Hands down, our favourite coffee shop in Victoria (& there is some good competition!). The owners, staff, coffee selection, atmosphere, music, kid-friendliness & of course the pop tarts ���.

Among the best Flat Whites I have tasted in my life. M83 blasting on vinyl for vibes & a combination of Washed Guatemala , Washed Ethiopia & Washed Costa Rica beans for the espresso proprietary blend (mixed together). Marvalous Taste & Concoction of a product. Missed out on Waffles, yet I will need to try again om a future Sunday. This is my favorite coffee shop in Victoria
The best place to get coffee in town. Rotating menu of single origin coffee from a selection of roasters. Super tasty baked goods, and amazing waffles every Sunday. This is easily one of my favourite spots in Victoria, and where I end up buying about 95% of my coffee. Always a warm and welcoming vibe. The owners and staff are all amazing people, and I feel incredibly lucky to have this coffee shop here in Victoria.
I visited this place on a busy Sunday. Lined up 10 minutes before 10 and there were already more than 10 people lined up. The door opened at 10 and tables filled up pretty fast. It was a bit chaotic trying to secure a table and keep our places in the line. There is no menu on the wall, so you have to go to their IG account and check the special, or wait till you get close to the counter where they keep a copy of their menu. Not sure if missing wall menu is intended so it looks cooler but personally I wished they prioritized customer experience over whatever they are trying to achieve. Ordered basic waffle ($10) and coffee. Coffee was really good and waffle was just okay. Conclusion: not sure what the big hype is all about. But if you are in the neighborhood, looking for a cup of coffee (in & out), perfect place. If you want to sit and have a proper brunch, go elsewhere.
This is a lovely little cafe tucked in the heart of Oak Bay Village. The owners and staff are all incredible. The drinks and treats are divine. And the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend coming here!
Yummy "Apple crumble waffles" on Sunday morning with cappuccino with almond milk. Crowded but high turn over. Very friendly staff and quick service. Recommended!

Hide + Seek has such great coffee and such a cool vibe. Not to mention lovely staff and owners alike! The drinks are delicious, as are the snacks/food. I have had some of the best cookies of my life here. Also, there is a great selection of coffee beans available for purchase and gift options for the coffee lovers out there. I would highly recommend checking this local business out!
My fave coffee spot in Victoria! They nail the coffee forward cappuccinos and seasonal drinks. Big fan of the Arnold Palmer too. Cool swag and chill tunes.
By far my favorite cafe in Victoria. They've created such a beautiful community atmosphere at Hide&Seek, and I love seeing all of the regulars whenever I pop in to get their delicious pour over coffee and mom-made sausage rolls.
Don't miss their waffle Sundays! It's a weekly tradition now that I wouldn't trade for the world. Their weekly features are finger-lickin' good!
Great drip. Tasted like the beans were properly roasted. Not burnt like in most of the cafés 😊will definitely come back
I was in Victoria for a conference but had a final I needed to finish for a class and stumbled upon Hide + Seek in my search for a space with wifi. The atmosphere was very chill and the employees were super kind. I was there for about 4 hours and felt comfortable the whole time. The orange and cardamom cake was so good I wanted to ask for the recipe. I also got green tea and they did two steeps for me during my time there, which was about 4 cups of tea and was really good. I would definitely recommend if you're in town visiting and want a nice (not super expensive) place to chill.
