It's got a great local pub atmosphere with the energy of a downtown bar. Karaoke every friday night and highballs are usually on sale. Wing wednesday is great too, the food here is well priced and fairly good quality. It's a little bit hidden in the comfort inn but I'm glad I found it. The wings are twice the size of the ones at the shark club, so skip that place and come here instead!
It seems mostly Locals know about this hidden gem in the heart of Victoria. Small pub atmosphere with incredible food, Reasonably priced, a great place for an excellent meal. Gluten free options are also available!
Excellent Wings , Burgers and Pizzas
For a first timer it was a pretty good experience. Our server was friendly and there, which is hard to find in most pubs. The atmosphere was dated, but that's what a good pub should be. The food was just what we wanted for pub food. Big and juicy burgers! The only problem was no onion rings to be found:( and the fries were crap. Soggy and a small order. I hate these pubs that try and be unscale by making home fries and then serving them in those stupid fancy bowls on a pub plate. It's a pub, so I want pub food. That means a heaping side of macain fries on the plate touching the burger if they must. I don't want fancy pantsy fries in a pretty bowl. That's why I don't go to the gorge pointe pub. You're not a pub when you serve fancy crap and yam fries. Pool tables, tv's, beer, wings and hockey, that's pub! Overall I will try Redds again.
Pleasant surprise!. The wings are excellent...without all that awful breading that so many places coat their wings in.
We've also been trying the new house made pizzas which are wonderful! I also went for a clubhouse sandwich once and it was good as well. The Caesar dressing is homemade and not from a bottle. What a relief.
This place is a hidden gem. Lots of parking, always room to sit and the inside of the Pub is spotlessly clean. (This is probably because it is joined to the Comfort Hotel and they use the same cleaning staff. )Regardless, I appreciate the cleanliness...especially in the washrooms.
I was reading some of the older reviews, but have not encountered any of the same issues as previous posters.

Had it delivered thru dine in victoria, and it was soo good! My husband and i ate everything, happily! Very nice.
Needless to say I wasn't looking forward to eating here. Its in a hotel, the atmosphere takes you back to the 90s with the all the oak and green tabletops, and the servings are huge. Philly cheesesteak is awesome, the chowder is superb and the prices are very reasonable. Pleasantly surprised!!
Tertert. This place is great. Service is always consistant; food is excellent and the beer is cold. #1 place to go in Victoria by far.

Got the chicken club, outstanding sandwich, the side salad was equally amazing. Found the setting nice, the beer selection not quite to my taste but definitely adequate. The service was decent. I did find it a little cold, wanted my jacket on. But overall a great pub, will visit again next time I find myself in Victoria.

Went for Wednesday wing night and it was awesome. More people should know about this place for wing night. They were crispy yet moist. The staff here is great and they have a great drink menu. The sauce selection was limited and could use a few more flavours. Not a crowded place so feel free to come in a large croud.
My group of 25 were well taken care of! Thank you so much to the amazing owner, Ryan! He's a great guy! Our server Zoe was very sweet and managed us well! Will be returning regularly and recommending to everyone. :)
Great food, very accommodating of our ever growing party. Held space for a group that grew from 10 to 25 on short notice. Very well done. Very well done by Zoey who had to deal with us all!
Great beer selection, service is friendly, personable and casual which I like. Food is usually on par too! Great daily food and drink specials and a different home made soup every day.
the service,impeccable,I'm a waiter for 25 years and never had a better dining experience. service was relaxed,yet attentative. my waiter executed my evening choices with skill, thought and excellence with perfect attention to every detail. the food, was a far cry from my last, off the shelfe musscle dinner. this time, the apitizer or calamari was tender, and the most delicious mouth full of not chewy, perfectly seasoned,battered, and prepared food I have ever eaten. the grilled cheese sandwich was a masterpiece. I didn't want to cut it, it was displayed and presented so expertly and the preparation was above and beyond my expectations of a grilled cheese. this place, and it's staff can be proud of putting Victoria on the map of one of the top 5 restaurants in the city for relaxed, comfort food prepared with skill and care of a chef and a kitchen that is worthy of such great servers.
I'm astonished, I must return soon as I ran out of cash to properly tip my server.
Phenomenal management that creates the amazing team they have here! My love and I enjoyed this place so much! I will definitely be back for more pub style eats!! You have my vote for a stop when in the area!
Redds was super accommodating for our group of 13 that came through at 9:00 pm after baseball. The Food was really good and well priced and the service was really impressive for our size of group and how high maintenance we were!!! Thanks Tessa!!!

Good pub food . Friendly staff, most were very efficient. Interesting daily specials. Better now the heating is fixed, was freezing before. Different bartenders on different nights. Jessica is great.
