Heard they serve all day breakfast and we tried it last night. We ordered the sausage egger on a warm bun that comes with hash brown and a drink and it was really good. You have a choice of english muffin or bun with your breakfast sandwich. Quite busy place and parking was a bit of a challenge.
The restaurant serves some descent good quality fast food in town. We ordered 3 chubby chicken burger with fries and coke. It is not heavy on pocket. Sprinkle some chilli powder on fries to spice it up.
For several years I lived just off Pembina and McGillivray. At the time I was a member at St. Vital EMC located originally at St. Mary’s and Bishop Grandin, then at Burland School. Being on the other side of the river, bus travel was a little tricky at times. However, the 16 route or the Dart were available at Pembina Highway and Plaza Drive. Given that there is often a bit of wait between the two buses, the A & W located there was a convenient place for a quick meal while I waited to transfer.

Great staff, food cooked to order, and the staff easily did substitutions and specifications on the menu with ease! Don't want to go out for greasy breakfast too much, but when I want greasy breakfast out and cheap, this place is #1!!!
Delicious and Fresh!. We went through the Drive Thru at this location yesterday for dinner. It was quick, and the food was perfect, exactly what we ordered. The onion rings were fresh, so were our burgers and wraps. The teen burgers are my favourite. We used coupons which came in the mail so the price was right, too. Pleasant experience for fast food. We will be back again.
I love this A&W,because it close my home and when I order its faster. Rootbeer is nice drink for me. However, no ice cream in A&W
Very good burgers at this restaurant. Lots of choices to design the burger the way you like with all the usual fixings - lettuce, tomatoes, pickles plus grilled onions, and mushrooms. Sauce choices were BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, relish, and hot sauces. The line moved quite smoothly for a Friday evening, with our burgers being ready in about 10 minutes. Lots of takeout orders being prepared at the time. The burger patty itself could use a little more seasoning. We had bacon cheeseburgers - bacon was nice and crispy. Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. We wanted to dine in - couldn't find a table that had been cleaned, so we cleaned one ourselves. Looked at about 10 tables - all had crumbs or food scraps on them from previous customers. Choice of fountain drinks was very good. If you are looking for a loaded burger - this place would give you some good options
The Pembina location is great. Very clean, awesome staff, hot fresh food.
My bacon cheese burger was awesome, delicious, firm (not sloppy), well-appointed for the price.
My first time going! I loved my burger! Closer to homemade then most. The fries were delicious and actually homemade! They gave very generous servings! The milkshake was thick and it all brought me back to my youth with the tastes and diner ambiance! We were there with family and price was reasonable!
Great place for a family time! Cheese burger was so tasty and fries were SO GOOD!! patty inside burgers are so yummy too. Thank you chefs! Great customer service, atmosphere, taste of food. Their food is becoming yummier each time I come here :)
It's the small details that makes me love this place. Customize your burger. They always give extra fries in the bag. I'm allergic to peanut but they give you free roasted peanuts if you ask. Even though I'm allergic to peanuts I am still able to eat their fries they use peanut oil. It's always clean and pretty fast. It is a great family friendly place
The burger had a juicy and delicious flavor. The double cheese with all the toppings is a burger I would recommend.
The fries were ok but felt like they lacked salt and tasted a bit bland. The fries are freshly cut in the restaurant tho so that is really good to see.
I really love their burgers, be warned the mini ones are the size of whoppers basically... You get a plethora of toppings for the burgers or hamburgers, and you get a lot of fries, do not underestimate that statement. Service is pretty quick, when I was there there were quite a few skip the dishes people waiting for orders, but it really didn't slow down my order.
