (P.s.- picture shown is my side of the dish that i ordered. They all looked the same)

This place is always a local gem! I have been in this place for many times, and never been disappointed. They would give you the famous Lavash bread with garlic yogart to start. The bread was freshly coming off the oven. Be sure to start eating it right away. It was delicious! During the years, I had tried their curry, kabobs, lamb chop, etc. They were all amazing! We would order the Ali baba (baked mushrooms with cheese) every time. My wife loved mushrooms and this was a must for her. This time, we tried their pizza for the first time. Curry pizza was a new experience for us. But It surprised us. It was quite good. Fresh from the oven and juicy curry sauce. We liked it very mush. At the end, I suggest a Turkish tea or coffee to finish. Would definitely return as always.

We had lahmajun, meat and cheese pide, which I liked. The lavash bread they offer at first is great freshly baked. We had mixed plate as well which had all the appetizers and it was great. The kunafa was so good and the tea was served in traditional Turkish way

We haven’t been here for 15 years, as there are many other choices around town. This time we wanted to see if the food is still good. The Lavash bread was excellent as we ate the whole thing and we do not recall seeing that huge bread in Istanbul. My main course of Beyti Sarma looked very impressive, but the ground meats were a bit on the dry side. So was the Lamb Tandur my wife had, a bit dry too. Anyway the dishes are very special and we will definitely return to try other dishes.

I ordered the kofteh Guvesh which came with fresh bread and some yogurt sauce. Even though there was only one other customer and I called and ordered 10 minutes before arriving I had to wait for another 15- 20 minutes to get my food. The Guvesh was good but not great, the cheese seemed to be not of the best quality or not the freshest and I would get it with out cheese for sure next time. The lavash bread came with oil and sesame which was actually great, I got another one for to go. The bread is definitely worth to try since they have their own oven, and that's why I would give it a 4 star. I need to try more of the dishes here to have a better judgment of the food quality.

Had an amazing experience. Food is absolutely delicious. Brought my kids for a late lunch/ early dinner and will make sure to come back again

Team lunch on a sunny Thursday. We had a big group of 12 but didn't really need to wait for a table. Our boss ordered the bread that comes with 3 kinds of dipping sauce: eggplant, hummus, and yogurt. I like all 3 kinds of dipping but didn't ate a lot as I need to save room for the rack of lamb dish, which came with rice, tomato salad, green salad, and sour cabbage. Rack of lamb needed more seasoning...also a bit pricy for $22.50 for lunch (glad that it's paid for hehehe). Maybe they should consider having a lunch menu instead.

We found Anatolia’s online during a recent stay in the neighbourhood and decided to give it a try. We’ll be back for sure - the salad sampler appetizer was fantastic, and the Lavash bread is straight up addictive. We shared a kebab sampler as our main dish which was also very good, but the dips and salads are unbeatable - I’d consider making a full meal of that next time.

I have never been to Turkey.
Firstly because Erdogan and I will never get along, and secondly because i’m still sore that they don’t use Constantinople instead of Istanbul.
The closest i have come to visiting Turkey is trying Turkish cuisine, or a Canadian variant of it.
Things get off to a sublime start, courtesy of what is actually called Lavash, but is referred to as Turkish flatbread by many.
Hot, tender, and melting quicker than soft chocolate in your mouth. One could fall in love with Turkish cuisine just for the Lavash alone.
But just when you decide to fall in love, things quickly turn around and bite you on the rear-end, much like real life romance.
The main courses aren’t bad. Chicken Shish , Iskender Kabob or anything else. They just don’t live up to the incredible bar set by the appetizer. The fact that their portion sizes have gone down over the years has also been a dissapointment.
Either that or the abyss known as my belly has gotten bigger, which is entirely ( and more likely ) possible too.
Will i go there again? Yes.
Will it be my first choice? No.
Will it be my first choice if they give me a lifetime supply of free Lavash? EVET EVET EVET!! ( that’s Turkish for YES YES YES!! )
Restaurant Name : Anatolia’s Gate Restaurant
Location : 7084 Kingsway Burnaby BC
Ambiance : 7/10. Has a very laid back feel to it, which is pretty refreshing compared to the glitz and glamour of some other places. The hygiene levels are excellent too.
Service : 7/10. Quick and efficient. All the basics are done right.
Food Quality : 6/10. As mentioned before, the meals aren’t bad. They just don't live up to the sheer epicness of the appetizers.

Just been there and the food is awful. The lamb was absolutely bland even some table salt/pepper could not help the cause. Wasn't just pallet able. The only upside was the bread ie lavash. The chicken kebabs were a total disaster. With the kind of reviews this was utterly disappointing.

we used to love coming here. but in the last year or so I think owners have changed. I dont see any actual turkish people on staff, the service became terrible, sometimes i had to ask for a plate and a spoon as they jsut put appetizers in the middle of a table and leave. The food doesnt taste good anymore either, its so bland, lacking even salt. Its very disappointing that we lost such a great restaurant
Tom@NorthShore
It is a decent Turkish restaurant. I have been there a few times and I love their fresh baked bread. The taste is not to the levels I had when visiting istanbul city.
Farhad Saba
Not a friendly restaurant I guess they have their regular client tell. Behaved very unfriendly and strange.
When you do not like the environment the food will definitely taste not good.
Do not go there unless you know them or you do not mind a very poor service.

Very surprised that the rating is so high. I was quite looking forward to try this restaurant since I am a big fan of Middle East food and Turkish coffee. I pass by here for work yesterday, and order a lamb tandur dish. It come with a huge lavash bread with yogurt dipping as an appetizer which is decent. But the lamb itself is horrible. The meat just tasted like the meat from making a Chinese style slow cooked soup. Then I order a Turkish coffee after the meal. It came with a cool cup, but it is so light in flavor even lighter than the instant coffee I drink at work. The service was quite minimal, they didn't even ask for quality check. It was quite disappointing. I won't say I would not give another try next time, but just won't travel that far for Turkish coffee and Middle East food. Would rather stick with Nuba in Vancouver.

We come here few times and we like the food here. They give quite a generous amount here and the price is reasonable. Their coffee is quite strong and maybe it's too strong of a taste for me. The decor in the restaurant is not very appealing but the food tastes good there and it's very authentic Turkish food

My first try of Turkish food. I had the lamb was a bit bland. The lavash was nice, puffy and warm. I loved the carrot salad. Texture was nice and tasted sweet. I would come again with more people. I was dining on my own tonight.
Staff very polite and prompt.
Simon
Back to Anatolia's Gate -- because there was a Meetup there tonight and my friend was interested in Turkish food, so I went with her. If you are in a group, the lavash bread that comes with your meal will also be communal!. Meat Lovers Pide ($11.95) Anatolia's Ground Meat, Turkish Pastrami, tomatoes, cheese, egg

Great food, great lavash bread. Yum yum in my tum tum.

Somewhat forgetful staff when it comes to complete orders.

Yum yum in my tum tum. (filler for 140 character limit)

Dropped in late in the evening, about an hour before closing. If it's a really quiet night, they may start closing up everything even while diners are still in the restaurant. Baklava ($5.95) sweet Turkish pastry made of thin dough sheets and walnuts; four for $5.95 or 2 for $2.95. A full order is four. Each is about a cubic inch.
Andrea James
We use to come here often, but have not been on a while. We went for dinner tonight. Polite servers, amazing food. We started with the smalled mixed plate with the amazing puffed up bread. I then had the lamb shish. So tender and full of flavour. Such a great place!!

I would say this restaurant is really mysterious because the it's a turkish cuisine, which i've never tried it yet, and so went inside for dinner, and ordered i would say more of a westernized food, it's sort of a lagsana, and the freebies bread is very intersting, it's very big, was really happy when i see the portion but inside the bread is all hollow :( and for the desert, it's pretty good i'll say, the sweetness and the nutty taste is nice, overall, i think it's very great.

I would recommend the place for people to try but then it's not very very distinguished and very very special that i would recommend the place, so i will not recommend the place, but the food is trullly slightly above average. definitely not bad.
ThrowawayBBY
If nothing else, try the lavash. Having only discovered this restaurant in the past few years, it's quickly been a go-to when we're running out of ideas for what type of cuisine to eat. The donairs are delicious, and just thinking about the curry makes my mouth salivate. One point to note that is that the level of heat in their curry seems to change on a day-to-day basis, making me conclude that the sauce is made differently every day (but there's nothing wrong with that).

Would definitely recommend to everyone - the portions are very generous, and the staff have always been courteous whenever we've been there.

Rude service- work on customer service (take a course, maybe). We walked in on a Tuesday evening around 6pm and were told that it would be a 20-25 minute wait for a table of 4. And more than half the tables were unoccupied! I will never return here and will make sure to spread the word.
John Smith
Friendly and honest service. Our server john was such a cool person and the food was delicious and came out quickly. we will be back.

Poor Service, less then average food.. The staff seems be overwhlmed with few customers. Waited for our food for 45 min and drinks were not delivered at all. Mediocre food, definately over priced. Will not go back to this place.

Not a bad item on the menu. Everything I've tried here was simply delicious! I've only been here a handful of times because it's out of my area, but wow...I'm always impressed.

I really can't remember all the names of the dishes I had, but It was a variety of skewer like meats, a meat bread thing, lavosh bread, lots of colorful tasty salads and sauces, and even the pizza was good.

One day I picked a few veggie items from the from display thing in the front 'to go' and had them with lavosh bread - way beyond my expectations.

The staff are also knowledgeable and accommodating. I came with someone with many food allergies and the server came back 3 times just to make sure the ingredients didn't cause any issues.

Give them a shot if you want to try something new. If you haven't tried middle eastern food before, but you like Mediterranean foods you'll probably do OK.

Simply the worst service I ever received in a restaurant. Ordered beef kabobs and they serviced it without rice. I asked why and they said because they ran out of rice. They should have said it before we even ordered! Each order comes with a Lavash according to their menu. They just gave us one bread. The waiter asked if I want 1 more and I said yes. Few minutes after finishing our meal I followed up the Lavash and they said sorry we forgot. Take note there were 4 waiters and only 3 diners at the time. So I said ok I will wait some more. Finally got tired of waiting and decided to pay. Saw all 4 waiters having a break and no bread (Lavash) was cooking in the oven. Great we were waiting for nothing! The waiter said oh sorry I thought you did not want the bread anymore. The second waiter said sorry I thought you got the bread already!

My first Turkish meal. Lavash Bread (complementary) - We got a whole wheat and a white. I could not really tell the difference. Some of us said the white one had a stronger garlic taste. It would be better if the bread came in smaller sizes. It was cold in the middle of the dinner already.
Yogurt Dip - Star of the night. I could not stop having it with the lavash bread. Some of us even paid $2 to get some home. I'm going to have it with baby carrots and cherry tomatoes. It's like a tartar sauce made from yogurt.
Mixed Plate (A Mixed Potburry of cold salads) $11.95/$15.95 - We got the large and I had mixed feeling. I wanted to save room for the entries but it was so good. I'm usually not a big fan of the appetizers but I liked it.
Ali Baba (Mushrooms and Mozzarella Cheese baked in the oven and served with freshly baked Lavash bread) $8.95- Tasty but seemed like something I can make at home
Kofte Guvech (Anatolia’s Ground Meat Balls with oven roasted veggies tomato sauce and cheese baked in oven served with lavash) $11.95 - One of the best dish of the night! Our "meatballs" came in a stick instead of balls. We really liked the roasted veggies. Next time I might just get veggies only.
Chicken Iskender Kabob (Freshly Sliced Chicken Breast marinated with Anatolia's Special Spices Cooked on a Vertical Broiler w/yogurt and tomato sauce, rice & salad) $11.95 - The chicken breast was a little too dry for me.
Mixed Kabob (Mixed medley of kabobs served on top of Anatolia's Pide with salad, rice and yogurt sauce) $18.95 - another okay dish. MIght not order it again.
Lamb Chops (Lamb chops grilled served with rice, salads, yogurt sauce and bread) $15.95 - Nothing special. Don't think I will order it again next time.
Lamb Tandur (Oven roasted lamb chunks with fresh tomato and mushrooms served with salad, rice and a freshly baked lavash bread & yogurt sauced) - way better than the lamb chops. Super tender.
Baklava $4.95 ( a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of phyllo pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup) - Our server offered it as complementary. It wasn't overly sweet than the one I had before from a North Van Persian bakery.
Kadaif (an Arab cheese pastry soaked in sweet sugar-based syrup) $4.95 - I liked this better than the baklava. The Baklava was sweeter. Crispy top and bottom with melted cheese inside. Will definitely order this again!
Conclusion - Turkish is very similar to Greek but I liked this better. It had less spies than Greek.

The food was AMAZING the first time we went. The portions were generous and that made up for the bad service and higher prices. We went back today, its been a few months, the portions were literally cut in HALF. Prices remained the same and unfortunatley so did the service. We didnt recieve any cutlery. The chicken curry arrived at our table first, which was missing the rice. After a solid 10-15 minutes the rice came seperate and now the curry was cold.

Asked them for a new one and they said they would heat it up. It came back with half the amount of chicken and NOOOO more sauce was even on the plate.

We also wanted to order the olive medley but they said they didnt have it anymore but its still on menu. The lavash bread use to be huuuuge now its like 1/4 the size. The hummous was but a thin smear on the plate. Thumbs down. This place went from being a solid 3 1/2 stars to NO STARS!! Not worth the money, bad service and little food

First time I went there the food was great. So, I went back and it didn't taste the same. It tasted old. 50/50

No lunch specials, no special lunch. I walked into the restaurant because of the large "Lunch Specials under $10" poster in the front window. When I asked staff about it, they said "Oh we don't do that anymore." Ooookay.

I needed something cheap for lunch so I got their Lamb Donair - $8.40 plus tax. What I got was watery, flavourless lamb with a small amount of yogurt, minced cucumber, flavourless tomatoes (when the tomatoes are almost whiteish). That's it. Literally the worst, most flavourless donair I have ever had. It didn't even have salt or garlic.

I would never eat here again based on the poor service and this bad experience with the food.

Turkish D-light. Visited this place during the festive month of 'Movember'. To my surprise I was the only one with a moustache.
They have all the Turkish specialities here like lamb on a platter, lamb in a pita, lamb kebobs, lamb on rice, and cheese pizza with garlic bread....

Great first time Turkish food.. Came in thirty minutes before closing on a Sunday and found it empty. They did warn us that they were closing soon, but my group decided to dive in anyway, hoping that we'd be done pretty fast. They definitely rose to the challenge, feeding five people in forty minutes.
As always, get the bread. Then get extra bread because it won't be enough. My group went through the first one fast and had to get another because it was so warm and tender. My beef iskender was tasty, though one critique I have is that they used too much sauce. Still, it went excellently with more bread.

Love the food!!. I have been to Turkey so love the food. This restaurant is authnetic and very good. Highly recommend.

Truly OuTsTaNdInG. Went there on friday. tried chicken sheesh and iskander kebab (beef), truly outstanding. I would not recommend chicken as it was very basic chicken roast kebab, but try anything with beef kebab, because that is the only meat in their dish that is slow roasted and seasoned to perfection, smells great and really filling and absolutely worth the price. Thanks.
Anna
Turkish delight indeed!. I love this place! It's not the nicest restaurant you'd want to go on your first date and it's a bit pricey but the food is never disappointing. I always get their whole wheat Lavash bread which comes with delish yogurt dip. Pizza, pize, kebob, hummus are all top notch and I love their carrot salad, too!

All I can say the food is authentic and good. A little bit pricey comparing to some other places, but overall impression is good. Recommended!

Great everything!. This is one of my go-to places to eat, as I live right around the corner. Even if I didn't though, I would still come out to eat.

The first time I went in I fell in love with their lavash bread and hummus! It was so warm and fresh, and I had the lamb kabob. Now every time I go in I try something different, but still always get lavash as it is my favorite.

The lamb Durum is my go-to take out dish. Lavash and lamb all In a delicious wrap?!? A tasty treat.

This place is definitely worth a visit!

Second Time Still Charming. Anatolia's Gate is worth going to just for the lavash bread and the the utterly delicious Beef Iskender Kabob. Soo good. My spouse loves the Ayran (very salty lassi drink) and we both really enjoy the lahmajun. The meat pide was good, but a bit too cheesy for me. The lamb guvech was a bit bland for our tastes. It was tasted like neighbouring Greece's roast lamb, except it's more soupy and had peppers and zucchinis in it. Service is friendly, but they aren't the most attentive. They try though. Dishes seemed smaller the second time, but just as tasty. The lighting in the restaurant is bright, but I guess if there was more ambiance they would just up the prices. Open on Sundays now too.
Tyrone
Very good!. The food here amazing! I loved their Lavash bread, so fresh and so good. There Humus was great too. I would definitely go here again. The service was ok, but who cares, its worth it! If you like Turkish, it's a must!

I highly recommend this place! The service is great and food is delicious! I recommend the sampler appetizer. It is a lot of food. The best part has got to be their freshly baked bread right out of the oven!

Very good food. Consistently excellent food. The service can be very slow but the food is worth the wait.

First Time - Not the last time!. I found this place, through google, while waiting in a very long line up (on my phone). I thought, we would give it a try, as we have never tried Lavash Bread, or guvech before. I always love trying new food.

Service was great! The server was fast on his feet, and I wondered how he had so much energy. All the staff were very friendly, with big smiles.

We ordered chicken guvech, which comes with lavash bread. The bread came fast, with a yummy yogurt dill dip. Be careful to let the steam out of the bread!!! It's hot, and I saw a couple patrons pull their hands back very fast. But, the bread was fresh, and steaming hot. I loved it.

The chicken guvech came soon after, and was delish.

This place is on my list, of the top favs in Vancouver.

Go for the lamb guvech and the mixed kabob plate if it's your first time! Really nice staff :)

Awesome food and friendly service. We ordered 2 dishes. Both were excellent. The lavash bread is to die for. The desert was also tasty!! Will be returning for sure!

Awesome food!. This place didn't look like much from the outside especially with their fast food style table setup...BUT the food is top notch!
Everything was delicious - from start to finish. Service was also fast and efficient. I really, really like this place. I will introduce to friends. Happy eating.

First impressions are yummy!. I have driven past this place a few times and I am always looking for new Turkish/Lebanese places. Today I ordered the Lamb Durum for lunch take out. I have to say that is was very good. The lamb was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. Very filling. It also smelled so good that my co-worker decided to go and get one as well.

It is a small place, very casual but clean and welcoming. Also convenient location with ample street parking right out front on Kingsway.

I can't wait to go back and try the other menu items. If you like Mediterranean, Lebanese & Turkish cuisine, you will love Anatolia's Gate. I was definitely impressed.

Happened to stumble upon this place one day and realized that the food was good and the service was acceptable. The food quality is what stands out while the prices might be too much for what they give you. I'd go again, only because I live nearby
Angelo
Disappointed. My wife and I went last Sunday, we were really disappointed from the quality of the food, we ordered the Lamb Shish and the Chicken Shish, the Chicken had no flavour or whatsoever it was not cooked very well and it tasted like a leftover Chicken, the same was for the Lamb, the price was too high for a bad design place, we were told about this place and saw some reviews so we wanted to try it, we neither recommend this place nor we will ever visit it again.
Kosherish Dave
Great!. Best Middle Eastern food I have had in Vancouver. Babaganoush is excellent. Care and thought and a healthy dose of love in each dish:-)

Super Yummy!. My partner and I have been going to Anatolia's Gate for about a year now. I'm a vegetarian and he's an omnivore, we both love their food. We love the wood burning oven, the fresh bread and pizzas are delicious! My favorite dish is the Veggie Iskender but really I haven't had a bad dish. We have eaten in before but tend to get our food to go. The restaurant is clean and simple but lacks a bit in the ambience department. It's a place we recommend to all of our friends:)

Lamb, Lamb, Lamb. Need I say more. Wonderful small restaurant in Highgate area of Kingsway. This is a unique restaurant with a lot of promise. Delicious food. Authentic Turkish dishes. Like lamb? try their Inegol Kofte. Meat Lovers Pide will hook you there too. Both tumbs are up

Anatolia’s Gate is a Turkish restaurant owned by a father-son duo who specializes in Lavash bread and prepare their dishes using solely a stoned-grilled oven. My boyfriend lives five minutes from the restaurant so we decided one night to try it out and we are SO glad we did!

- See more at: http://604now.com/2013/10/anatolias-gate-south-burnabys-hidden-gem/#sthash.2JKRZfHl.dpuf

I enjoyed the food and service here. I only wished that they had more of their menu actually available. All my dishes that I had initially wanted to order they were out already and I was at the restaurant at 6:30pm. However I did enjoy the food, the appetizer being the highlight of my day. I will go back and try some more, but I would avoid the meat and curry dishes and focus more on the shareables.

We tried everything that the waiter recommended but I wish we tried the Meat Pide because it seems more unique and popular than what we ordered

Anatolia’s Ground Meat Balls with oven roasted veggies tomato sauce and cheese baked in oven served with lavash. Meat balls were not too overwhelming, good seasoning, A THUMBS UP. The veggies on the other-hand I didn’t really like because they were drowned in the tomato sauce and the oils… Kinda gross to me but I did dip the lavash in the sauce so I guess i’m a hypocrite…
Fiopo
enjoyed the meat pide a lot. It tasted eerily familiar. It tasted like a cross between a pizza with an egg on top, a stuffed naan, deluxe nachos, and host of other junky-but-yummy American/Americanized dishes.

... $16.95 can get you a good amount of food for two persons, so your visit to Anatolia's Gate Restaurant needn't be anywhere close to the over-$50 after tip experience and scary-looking leftovers we had.
Penny And Rusty
The lamb in their Lamb Curry was moist and tender and I was surprised at how good it was. The dish is rather large but I wish they had more onions. The curry had a nice burn to it so if you like spicy food, you’ll love this.

Honestly, I have passed by this place numerous times; too many times that it just seemed funny we never thought of giving it a try. It started out with one day, Greeny was very adventurous that he went and checked out this place. Then he told me about how big the "pastry" was and the experience was out of his expectation (in a good way). It got me all interested and put it on my "hit list". The exterior was definitely not very attractive - and that's partially when we have never thought of trying. Once we entered the restaurant, we saw a huge stone oven and the interior has a very exotic feeling to it. Decorated with many Turkish style décor, it certainly has its own characteristics. Lamb Durum Wrap ($7.95) - 5.5/6 The lamb was very flavourful and tender, without the lamby taste. As you can see from the picture, it was loaded with the yogurt-based tzatziki sauce. The sauce was creamy yet not overly rich. I think there's a bit of dried parsley in there as well to bring out the flavou

I had no idea what Turkish cuisine entailed but I was up to try anything. Turns out, Turkish food shares a lot of characteristics with their Mediterranean neighbors. Lots of roast meats and vegetables and yogurt-based sauces for dipping. I made a rare trip out to Burnaby to get to Anatolia's Gate . Vancouver isn't the biggest city in the world but we have so much in nearly every part of the metropolitan area that there's often not much reason to head to other suburbs. I have no problem driving anywhere in the area if there's good food involved, though. Right when you get in the door, you'll notice the large, open gas oven used to cook just about everything on the menu. I'm told that using one of these is

Anatolia's Gate provides authentic, homemade Turkish cuisine. They offer everything from flat breads to stone grilled kabobs to guveches to lahmajun. Their menu is 100% Halal, which Muslims on the lower mainland will appreciate. Since they have a hot stone gas oven, they also offer pizzas with unique toppings like humus, and donair kabob. Anatolia's Gate's owner (from Turkey) explained that he installed this gas oven for a pretty penny, but that the price was well worth this investment because the oven is essential to creating deliciously authentic Turkish food. Wow, look at the gargantuan size of this bread! Lavash bread ($2/$4/$6) - Anatolia's famous ballo
