Delicious Chinese food here. Got the lunch special, shredded pork with rice. It comes with a side (I chose pot stickers) and a delicious egg, mushroom, tofu soup. The portion was very generous for $10.95. The meal came out quickly which is important for me at lunch break, but there weren't many patrons at the time. The service was friendly. I had to take quite a bit to go, was too filling. I will return!

Beijing bistro is so great! Their food is authentic and unlike other Chinese food in the be city, but still feels homey. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and really want to ensure you have a great experience. I couldn't recommend here enough, if you're on the fence definitely try it, you won't regret it!

The food here is tremendously good. I had despaired of ever finding decent Chinese food in Victoria - but this place delivers. Lovely shrimp wonton soup (with the little, ocean-wise west-coast shrimp!) the broth is simply magical.

The spring rolls are crisp and the veggies inside are superb, but what really sets them apart is the wonderful red sauce served with them.

My fave dish tonight was the almond chicken. SO full of savory delight.

Do yourself a favour, skip the overhyped Chinese food place further up on Fort (you know the one, it's totally gone downhill) and give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Lunch special combos are very generous for their price. I had the Chop Suey, which came with a vegetable spring roll, hot and sour soup, lots of veggies and rice. Great place for lunch.

A surprising find!. The family ended up at the bistro by happenstance. The place we planned on lunching at (Fish Hook) was closed, and we came upon the Bistro. When we were there, there were more staff than customers and the menu did not inspire - very bare bones with poor descriptions of the food and many spelling mistakes! So we were not expecting much.....and were very pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. We had quick fried squid with rice crust ( accurate but uninspiring menu name) and the Yu Shiang shredded pork with spicey garlic sauce. Both were delicious! The squid is the best we have had in North America! It was tender and FLAVOURFUL! It actually tasted of squid. The pork was yummy and spicy - perfectly balanced.

The kids had lunch special combination plates - big portions with more accessible food. The 14 year old declared the meat spring roll the best he has had ( and he has had a few!). The portions were generous - the 14 year old finished his and announced he was full ( a first time occurance!)
Overall a great meal. We will definitely be back. Don't be put off by the merger menu - as I think they are banking on serving Chinese customers!

What a wonderful surprise ❣️. Fantastic tasty fresh food, of good proportions, cooked by a 30 year experienced Beijing chef. Service was fabulous, with a very humble, kind, gracious, friendly and gentle server. Didn’t have to wait at all for food to be prepared hot and fresh, even though they were busy with a constant stream of online delivery orders, and dine-in patrons. Humble environment, which only makes the experience more of an amazing meal. $$$

Popped in for quick lunch and was pleasantly impressed with the food and service. Dining room has nice atmosphere, service is friendly and attentive. Would have given 5 stars but bathroom is lacking in cleanliness as is the area one walks through after leaving dining room en route to bathroom. Soles of my shoes picked up some super sticky stuff in there. I hope this review helps with that as this is a good restaurant.

I ordered vegetable chow mein, vegetable dumplings and veg egg roll. Originally it appeared like there were no vegetables in the chow mein because they were all on the bottom, so give it a good stir. Dumplings and sauce are amazing. I ordered through Uber and very fast. My new go to place for Chinese cravings.

I had the steam rock fish for my dinner. It's so stylish and tasty. The price was also reasonable. This remind me having meals in Beijing, China. I would recommend any people who wants authentic Chinese food in Victoria, BC. Myself will definitely come back when visiting Victoria.

We had a great dinner here before a movie. Dan Dan noodles were the best we have had on the island since moving over. The half duck was also fantastic, served traditionally.
