I have a lot of food sensitivities (gluten, dairy, eggs) and did not have any issues after eating here. I'm so happy that flour does not go into their fryers so that I don't have to worry about cross contamination. =)
My boyfriend and I had BBQ, honey garlic, and Thai (or maybe sweet chili - can't remember) with a side of small fries. We had ordered buffalo instead of BBQ at first, but were informed that the buffalo sauce has butter in it. Be sure to ask if a flavour is right for you if you have any allergies/sensitivities.

My partner and I love this place!! I'm a vegetarian and he's an omnivore and it's perfect for the both of us because we can each order something great. My favourite things to order are the crispy tofu wrap or the crispy tofu burger, because the tofu is cooked in your choice of wing sauce as well as served with your choice of mayo. Even my partner orders the tofu burger a lot of the time because it is just so good. I also love their poutine, onion nest, waldorf salad, and boozy milkshakes. We've had a great experience with the staff too! We always bring out of town guests here because of the great prices/great food and we've never heard a complaint!
GLUTEN FREE deliciousness!! This place has a lot of passion and you can tell the staff have so much heart and love with what they do. Gluten free eats and treats like this are hard to find, so I can appreciate the extensive offerings and menu options. They can pretty much make everything gluten free (excluding wraps). The boneless wings are heavenly and I love that the batter isn’t heavy and thick - it’s perfectly done. So amazing to have a fried pickle option too, and there are so many more items I’d love to try. Keep doing what you do as this is a hidden gem that deserves to stay open forever! I also appreciate that the gluten free bakery is two doors down. Great location and can’t wait to go back.
Such a great place for delicious comfort food! Extra care was taken with my gluten-free order after we realized my partner forgot to specify my food had to be GF when he ordered, and it really comforted me to know my meal was in safe hands as I can get very sick if I eat gluten directly. All the staff were super kind and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We even had fun playing trivial pursuit while waiting for our order!
I don’t often leave reviews but I had such a nice time it seemed highly warranted to recommend this experience to others!

I used to live a block away from TT for years and have eaten here dozens upon dozens of times. My wife and I returned recently and we're so happy to find new owners doing the right things!
We ordered three different items and everything was cooked perfectly. Fries crisp, wings crispy and sauced perfetctlly.
We had an amazing lunch, trying each others wing flavours and enjoying pints of beer. The new owners and staff came by to ask how we were and clear away what we had finished.
It will be exciting to see how the new owners change or embrace the old decor.
Great burger - fresh ingredients; very tasty. Not cheap, but worth it. Friendly, good service. Price for a side of fries seemed high, but it was a large serving (enough for 2). Recommend 😋.
Excellent happy hr and wild salmon burger. More veggie options would be good but its prob a small kitchen. Would prefer other local craft beer over phillips but it quenches the thirst nonetheless.
i have never left a review in my entire life but now feels like the time to start so i can scream praise for this restaurant from the top of my digital lungs!! firstly - four words: egg. nog. milk. shake. second of all - four (more) words: dill. pickle. chicken. wings. i would give up my first born child only if these chicken wings would appear with nothing but a snap of my fingers. if i did not live in a different city, i would be here every single day of my life, eating my entire body weight in the dill pickle chicken wings. CREAMY. DELICIOUS. FLAVORFUL. COOKED TO PERFECTION.
Their Caesar salad is the best I’ve had in the city! Amazing dressing and generous with the bacon bits and grated Parmesan. Yum! I’ve also had their hamburger and falafel burger and they are very good too!
Great wings and a decent price! They have some really delicious and interesting sauce options (highly recommend the creamy dill!! tossed with actual little pieces of pickle). The fries are also amazing. The house salad is also a great value for how much you get and is awesome to cut through the grease a bit with some veg.
Great wings! My group had a huge variety of flavours that we shared and they were all delicious. The peanut one was probably my favorite. The loaded fries were also phenomenal! The staff was super friendly too. Really loved everything about this place.
My girlfriend and I went here after hearing the rave reviews (and after I had a really bad day and needed comfort food and a beer), and I have to say - this place is awesome! We were greeted like we were old friends, the food was served quickly and piping hot, the wings were perfect, the poutine was sooo good, the beer was cold, and we felt so welcome there. The atmosphere was just amazing. This is an amazing restaurant, and one we will recommend and come back to. Thank you so much, Tartan Toque, for making a bad day great and for the warm welcome. :)
