These burger joints are getting fewer in numbers all the time.We hit this place up every so often and it never disappoints.Our favorites are always the Greek salad and their burgers.Prices are in line with the market and the food is great. This isnt a fine dining type of restaurant but its comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a good burger and fries joint I would recommend these guys.
Anything less than a 4 star review is wrong. Simple as that. The burgers are great. The chili fries are great. I'm rating it 5 because it's worth it.
One of my favourite meals is a hamburger with fresh and hot french fries. George's on St. Mary's has never let me down. The service is always efficient, courteous, and friendly. Parking is never a problem. However, I do have one concern. A litre of wine costs $25 while a half litre is $20. In my opinion, that $20 price should be reduced to no more than $15. As it stands, it encourages people (some of whom are drivers) to drink more than they should. Also, as it stands, a half litre and a 6 oz. glass cost more than a litre. That is no logical.
The fries are so good! Burgers and gyros are also very good but definitely comparable to other places. Service good and cleanliness also good. Not really great on atmosphere but if you are looking for delicious food this is a great spot.
The poutine here is amazing. I've never been disappointed! The fatboys are good but it seems like the burger itself is getting smaller because the bun is almost double the size. Too much bun. The hotdogs are good too.
I had a fat boy burger, fries and a vanilla milkshake here. The burger was very good, although it was so big it fell apart and was nearly impossible to eat. The fries were very good, and the milkshake was outstanding.
In my opinion, VJ's still has the best burgers and fries in town, but the milkshakes at George's are definitely better.

Excellent food! Barely a wait, even when it's crazy busy. I know they had some issues with their fries being cooked enough, which I think Has worked itself out (new fry cutter I understand? Not sure what that Has to do with cooking fries through. It seemed to my husband (who had a family burger joint) that the oil wasn't hot enough (not letting the oil heat up enough between batches?)
No matter what we order, the food is insanely good. On a few occasions, our order has been incorrectly taken, but the waitress always comes back to check so quickly, which is awesome as the replacement is always quick coming back. Some places you have to chase

The servers are all awesome. But, sadly I find the owner pretty full of herself and is quite prone to cutting you off in mid sentence when your ordering etc. I prefer to be served by regular wait staff (how often can you say that?) however, she is always there, and certainly pulls her weight and seems Great to her staff. Maybe just dial It down a bit.
I have a lot of good memories in this restaurant. The burgers and hot dogs are very good and they have many greek items on the menu. The price is great and the fresh buns they use are a big plus for me. Never leave hungry when I come here.
Best place for cheap eats!! The owners are great people who know how to take care of their customers. Awesome food great service! Highly recommend!!!
I love eating here, especially with family! Lots of food for what you paid! The fat boy is my go to, but the chicken pita is also very good. George's makes really good fries too! Compared to similar burger joints, George's delivers great taste at a much better price!
