This was my first teppanyaki experience so unfortunately I have no benchmark for comparison.
The food was good and the prices were reasonable (I like that all the prices were on their menu online so there’s no surprises). I would say that the visit was more about the experience than the food itself - if you’re looking for mind blowing flavours and food, this isn’t it; but if you’re looking for something fun to do for a birthday/special occasion, I can recommend this.
The service was superb - consistent subtle attention from the server, my water glass was never empty, didn’t feel pressured to leave immediately after paying our bill, etc.
Parking in the area is mostly paid parking but reasonable - a few metered spots within the block and there is also the underground parking with an entrance in the alley behind the restaurant.
One thing to note for both the owner and patrons - at the time of my review the entrance door was very difficult to open (it was not particularly windy or anything). Hopefully this can get resolved!

I’ve been to many places that do hibachi type food in the U.S but I was in town here for I thought I’d try this place. I called and they were able to get me into a same day reservation. I really liked the inside of the place it has a nice theme to it and the tables are all spread out. We had Roland as our chef and that was the best experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant! Roland is a joker but super funny and genuinely cares about his customers and stuff. People kept walking up and saying bye to his before they left that just there shows a lot. He made us feel super welcome being our first time in Canada. The sauces are to die for!!! I got the steak and chicken, they were both cooked to perfection and with any of the sauces tasted amazing. I asked for a teriyaki sauce and he made one on the spot real quick! That was my favorite and best teriyaki that I’ve ever had. The whole staff was super nice and would regularly check up on us making sure we were good. Thank you Roland for making our experience un forgetful.
I always look forward to coming here, the food is always amazing, delicious cocktails and the atmosphere is unlike anything, the chefs really know how to put on a show and they really set the bar high, when it come to an awesome dining experience. Worth every penny. Perfect place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary but also the perfect date for a nice dinner out 10/10 recommend. Reservation are recommended
