The best poutine west of Montreal and the best fried chicken I ever had. A must if you come to Vancouver island!
This was my first visit. The service was great and the staff very knowledgeable. I wasn't sure what to buy as it all looked so fresh and yummy. But the fellow behind the counter made some recommendations and they turned out to be awesome. Very flavorful and didn't leave me feeling bloated and no food hangover. I will definitely make this a regular stop now! So glad to have a place to buy great organic, fresh Vegan food.
My partner and I have been wanting to check this place out for ages and while
visiting Victoria from Toronto, finally got the chance. They didn’t disappoint! Even their drink selection was great- Caesars had recently been added to the menu, which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was so flavourful and amazing, and all the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The only thing we were upset about is that we couldn’t take any pantry items with us- we’ll be placing an order in the future for sure!

I used to order from their monthly meat box for years until I moved overseas, so I try to stop in every time I visit home. This last visit they really exceeded my expectations - food, location, menu, everything feels like it's improved. And it's not just a fantastic restaurant, but a great place to go and pick up some prepared plant based meats to cook at home. We ordered the Mac n cheese, meatball sub, chicken sandwich, with a side of bacon. All fantastic.

The ultimate comfort vegan food! So tasty and delicious always, my wife and I make sure to get their products and a good meal from them every time we’re in town. Also got their vegan meats delivered a few times to bring the goodness to us !
Today we went for the first time at their new location and not only the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and amazing, but the service also exceptional !
We also left with 2 free chocolate chip cookies graciously given by the team just as a thank you! Highly recommend !
Loved them when they opened and continue loving them. We love this spot for our fast food fix, usually order a poutine and the cauliwings. Both are super tasty! The pepperoni from their ‘butcher shop’ is also delicious.

Great vegan “meats” sold as pre packaged or made in sandwiches/wraps or whatever you order! You can get vegan smoked salmon as well, some vegan cheese spreads, some shirts and hats as well. Lots of seating around if you want to “dine in” or you can do takeout. Philly cheesesteak was sold out when I went.
I have gone here time and time again for years now and am never let down, I have brought non vegan friends here and they also say it’s the best vegan food experience they have ever had. I’ve tried many items off the menu and love trying new limited options. one of my faves is the loaded Mac n cheese. Very friendly all over really good experience
A great new location with a beautiful modern interior! The menu is a bit different with some more additions and of course, dinner! Staff are awesome as always, food is even better, and the display of all the products is beautiful! Save da Sea salmon, Butcher’s Select line, some baked goods, cheeses, cream cheeses, cheezecake, etc.
No Butcher’s Select products offered in the menu yet, but maybe that will be added soon. Would for sure be heaven for the gluten free scene!
Absolutely delicious! The patties are tasty and super moist, very good consistency - not hard or dry, nor chewy, just perfect. The best flavor is probably the "smokin" - pair it with "bacon" and you're golden. Crispy fries were a great combination. Staff is super friendly and the environment is cozy, not pretentious at all. Great variety of different patties, sausages and pickles. Honest prices. I'm not even vegan, but I can confidently say it was one of the best burgers I had - ever! We were so sad for not being able to buy some of their products (because we couldn't store it in a cooler before going back home), but then one of waiters gave us a slice of cake, on the house. So kind :)
Simply delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Seasoned and browned the Stuffed Beast briefly in butter in a skillet, then roasted according to directions in seasoned butter broth. Served with my usual veggie accompaniments and mushroom gravy. The flavor and texture of the beast was great, and the stuffing is total yum, both savory and slightly sweet. Made for a delightful, festive holiday dinner. Thank you, Very Good Butchers!
